Jason's three avatars outside the city brought Linley, Monica, and Clear Spring back to the Rhine Empire.
Jason is now planning to purge the "Gorbada prison escapees" within the Rhine Empire.
With Jason's reputation, the Rhine Empire was not greatly affected after a large number of powerful figures fled from Gobadane, but this does not mean that there are no such people living in the country now.
Since the Battle of Fenlai City, the Luo'ao Empire has been completely annexed by the Rhine Empire, and the Blazing Sun Desert, like the Four Way Territories, is under the sphere of influence of the Rhine Empire.
Because many people in these areas have not yet converted to Jason, some Deity-level are preaching in small groups there.
Jason still needs to be put in charge.
The first stop was in the southwest corner of the former Luo'ao Empire, which is adjacent to the Yulan Empire and the Rhine Empire. It used to be a rather chaotic area where the three countries often fought.
"Lord Jason, I am Shelley, originally from the Yulan Continent. This is my hometown from my time in the Saint-level. I am willing to serve you from now on, and I ask that you allow me to guard this place." A female Lowgod with lightning attributes knelt on one knee before Jason to show her loyalty.
"Are you sure you want to pledge allegiance to me? I've heard that the Yulan Empire is currently occupied by a Highgod."
"I have a disagreement with one of Lord Erwin's subordinates—"
Jason glanced at him; Shelley was fairly well-behaved, though he kept a few male lovers and hadn't caused any bloodshed.
"Alright then, from now on you're considered one of my people. Besides this region, I'll also give you a province from the former Luo'ao Empire; it will all be your parish. Now, come with me."
"Thank you, sir."
The second stop was in the eastern region of what was originally the Luo'ao Empire.
A Deity-level being flew out from the castle before them. "I am Jerome, paying my respects to Lord Jason."
Before the other party could react, Jason waved his hand and said, "Kill him."
It was Clear Spring who flew out to fight, because her opponent was also Lowgod of the dark attribute, Clear Spring wanted to take the opportunity to improve herself.
In Jason's consciousness, the castle not far away contained all sorts of beautiful women, some alive and some raped to death.
According to Dylan's description, the size of the Gebados Plane is similar to that of the Yulan Plane, which is very crowded for a large number of Deity-level and Saint-level; and the elemental concentration in the Gebados Plane is very low, which not only makes it difficult for Saint-level to obtain elemental replenishment, but also affects the reproduction of plants and lower animals.
Whether for normal life or cultivation, the Gebados Plane is not a good place.
Jason understood the "revenge spending" mentality of the people from the Gebados Plane after their escape, but he couldn't tolerate indiscriminate killing, especially killing while preaching on his own territory.
This Deity-level Jason didn't even have the intention of subduing.
Seeing that Clear Spring was losing ground, Jason ordered Linley and Monica to join the attack.
All three of them broke through to the Lowgod realm in a very short time; the earliest, Clear Spring, had only been at it for a little over ten years. It's normal that they couldn't defeat each other individually.
Jason brought the three of them along to give them some experience; otherwise, he would have just come as a group with Dylan and Tarosse.
"Lord Jason, I pledge my allegiance to you from this day forward! -- Ah!"
With a scream, Jerome was surrounded and killed.
Jason had previously confirmed that there were only three Lowgod in his area, while the rest were Saint-level.
As Monica flew, she said, "Dad, this last Muba seems like a nice guy; he even visited us before."
Linley, who was standing next to him, nodded in agreement.
Muba did not preach in the Four Way Territories (the Chaotic Territory) in this life, but instead preached in the Blazing Sun Desert, where he is said to have used his Divine Power to create many oases.
Jason remembered Muba from the original story and had a good impression of him. "Oh, I've heard Dylan mention him. They seem to know each other, and Dylan's opinion of him is also quite positive."
The group had already reached the skies above the Blazing Sun Desert.
"Greetings, Lord Jason." The middle-aged man with shoulder-length silver hair, wearing a white robe, and eyes like black jade was Muba.
"A lower -Water Element- Lowgod?" Jason scanned it with his divine sense.
"I have acted rashly by preaching here without your permission, sir. Please forgive me. I am willing to serve you as your servant from now on."
Muba did not make a pact or Overgod Oath; clearly, like Shelley before him, it was just a verbal promise.
However, Jason didn't seem to care much.
"Very well, then the oasis you created within the Blazing Sun Desert now belongs to your faith."
The Blazing Sun Desert was already sparsely populated, with only a few natural oases and endless yellow sand everywhere. Jason's investigation revealed that this was due to the influence of the original "God of Yellow Sand," but he had never had the energy to eliminate these hidden dangers. Since Muba could transform it into an oasis, there was nothing wrong with giving it to him.
"Oh, by the way, there was a foreign Deity-level, the God of Yellow Sand, who preached here before. Remember not to let his faith be rekindled."
"I will keep that in mind."
As for the remaining Saint-level, that's easy to handle; just use divine sense to send them to Bloodshadow Valley.
Perhaps there are some exceptionally talented Saint-level in countless planes who can contend with Deity-level, but clearly there are none in the Yulan Continent plane.
The fifty-seven Peak Saint who escaped from the Gebados Plane gathered in Bloodshadow Valley.
The Saint-level who originally fled from the Gebados Plane was far greater than these, but half of them have already left and are still heading to the Higher Planes and the Divine Plane.
After all, the Saint-level doesn't require faith. You'll get tired of it after a few years on the mainland, and there's nothing to miss.
The parts that remain within the Rhine Empire and the former Luo'ao Empire are clearly scattered Saint-level, and their numbers are relatively small.
Adkins, who controls the O'Brien Empire, Erwin, who controls the Yulan Empire, each have over a hundred Saint-level under their command; it is said that the two major allied regions west of the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts are divided among numerous lower and Midgod, and there are even more Saint-level there.
"Gentlemen, my name is Jason. I won't go into too much detail. Those who wish to remain within the Rhine Empire's borders may stay if they abide by the Rhine Empire's rules; those who wish to leave will not be forced to stay. However, if you remain and continue to commit wanton killings, I will show no leniency."
"So, everyone, please state your opinion."
Without hesitation, the fifty-seven Saint-level knelt down, declaring, "We are willing to pledge our loyalty to the death!"
Jason knew that these Saint-level beings were terrified of the Gebados Plane and feared that Jason was a wolf in sheep's clothing, so they dared not defect to his face.
However, Jason didn't care about this.
"Shelley, Muba, you two keep an eye on them whenever you have time. I'll have other men take over for you after a while."
Jason was referring to O'Brien and the High Priest. Since they had already pledged their allegiance to him, Jason had no intention of being stingy with them. Once they had completed Refine Divine Spark, he would entrust them with some trivial matters.
In Jason's view, Linley, Clear Spring, and Monica all have excellent potential, especially since they have just broken through to the Lowgod and are in a period of rapid improvement in strength. Wasting time on trivial matters would be a crime.
I've been experiencing writer's block lately, and I admit the Linley arc wasn't well-written, as some readers have pointed out. This arc is entirely based on the original story, and there wasn't much to write about. I'll try my best to finish this arc, and then I might take a break from updating for a while.
