The Killing Begins

The men in black were all enveloped by the thick fog.

"Damn it! What kind of world did the other side merge with? Why is it so strange?"

"I've indeed never encountered this kind of world aura before."

"But so what? Does he think he can hide in this thick fog? That's laughable."

"Wait, this fog seems to interfere with perception. My connection to the creatures in my world has grown weaker."

They quickly discovered that the thick fog was no ordinary thing.

"Damn it, if the Creation World really belonged to me, I definitely wouldn't be affected."

"I wonder what kind of creatures live in the other side's world."

Just as the other men in black had confirmed this, several figures suddenly flashed past them.

They were gone in a blink, moving incredibly fast.

"Who is that? What was that?"

"It must be those students who ran away. Let's chase them!"

The men in black immediately gave chase, but when they reached the spot...

They could see nothing around them but thick fog.

But just then, several more shadows flashed past from another direction.

They chased after them again, but still saw nothing.

And then one of them noticed something strange.

"Are we still in the same place? We haven't moved at all!"

"How is that possible? We ran a long way."

"But look over there. That's a piece of building rubble that was right beside us just now. I remember it for sure. It's exactly the same!"

At that, the five of them stared at one another.

Meanwhile, Shen Hui had fully unfurled his world.

Although the Creation World and the real world couldn't fully overlap,

Shen Hui could bring Sadako, Tomie, and the others to the overlapping area.

That way, they could appear in the real world.

Shen Hui didn't deal with the men in black right away.

After all, even if he killed them all, their Creation Worlds wouldn't disappear.

They would merely become Unclaimed Worlds and still remain here.

And in the real world, Creators were nowhere near as powerful as the creatures in their Creation Worlds.

So the main objective was to kill the creatures in their Creation Worlds.

That would be enough to destroy the Creation Worlds.

As the first creature to appear, Siren Head received a direct order from Shen Hui to follow behind him and protect him and the others.

The enormous shadow hidden in the thick fog followed right behind Shen Hui.

Ye Long, Qingxue, and the others stood beside Shen Hui, too timid to move.

That was mainly because Siren Head's oppressive presence was simply too powerful.

If Shen Hui hadn't been there, they wouldn't have been able to stay another moment.

It was hard to imagine that this was a Hero created by someone their own age, from their own year, and in a Death World.

Wang Yi couldn't help asking curiously, "Shen Hui, what quality is your Hero?"

Quality represented the potential and strength of the Heroes created within an awakened Creation World.

They thought Shen Hui would say Intermediate, or maybe Advanced.

But Shen Hui casually replied, "This Hero is only of Perfect quality."

Hearing Shen Hui's words, they didn't react at first.

But the next instant, their eyes all widened.

Their faces filled with disbelief.

Even the negative emotions in their hearts were dispelled to some extent.

"Holy crap! Perfect quality! Brother Shen, are you sure? No, did I hear you right?"

Ye Long immediately blurted out.

"Shen Hui, is it really Perfect quality? This... no wonder it's so strong!"

Qingxue couldn't help exclaiming in amazement.

The others were all just as shocked.

"How was a Hero like this even created? I've never seen a creature like it."

"Those giant beasts come from worlds that are clearly above yours, yet your Hero can crush them. That's insane!"

Because, according to common sense, a Hero's quality was equivalent to its strength.

It was directly proportional to how developed and complete the world was.

If Qingxue and the others created Heroes, they would most likely be Common, the lowest quality.

With good talent and luck, they might manage to get Intermediate.

But reaching Perfect quality was something they wouldn't even dare dream of.

So they'd already guessed higher, even going as far as Advanced.

After all, by conventional wisdom, a world needed to be at least Level Five in development before it could create a Perfect-quality Hero!

That was why people like them, who had status and connections and had met influential figures, were so utterly beside themselves.

It was like a chick pecking at someone's butt-an eye-opening experience.

Shen Hui was actually this monstrous!

But Shen Hui could tell that Siren Head was so ferocious because the giant beasts from those other Creation Worlds weren't as powerful as he'd imagined.

A giant python came rushing around and ran into Shen Hui and the others.

But before it could get close, Siren Head struck it with a single punch, sending it flying and leaving it half-dead.

There was a difference between Heroes and ordinary units, but these beasts shouldn't have been this weak.

Still, if he could handle them, that was for the best.

"Brother Shen, what do we do now?" Ye Long asked Shen Hui.

Shen Hui already had a plan.

Since these giant creatures weren't as strong as he'd imagined,

then there was no problem with meeting them head-on.

Besides, all of Shen Hui's Heroes had different forms of immortality.

That made things easy.

He could simply release them all and let them slaughter to their hearts' content!

"We just have to kill all these giant creatures."

Hearing Shen Hui say this so casually,

Qingxue, Ye Long, and the others didn't react at first.

But the next instant, they understood, and were gripped by immense terror.

The thick fog behind Shen Hui churned and surged.

Besides Siren Head, who had appeared first,

three more shadows appeared, hidden in the fog. They were about the same size as the others.

Although they were about the same size as the others and didn't have that same enormous, oppressive presence,

the aura of danger they gave off was in no way inferior to Siren Head's.

And when they appeared, the fear in their hearts surged wildly once more.

That was only the aura they gave off, and it was already affecting them.

If the shadows attacked them or used their abilities,

they would probably have already been driven completely insane by fear.

They all swallowed, very curious about what these shadows looked like.

Shen Hui seemed to see what they were thinking, and immediately said:

"Don't go looking at them. The Heroes I created aren't the kind you're familiar with."

"They might affect your minds. It wouldn't be good if you ended up stupid."

Qingxue stammered, "Th-this is... all of your Hero Units?"

"Back... during the initial test on the big screen... that woman in white was one of them too, right?"

Shen Hui nodded. They had seen Sadako during the initial test.

When Ye Long and the others heard Qingxue had seen her, they hadn't seen her themselves, so they hurriedly asked what she looked like.

Qingxue thought about it, then replied somewhat awkwardly:

"I didn't get a clear look at the time. She looked like a woman, but you could tell she didn't seem human. Or rather... she seemed like a dead person!"

"But when you closed your eyes, her figure appeared clearly in your mind. Yet when you looked closely, you still couldn't make it out."

"It felt as though she was right beside you, watching you every moment."
