(I plan to write about the issue of Demon descent in these two chapters. I know some readers will criticize this, but based on my understanding of Coiling Dragon, if angels can descend, then Demon certainly can too. If you really can't accept this premise, you can skip this part.)

The Yulan Continent was very boring for Jason.

Beirut was too powerful to approach, and the other Lowgod were too weak to pose any challenge. Apart from the Necropolis of the Gods, which still held some appeal for Jason, and a few relatives and friends with whom he could communicate, Jason paid little attention to the outside world. His several avatars on the Yulan Continent were usually in seclusion in the Bloodshadow Valley.

A divine sense at the Saint-level level swept over.

Jason's Water Clone stirred his thoughts. "A soul from the Saint-level, yet able to precisely sense my presence? Are you the Demon Lord of the Luo'ao Empire, or the God of Yellow Sand from the Blazing Sun Desert?"

Jason had never had any contact with these two Deity-level who were spreading their teachings on the Yulan Continent through Projection Clone.

Previously, it was because they were too weak. The opponent could carve out a territory in the Yulan Continent with just their Projection Clone. Their main body must be at least Highgod. Otherwise, their Projection Clone would not have the strength to make the War God and the High Priest wary.

Especially the "Demon Lord" of the Luo'ao Empire. According to some information from the Netherworld, the true Demon Lord's strength is at least at the level of Seven Star Fiend.

The reason Jason isn't making contact now is simply because it's unnecessary. His two avatars have been in the Netherworld for so many years, meeting countless Highgod and even the city lord of Falling Rain City. They have absolutely nothing to talk about with these two from the Yulan Continent.

Especially after the Fate Clone broke through to the Midgod realm, what could a mere Projection Clone of a Highgod possibly do to him?

Jason's thought flashed through his mind in an instant, and the other party's reply came just as quickly.

"It seems your avatar has seen quite a bit in the Netherworld, unlike those Lowgod who are ignorant."

Jason traced the other's spiritual sense in reverse, and could only tell that it was in the south, but could not find the exact location.

"In the south, is that the God of Yellow Sand? He managed to evade my divine sense with just Saint-level- level soul; this guy is incredibly powerful! And the fact that two of my avatars went to the Netherworld is only known to a few people within the Rhine Clan. The War God and the High Priest both believe that all my avatars remain in this plane. Unless, of course, he can detect the whereabouts of all my avatars using only this Saint-level soul—something even most Highgod can't do."

But he wasn't alarmed, because the opponent's energy limit was only at the Saint-level.

Regarding the issue of Projection Clone, Jason had consulted Delisha before. After all, the Demon who tempt humans to fall are very familiar with this kind of thing, and the specific methods are directly engraved in their racial memory.

To create an avatar that transcends dimensions, one can only maintain energy at the Saint-level- level at most.

This is determined by the upper limit of the Projected Clone's soul. Controlling the Projection Clone requires splitting off a wisp of soul, and the souls that can be projected through Spatial Turbulence are generally only at the Saint-level level; any more than that and they will dissipate.

A soul at the Saint-level- level can only maintain elemental energy at the Saint-level- level.

Based on the original plot, Jason speculates that Deity-level or Sovereign with the Will might be able to project even stronger Projection Clone, but Jason cannot determine exactly how strong they are.

"You must be the God of Yellow Sand. May I ask what brings you here?"

"Take a look at the Radiant Temple," the other party said, without directly stating their purpose.

Jason's divine sense spread out.

Inside the Radiant Temple, four Lowgod, led by Dylan, were gathered together. Strangely, the scene perceived by Jason's divine sense was very blurry; he knew this must be the effect of some kind of magic array.

Jason understood perfectly; he had long anticipated this outcome. After all, he was a descendant of Demon, while the other four Deity-level were three humans and one a native divine beast. Whether based on the desire to expel Demon or to seize the Rhine Clan's wealth, they had every reason to target him.

The Radiant Church has clearly realized that it has relocated the Four Ultimate Warrior Clans and is preparing to take a desperate gamble.

"My divine sense can only vaguely perceive the internal situation, as if it is affected by some kind of force. Is this what they rely on to deal with me?"

Jason, with the divine sense of Midgod, should normally have no problem exploring a temple; he had tried before.

Now, Jason's divine sense weakened rapidly after entering the temple, as if diluted by some kind of power. He could only vaguely see the Deity-level emanating strong fluctuations inside, while the other weaker individuals were invisible to Jason because they emitted low fluctuations.

"I thought you'd be in a bigger hurry," the God of Yellow Sand scoffed.

Jason knew what he meant.

When he first discovered that the War God and the others were in Fenlai City, he thought of Monica —but he couldn't find Monica's location in his divine sense!

However, Jason knew that being anxious was useless. Since the God of Yellow Sand had come to him, it meant that Monica was temporarily safe and could be saved.

Jason tried again to use his divine sense to perceive the interior of the temple. "Has Monica been captured, or—"

"It was that Demon who concealed your daughter's location. The reason those four Lowgod dared to attack you this time was because they had that Demon as their backing. They inscribed the projection array on the Radiant Temple, and—that was a true Demon Lord."

The Projected Clone cast across dimensions not only requires the full energy of a Saint-level being to sustain it, but also needs the assistance of a magic array. Once the projection is formed, it cannot stray too far from the magic array.

This is also why the two major papal houses fear the War God and the High Priest. Because the Saint-level cannot detect a Deity-level sneak attack, as long as the magic array is destroyed before the projection is fully formed, the Projected Clone cannot take shape.

Jason could not find the location of the Demon Lord's Projected Clone in his divine sense.

"The Demon Lord can evade my divine sense across dimensions, and this God of Yellow Sand can too? Is he indirectly demonstrating his power? And they seem to have a bad relationship?"

Jason estimated again. "Four Lowgod, a projection of a Seven Star Fiend, and most likely the Radiant Church will also summon a projection. I'm not afraid of them, but I can't rescue Monica on my own."

However, Jason did not show any anxiety. "What reason would that Demon Lord have to deal with me? My strength is no threat to him, and my life or death will not affect his interests."

"Because you won't help that Demon Lord descend, while those four will, at least verbally."

"Demon has descended? Highgod has descended upon Demon? Could those four Lowgod possibly do that?"

Jason had asked Delisha about the Demon's descent: Demon, and even many Deity-level, do indeed possess the means to traverse dimensions.

Its principle seems to have evolved from the principle of dimensional teleportation array combined with the descent of angelic containers. Only by using a massive amount of elemental power as a guide and a powerful body as a container can extradimensional beings descend.

The conditions for this arrival are very strict.

The Abyss and the Material Plane are relatively close, so the requirements for their arrival are lower; however, the cost of bringing beings from the Higher Planes or the Divine Plane here is even higher than using a plane teleportation array!

(As mentioned in the original work, the four Higher Planes and the seven Divine Plane are located in relatively close areas, while the other Material Plane are clustered together and far away from the Higher Planes.)

The arrival of beings below the Deity-level from other dimensions is not uncommon in various Material Plane. The two major churches each have hundreds of angels, so what's a few more beings from other dimensions?

However, to summon the god of the Abyss, it would probably require a Deity-level of equal rank to sacrifice himself—because such a descent not only requires energy but also a powerful vessel, and the best vessel is Deity-level Divine Clone nurtured by Divine Power power.

As for summoning a god from Higher Planes, the price would be terrifyingly high.

"This world is full of variables. Never underestimate anyone, not even a chaotic Demon." The God of Yellow Sand did not directly answer Jason's question.

Jason wasn't sure if the other person was bluffing him. After a moment's thought, he wondered, "Does that Demon Lord have a way to simplify the conditions for his descent?"

Jason took a deep breath. "So, sir, state your terms."

"Help me steal the treasures from the Necropolis of the Gods."

"Fine, don't help if you don't want to. My daughter is waiting for me to save her." Jason stood up.

With no attempt to stop him, Jason had no choice but to stop.

Then the voice of the God of Yellow Sand rang out again. "Beirut is the Sovereign's Emissary. He only has the right to guard the Necropolis of the Gods. As long as you can enter the Necropolis of the Gods, he has no right to interfere with you."

Jason feigned being persuaded, "So what? I'm just a Midgod. The area of Necropolis of the Gods I can reach at most contains Highgod Artifact. With your strength, you wouldn't be interested in these things, would you?"

"You can summon me to descend after you enter the Necropolis of the Gods. Perfect, I even have the vessel for my descent." The God of Yellow Sand was clearly referring to Dylan and his group.

"Damn, you can do that?!" Jason was astonished by his thought process.

However, upon further reflection, Jason's divine power combined with the normal physical strength of the lower-level gods and divine beasts in the Divine Forest was only enough to summon a mid-level god.

"So, you also have a way to lower the conditions for your descent?" Jason was only Midgod.

"You don't need to worry about that; I'll tell you when the time comes. This time, I'll help you save your daughter. As for the matter of descending, as long as I can successfully enter the Necropolis of the Gods, I guarantee your safety and will reward you with a High Godhead."

Jason made a judgment in his mind. "Does he think he can be fearless of Beirut as long as he obtains the Sovereign Artifact? He's probably some kind of dimensional lord; he doesn't dare to come to the Yulan Plane through the regular channels, is he vengeful towards Beirut? The low requirements for his descent mean his hometown is also in Material Plane relatively close to the Yulan Plane?"

At this moment, a divine sense interrupted Jason's communication with the God of Yellow Sand.

"Jason, your daughter is in my hands. Come and die, or I'll kill her!" That was Cesar's voice.
