Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! A volley of arrows flew from behind the Resistance and fell upon the charging Felguards.

Rather than take the volley head-on, the charging Felguards stopped and swung their massive weapons, knocking down the arrows that came near them.

The demons' weapons easily dealt with the Resistance's counterattack.

The Eredar Warlocks behind the Felguards also began casting Fel magic, intending to deal with the Resistance's ranged troops. Meanwhile, the Fel Reavers searched for suitable places to set up their Fel Cannons and bombard the Resistance.

"Spread out and dodge the attacks!" The leader of the reinforcements was Naisha. She had received orders from Maiev to help the Resistance here.

As Naisha gave her orders, the Eredar Warlocks had already finished chanting their spells. A Rain of Fire crashed down upon the reinforcements she led.

The powerful Fel magic swept through Naisha's reinforcements. Though she had given her troops timely orders, some of them were still struck by the Rain of Fire.

The Rain of Fire consisted of rocks shrouded in Fel fire. Rocks falling from such a height were dangerous enough on their own, and the burning Fel fire made them even deadlier.

Soldiers who failed to dodge in time were knocked down by the falling rocks, then set alight by the Fel fire on them. As the warriors tried to put out the flames on their bodies, they left themselves open and were struck by the rocks that followed. Many warriors lost their lives this way.

Seeing that the Resistance's ranged troops had fallen silent, the Felguards hurriedly resumed their charge, hoping to wipe out the entire Resistance in one go.

"Quick! Organize the defense!" Jarod shouted. He had already drawn his weapon and charged at the nearest Felguard.

"This world will burn!" the Felguard cried as he swung his massive weapon at Jarod's head.

"Never! You and your demon masters will be defeated!" Jarod swung his weapon to meet the blow. Though the Felguard was immensely strong, Jarod was even stronger.

Jarod knocked the Felguard's weapon aside and stepped forward, charging at him. The blade in his hand sliced open the Felguard's belly, and he quickly turned it and drove it deep inside.

"I will not die! This world will burn!" The Felguard fell, his face full of unwillingness.

"Keep attacking! The demons are no match for us! For Azeroth!" With that, Jarod charged at another Felguard.

Moved by Jarod's actions, the Resistance charged at the demon coalition.

"Sisters! Kill these demons and avenge our fallen comrades!" Naisha mounted her Moonblade Panther again and charged at a demon, waving her moonblade.

The Moonblade Panther sensed its mistress's anger and ran at great speed. Her sharp moonblade and swift speed raised Naisha's fighting prowess to another level.

Naisha approached a demon and swung her moonblade, easily taking a Felguard's life.

Just as things were going well for the Resistance, the Fel Reavers that had finished deploying unleashed blasts of fire energy.

The fire attacks unleashed by the Fel Reavers dealt the Resistance a heavy blow. This was pure fire elemental energy, even more powerful than the Rain of Fire, and it burned a great number of soldiers to death.

The others were also shocked by the mechanical demons' ability and began to shrink back.

Just as the Resistance were all retreating, one figure charged forward.

Naisha rode her Moonblade Panther toward a Fel Reaver. When the Fel Reaver saw a Resistance fighter coming at it, it hastily turned its cannon toward Naisha and fired a series of blasts of fire energy.

Naisha did not panic as she watched the fire energy coming at her. She guided her Moonblade Panther to dodge the attacks.

Seeing that its attacks had achieved nothing, the Fel Reaver quickly stopped firing and began preparing its next attack. It also began observing the Resistance soldier darting around before it, its mechanical brain calculating the soldier's trajectory. Finally, just as Naisha was about to reach the demon, the Fel Reaver worked out the insect's trajectory.

"Whoosh!" A fan-shaped blast of fire spewed out. The Fel Reaver used Fire Breath to cut off Naisha's escape routes.

Naisha realized she could not dodge the attack and decided to brace herself and charge through it. As long as she made it through the fire attack, she would win.

Having made up her mind, Naisha charged straight at the fire.

The fire struck Naisha in an instant. When the Resistance saw their commander swallowed by the flames, their hearts filled with anger and grief.

"Kill them! Avenge Commander Naisha!" a Resistance captain said.

The Resistance all charged at the Felguards, swinging their weapons with greater force. Some soldiers even traded wound for wound and life for life, all to avenge their fallen commander and soldiers.

Within the flames, Naisha felt no burning. Surprised, she opened her eyes and saw a figure shielding her.

Jarod had been watching Naisha ever since she had set out to attack the Fel Reaver. When it unleashed the deadly blow, he hurriedly used teleportation magic to appear in front of her and cast a defensive spell to block the attack.

The Fel Reaver had sacrificed power for range with this move. Otherwise, Jarod, who had already fought several major battles, would not have been able to withstand its attack.

"Quick! Attack! I can't hold on much longer!" Jarod was struggling to maintain the shield. He had not rested yet, and sustaining it was already his limit.

Behind Jarod, Naisha had made her preparations, ready to finish the Fel Reaver with one blow when its attack ended.

The Fel Reaver's attack finally ended, and Jarod's shield had also vanished. Naisha seized the chance and charged at the Fel Reaver with her moonblade in hand.

The two were close together, so Naisha reached the Fel Reaver in two or three strides. She raised her hand and drove her moonblade into its head.

Having just used its skill, the Fel Reaver was locked in place. Unable to move, it could only watch Naisha drive the blade into its head.

Because the Fel Reaver was a machine, its body began to destabilize once its control system was destroyed. Naisha grabbed Jarod and got clear of the Fel Reaver before it exploded.

Boom! With a tremendous noise, the Fel Reaver was blown apart. Its shattered parts flew into the Resistance and the demon coalition, leaving them with fine cuts.

"Thanks to you, or we would have died here," Jarod said, panting heavily. He had evidently not yet recovered from his magical exhaustion.

"Don't thank me yet. We're surrounded by demons," Naisha said, holding her moonblade as she watched the demons draw ever closer around them.
