Jason was surrounded by Veronica and her close friends, and outside was a ring of island Saint-level who, intimidated by Jason's strength, only dared to watch from afar.
"You became a god through Water Element? I thought you became a god through Lightning Element! So you were keeping it a secret from us and raised your Water Element to this level as well." Edward was straightforward; he knew Jason's temperament and didn't cower in front of Deity-level.
"Unexpected, unexpected! I never imagined that such a great battle would bring such a great opportunity. By the way, how long have I been cultivating this time?"
"Twenty-one years." Veronica said with a resentful look.
"So long!" Jason was also surprised.
"Our family has gained another Deity-level, which gives us a much better chance of conquering the Netherworld!" Dante was also present.
Jason sensed the vast Divine Power emanating from his Divine Spark. "Hmm, with my current strength, going to the Netherworld —it's still very dangerous." Jason estimated the strength of Lowgod and recognized a tragic reality.
Ultimately, the problem is that the target is too big. If a Lowgod like myself goes to the Netherworld, I can keep a low profile and nothing will happen. It's not like there's a sharp-eyed Highgod watching me all the time. But if the whole family goes to the Netherworld together, and we don't have the absolute strength to deter troublemakers, then it would be a disgrace to the name "Netherworld" if no one comes looking for trouble.
"I should have a good talk with Lady Delisha in three days. At least we should change the destination. Infernal Realm is better than the Netherworld," Jason thought to himself.
It took Jason more than an hour to see the onlookers off before he returned to his house.
"How does it feel to be at the Deity-level?" Veronica asked.
Clear Spring, Linda, and Ivan were also gathered around.
"There is an additional Divine Clone, but the original body still dominates the thinking. The soul within the Divine Clone is like an additional 'perspective,' the principle of which is unknown."
Upon becoming a god, one's soul power increases, but because the soul is split in two, the strength of each soul is not as strong as one might imagine.
"Divine Power is like a purer form of elemental power. There's a limit to the amount of Divine Power you can absorb at any given time," Jason tried it out. "The speed at which I can extract Divine Power is much slower now than when I was enveloped by the laws. It would take about five days to extract enough Divine Power to shape Divine Body. Hmm... I can store a portion of Divine Power in my Divine Spark, but I don't know the exact upper limit."
Jason took out two Divine Artifact and used them to bind them to his own body with his blood.
The armor materialized on Jason's body. He adjusted its size to fit his body perfectly, then brandished the slender blade, his water-attribute Divine Power flowing freely.
"Not bad." Jason closed his eyes and communicated with the two Divine Artifact.
First up is the dark blue straight knife.
On a snow-capped mountain covered by glaciers, a figure with icicles hanging from his body sits cross-legged, a straight sword stuck in the ground beside him, and the raindrops falling around him freeze upon landing.
"This sword is called ' Ice Rain.' When activated with Divine Power, a layer of ice crystals can cover the user's hands, weakening the transmission of soul attacks." Jason was quite satisfied; although it could only weaken soul attacks, it was still quite practical.
Next came the black scales.
A black sea monster appears in the scene, resembling both a fish and a crocodile. Its jet-black scales make it seem like a ghost in the deep sea. Suddenly, the sea monster transforms into human form, its body covered in the same scales.
"The armor is called ' Black Water,' made from the scales shed by Saint-level magical beast. Judging from its appearance, it's from a magical beast with both water and dark attributes; this armor was crafted by its Water Clone avatar. It doesn't possess the abilities of Divine Artifact, or rather, its ability is that its defense is slightly stronger than that of a typical Midgod Artifact."
"Black Water" is the most common state of Divine Artifact, after all, no matter how fancy the ability is, it can't compare to the outstanding ability of its main function.
"How is it?" The people around him were all at the Saint-level, and they were still able to resist the aura that Jason had just released.
"Two Midgod Artifact, not bad."
"I'm so envious! I want that Divine Artifact too!" Linda pouted.
"I'd rather become a god!" Clear Spring wagged its tail, then shook its head as if making a firm decision.
"What are you thinking about?" Veronica noticed that Jason seemed preoccupied.
"I'm going to Bloodshadow Valley in three days to meet Delisha. I expect to encounter several Violet-Eyed Bladewing Fiend left over from the great war four thousand years ago. I'm trying to figure out how to deal with them."
Veronica's first concern was Jason's safety. "You're their descendant, you shouldn't be in danger, right?"
"Probably not, otherwise Lady Delisha wouldn't have given me these two Divine Artifact." Jason pondered, "I'm thinking about the trip to the Netherworld."
Veronica opened her mouth, but ultimately said nothing.
In reality, neither Veronica nor the three magical beasts beside her understood why Jason was reluctant to go to the Netherworld. Being led to the Netherworld by a powerful Highgod should have been something he would have wanted.
Before that, Jason needs to get used to the Deity-level realm.
On the sea beyond Crescent Island, Jason was getting used to his strength.
"Water-attribute Divine Power can also be added to Lightning Element Profound Mysteries and the Edicts of Death, but the enhancement effect is much smaller. When this body uses Water Element Divine Power, its speed is three times the original; the soul attack of the Edicts of Death is increased by two times."
Furthermore, the defense and attack capabilities of water-attribute characters are enhanced more than tenfold with the blessing of Divine Power.
"The difference between the true self and Divine Clone lies in Divine Power, domain, and physical strength."
"A domain originates from Divine Spark; the laws one comprehends are imprinted within the Divine Spark. By activating the Divine Spark with Divine Power, one can use the Divine Spark as a fulcrum to create a domain. The range of a domain is only related to the god's rank, that is, the rank of the Divine Spark. The domains of a newly ascended Highgod and Seven Star Fiend are the same size; as for the domain's strength and effect, they are related to the laws one comprehends."
"Because the Divine Clone is formed by Divine Power, the Lowgod clone is roughly at the level of Ninth-level Warrior in terms of physical strength alone; while the physical strength of a normal human at the Peak Saint is at most level seven. The bloodline of the Divine Clone is not related to that of the original body, so its physical strength is naturally not affected by the bloodline."
As for the physical strength of the main body, it is not affected by Divine Power. Only Deity-level main bodies with special bloodlines have their bloodlines activated after their realm is improved, thereby increasing their physical strength. Because Jason has the Violet-Eyed Bladewing Fiend Bloodline, the physical strength of his main body has been slightly improved to the peak of level seven. Speaking of which, the Violet-Eyed Bladewing Fiend is not a powerful Demon species, so the improvement is not much.
Jason was still unaware of the strength of the Divine Clone of Midgod and Highgod; if Internal Godhood, his original form would likely need to spend a considerable amount of time using Divine Power to reshape his body to reach the level of a normal Divine Clone.
Jason then merged his main body and the Water Clone, switching between them several times. Finally, he confirmed that when the Water Clone was in the dominant position, if the main body was in the mental sea, the Water Clone could also use Lightning Element and death-related laws—after merging, the main body and the Divine Clone were essentially one person.
While the individual Water Clone can comprehend the laws of Lightning Element and death, it cannot use them, seemingly because the Divine Spark has isolated the soul within the clone from elements outside the Water Element.
In addition, Jason also discovered that his Water Clone had a much stronger perception of the Water Element and was able to comprehend the Water Law much faster than his original self.
It's important to know that Jason's Water Element affinity is high-level, slightly lower than the super-level of Lightning Element affinity.
Jason guessed that it wasn't that his affinity had increased, but rather that the soul of his Water Clone had been fused Divine Spark the Water Element Divine Spark, which contained Water Element Divine Power. It was as if Jason's soul was enveloped in pure Water Element, and even with a low affinity, he could easily perceive the element in such an environment.
The fact that Water Clone cannot use other elemental laws may also be related to the fact that their souls are enveloped by Water Element Divine Power, completely isolating them from other elements.
Having spent a day testing his abilities, Jason plans to spend time with his wife tomorrow.
