Jason went to the Specter Castle every month to check the prices. No one was bidding higher for the short sword, but there were two buyers competing with Jason for the long, thin sword.

Melita has been frequently meeting Jason for dinner and drinks after work these days, and Jason, who hasn't really grasped anything lately, is enjoying his freedom.

A month before the auction for the Bloodflame Saber ended, Jason received bad news while drinking with Melita.

"A Seven Star Fiend bought that slender Bloodflame Saber directly? Is that even possible?" Jason asked in surprise.

"I'm sorry, that was the Lord's order, and I couldn't stop him. I'm sorry." Melita, being a rather serious person, seemed quite apologetic about the matter.

"Oh, it's alright, it's not your fault," Jason said, trying to comfort you.

He actually quite liked the design of that slender sword; he wasn't used to short swords, but since he'd missed out, it was fine to have one.

Melita kept her head down.

Jason hadn't expected Melita, with her Deity-level personality, to be so stubborn, so he tried to change the subject. "By the way, what kind of person is this Lord of the Golden Deer Prefecture?"

Melita blinked and said, "The Queen of the Golden Deer Prefecture Palace is named Natasha. Judging from the way she was talking to the Sovereign, the two seem to be friends."

"Judging from the name, she's a woman? A friend? Could that Sovereign also be a woman?"

"Yes, the Sovereign God calls herself the King of the North the Netherworld, and the Lord of the Golden Deer Prefecture Palace and the Lord of the Northbone Prefecture are both her messengers," Melita said.

Jason had heard of the seven Sovereign of the Netherworld: the Sovereign of Death resided in Netherworld center, four Lower Sovereign were located at the four corners of the Netherworld Continent, and two Mid-level Sovereign divided the surrounding oceans. But this was the first time he had heard of the names of the Sovereign.

Melita stared at Jason for a few seconds and said, "I'm sorry, the Sovereign God does not allow me to bring outsiders to see her without permission."

"Huh? No, I didn't mean that, I was just curious." Jason explained, seeing that Melita had misunderstood. "I'm here to buy a Bloodflame Saber, and I'll probably leave after the final bidding in about a month."

Jason thought for a moment, then continued, "Actually, I also have a mission. There's an adult from the Material Plane as me who recently established a family in the Infernal Realm. He wants me to lead our family to the Infernal Realm to join him as a subordinate family."

"Leave the Netherworld for the Infernal Realm?" Melita was a little surprised. "But dimensional travel is very expensive, isn't it?"

"That sir lent me a Sovereign Token, saying it allows me to teleport for free."

Melita's eyes dimmed slightly. "I see."

"There's no need for this. You've been chosen by the Sovereign. Even if you can't become the Supreme Sovereign's Emissary and obtain the Supreme Sovereign Artifact, getting a Sovereign Token as his Sovereign is no problem. You can come find me in the Infernal Realm then. Oh, the lord I serve is Beirut, the Lord of the Indigo Prefecture on the Blood Peak Continent. He's a near-perfect Paragon expert and also Sovereign's Emissary. Our Rhine Clan will probably settle somewhere on the Blood Peak Continent in the future."

Jason would certainly not be content with being a vassal family in the Indigo Prefecture. Even if Beirut looked down on him and refused to give him the Sovereign Spark, Jason would still seek the position of palace lord once he reached the level of palace lord.

"I will go, after I find my brother! Then I will visit you, as well as Lord Landon and Lord Kasabu." Melita nodded firmly.

Jason's expression hardened, and he pursed his lips. "Um, Kasabu is already dead."

Melita stared blankly for a moment, her eyes dimming. "Is that so? The Netherworld is truly unpredictable."

When the auction ended, Jason returned to the Specter Castle.

"Ninety-two million Inkstone, no problem. Here, take this Bloodflame Saber." Melita handed the short Bloodflame Saber to Jason.

Aside from the two of them, there were only a few onlookers; the other bidders had long since given up on the auction.

The main reason is that the remaining short sword-style Bloodflame Saber is in poor condition. This is a common practice in Blood Blade City: a Bloodflame Saber in excellent condition and a Bloodflame Saber in poor condition are sold together.

Most of the bidders had their eyes on the slender knife, but after it was bought early, they all gave up on the auction. The knife was already quite expensive at 92 million, and Jason was only willing to pay that price because he didn't want to wait any longer.

"Now that the auction is over, I must take my leave," Jason said to Melita with a smile.

Melita frowned. "Wait, Lady Natasha just invited you to come over."

"Now?"

"Um."

Golden Deer Prefecture is considered a relatively prosperous prefecture in the northern part of the Netherworld, and the prefectural lord's residence is located within Blood Blade City.

Jason was led by Melita and flew close to the ground within the mansion for half an hour before arriving. Of course, he didn't fly at full speed, but the area was still quite large.

Seeing a figure through the gauze screen, without confirming it with his divine sense, he directly bowed and said, "Jason Rhein greets Lady Natasha."

"Oh dear, you've prayed to the wrong person, I'm right here." A seductive voice rang out from beside me.

Jason turned his head and saw a voluptuous beauty with a girlish face and a pair of thick, furry ears on either side of her face. It seemed that her true form was some kind of magical beast.

"This is Lady Natasha," Melita introduced, then looked behind the curtain. "This is His Majesty the Sovereign!"

Melita took a moment to recognize her before immediately kneeling down.

"Greetings, Sovereign!" Jason obediently knelt down upon hearing this.

You scared them.

The alluring Lady Natasha giggled as she pushed the sliding screen aside, revealing a girl with long purple hair, a pretty face, and a tall figure. She had no magical beast markings and her cold expression made her unapproachable.

The stern-faced Sovereign spoke, "I heard that people from Beirut came here on business, so I summoned them to take a look."

Jason dared not presume before the Sovereign who cultivated the Edicts of Death, and said very respectfully, "I was ordered by Lord Beirut to escort some old friends from the Material Plane to the Infernal Realm, and I have no intention of offending you."

"You have an avatar in Skyfall City. Could your old acquaintances in Beirut be related to the Bone Dragon Prefecture?" The Sovereign in the form of a young girl remained expressionless, as if talking to herself.

"My two clones were accidentally trapped in Skyfall City; it wasn't intentional." Jason looked up at Natasha, the lord of Golden Deer Prefecture. "My mission this time has absolutely nothing to do with the events at Bone Dragon Prefecture."

Natasha, who had been resting her chin on her hand, wrinkled her nose and asked, "What were you looking at me like that for?"

"I was unexpectedly drawn into a conflict concerning the daughter of the former Bone Dragon Prefecture's former lord, during which three Seven Star Fiend claimed to be from the Golden Deer Prefecture."

Natasha slammed her hand on the table. "Who dares to impersonate me! What do those three guys look like?"

"A woman specializing in the Edicts of Death, a young man specializing in the Edicts of Destruction, and a boy-like figure. They kidnapped a person called Chelsea, who is said to be the daughter of the former lord of the Bone Dragon Prefecture."

The King of the North, the Sovereign, looked at the furious Natasha: "Your people?"

"How could that be! They're just fighting over the manufacturing method of the ' Heavenly Waterfall Pearl,' that stuff is useless to me! Caroline, help me find out which bastard did this!"

"This Sovereign's name is Caroline? It seems the two of them have a good relationship, somewhat like Linley and Bebe," Jason thought to himself, but still kept his head down, not daring to interrupt.

"You can handle this yourself." The Sovereign turned his gaze to Jason again. "Don't be afraid, I just happened to be passing by and had a sudden urge. After all, Beirut is famous throughout various planes as the God-Eater Rat, and I've never seen him before."

Natasha, the lord of Golden Deer Prefecture, asked, "Little one, I've heard that Beirut can God-Eater to forge Divine Spark Weapon, is that true?"

Jason nodded and took out the token with "Beirut" written on it that Beirut had given him, "It's true. I'm quite familiar with Lord Beirut's grandson and have heard about this."

The token flew into the hands of the Sovereign Caroline, and the two examined it carefully for a while.

"Interesting, even better than the Bloodflame Saber forged by your ' Bladed Golden Deer '," the Sovereign joked.

"Hmph, if you're so capable, then don't use it!" Natasha, crossing her arms in dissatisfaction.

"It seems that ' Bladed Golden Deer ' is the name of this Lord Natasha's true form. If there's more than one, and a large number of them, they're probably not divine beasts, but rather exceptionally gifted Saint-level magical beasts?" Jason pondered.

The token was returned.

"Alright, I just had a sudden urge. You may all leave now," said the Sovereign Caroline coldly.

Natasha interjected, "You, you just call them over, say a few words, and then send them on their way." She then produced a slender, blood-red sword engulfed in flames. "I heard you wanted to buy the Bloodflame Saber; this is for you. The little guy's quite interesting."

Jason accepted the Bloodflame Saber without hesitation. "Thank you, sir."

Jason and Melita bid farewell again and left the manor.

"This time it's really time to leave," Jason said to Melita.

"Okay, take care on your journey."
