The scouts sent by Dath'Remar brought him news.

"My lord, we have discovered an abandoned Night Elf stronghold."

"Night Elf stronghold?" Dath'Remar was clearly shocked by the news brought by the scouts.

"Lieutenant, you stay here to maintain order. I'll take a small unit to check things out."

Dath'Remar gave the order, and then led his personal guards to the abandoned Night Elf stronghold.

Thousands of years have passed, and the soldiers Apophis ordered to guard the stronghold of the Eternal Elves are long gone.

The buildings here are dilapidated, but you can still tell from their appearance that they have an elven style.

Dath'Remar's personal guards went in first to check for any dangers, since thousands of years had passed and no one knew if any wild beasts had made their home there.

The guards who entered first began to search the building inside, their movements very quiet and careful.

The buildings here are filled with dust, and the cobwebs in the corners create a dilapidated scene.

"Cough, cough, cough," because the door was opened and the wind blowing in stirred up the dust inside the room. The flying dust choked the guards.

"This place is really filthy," the guard complained.

"It's a bit dirty, but it's much better than the sea. I really don't want to go out to sea again." Another guard, however, didn't seem to mind the dust at all.

The sea cast a shadow over these Highborne, and their constant Highborne on the ship instilled in them a deep longing for the land.

The guards searched the house room by room, but they found nothing strange, only a lot of dust.

The guards, finding no danger in the abandoned houses, returned to Dath'Remar to report.

"Sir, we have already scouted this area and there is no danger."

"There's nothing but dust here."

The guards reported to Dath'Remar.

"Since there's no danger, let's go in and tidy this place up to use as a temporary base."

Upon hearing the news brought to him by his personal guards, Dath'Remar gave his orders.

Upon hearing the order, one of the guards went to their landing point to gather manpower.

Dath'Remar, along with the remaining guards, entered the stronghold that Jarod had originally built.

As Dath'Remar entered the stronghold, he couldn't help but marvel at how small yet fully equipped it was.

It has all the necessary living and defense facilities; it can be used normally after simply cleaning off the dust and performing some basic repairs.

"Snyder, did you build this?" Dath'Remar explored the entire stronghold.

"But didn't you say you would raise a new continent? Or have we come to your territory?" Dath'Remar was filled with questions, but he didn't have time to think about it; he needed to find a way to settle his people.

After the Highborne cleared out the entire stronghold, Dath'Remar allowed his people, who had fallen ill from the long sea voyage, to rest inside.

A few days later, after the Highborne had a short rest Dath'Remar had Highborne build a temporary settlement, while he left the stronghold and began to explore the surrounding area using maps drawn by his scouts.

Dath'Remar followed the map to a lake.

Dath'Remar sensed an energy here.

Although extremely weak, the quality of its energy is very high.

However, this power is irreversibly fading away, and the loss of energy pains and saddens Dath'Remar, as magic crystals are becoming increasingly scarce, and the Highborne are in dire need of new energy sources.

Dath'Remar continued to feel his way, trying to find a way to stop the loss of energy, even if it was just a little bit.

However, he couldn't find a way to stop the energy flow; the area seemed to have suffered severe damage, and the energy loss was irreversible.

Disappointed, Dath'Remar prepared to leave. Just as Dath'Remar was about to depart...

He discovered a faint magical signal beneath a large tree by the lake.

Dath'Remar, puzzled, walked toward the magical signal.

This tree is enormous, much thicker than the surrounding trees.

Dath'Remar walked to the tree and used magic to dig out the thing that was emitting the magical signal.

"A communication crystal?" Dath'Remar wondered.

How did this thing get here?

Dath'Remar took the communication crystal in his hand and began to pour magical energy into it.

The communication stone greedily devoured magical energy. Fortunately, Dath'Remar arrived, otherwise this magical crystal would have turned into an ordinary stone in a few years.

The communication crystal, nourished by magic, regained its former form, and magical light once again emanated from the stone.

The abundant magical energy activated the communication stone. Dath'Remar looked at the activated communication stone, wondering who was on the other end.

In the barracks of the Kingdom of Aikatel, on the Helidos Continent

Jarod had just finished training, was resting and developing training plans for the new recruits.

The communication stone hanging at his waist, which had been silent for a long time, suddenly rang.

The voice coming from the communication stone surprised Jarod, as he, being a long-lived being, knew very well how long Apophis, a short-lived being, lived.

Thousands of years have passed; in Jarod's mind, Apophis should have been dead for thousands of years.

Only the two of them knew how to use this communication stone. Apophis was dead, so who was contacting him now?

Jarod suppressed his doubts and connected to the communication stone.

The communication stone transmits the images from both sides to each other.

"Jarod!"

"Dath'Remar!"

Both of them were surprised; neither of them had expected that the other side of the communication stone was them.

"How do you possess the communication stone that only my brother has?" Jarod asked first.

"I found this communication stone under this tree." Dath'Remar switched perspectives to show Jarod the whole scene.

"Did you build this Night Elf stronghold? And why has your skin changed color?" Dath'Remar switched the perspective back and asked his questions.

"This outpost was built thousands of years ago when I went there on a mission. As for the change in our skin color, it's because His Majesty Snyder brought us a new energy source, and we bathed in its radiance, which changed our skin color."

Jarod answered Dath'Remar's question.

"You came here thousands of years ago? Then do you have a detailed map of this place? We've just arrived, and we need a detailed map." Dath'Remar seized upon the useful information in Jarod's words.

"How about this, "Jarod suggested, "I'll tell His Majesty Snyder about you. I'm sure Snyder Majesty will help you."

"Okay, I'll wait for your news here."
