• Gu Chen stepped out and recognized the attacker as a likely Wuji Manor assassin, who confirmed he had come for Gu Chen.
• The assassin hurled spiritual-power-enhanced throwing knives at Gu Chen, but Gu Chen caught them barehanded and flung them back.
• Gu Chen closed the distance and struck the assassin hard enough to send him crashing into the rock wall.
