Jason traveled from Sea Shark City to Indigo City and learned that the Eight Great Clans had planned an ambush against him and Linley. Beirut sent Pusluo to guard Jason in Moonwheel City while the Sovereigns agreed to let the Four Divine Beasts Clan’s conflict continue until twelve thousand years after Redding’s death, when Beirut and Pash would mediate.
Jason, Linley, and Pusluo faced three patriarchs of the Eight Great Clans near Moonwheel, as Jason prepared to reveal his strength as an Asura and Sovereign's Emissary. The battle began with the patriarchs targeting Linley and Jason, and Ashcroft's soul attack and Wenna's strike left the fight poised to escalate.
Jason and Linley fought Wenna and Ashcroft alongside Pusluo and York Saint-Nair, trading artifacts and using their abilities to withstand the enemies’ attacks. After Linley survived Ashcroft’s Soul Annihilation, Jason exploited Dragon Roar’s lingering effect to kill the Nether Serpent.
After Jason and Linley killed the Nether Serpent Ashcroft, Jason brought his companions to Indigo City, where he learned that Sovereign Freya had agreed to protect him. Freya revealed her interest in Jason and warned him to keep pleasing her if he wanted her protection to last.
Jason returned to the Skyrite Mountains with Linley and was welcomed as a hero by the Four Divine Beasts Clan after the battle against the Nether Serpent. After Bebe married Clear Spring and Jason ended their contract, Jason prepared to consume a Heavenly Waterfall Pearl while the Four Divine Beasts Clan’s conflict with the Eight Great Clans continued.
Jason used the Heavenly Waterfall Pearl to advance his Water Clone, then fought Nolan Edric before Beirut ended the Eight Great Clans’ feud under the Blood Peak Sovereign’s command. As the clans accepted the order to withdraw, Linley became a Highgod during the Sovereign’s appearance.
Jason stayed with the Four Divine Beasts Clan while planning to gather the Nine Spirit Orbs, but Freya’s insistence on traveling with him delayed his plans. After ten years on the road, Freya confronted him about his interest in Tianshan Prefecture, and the group continued there for a discreet visit.
Jason and his companions learned that the Nine Spirit Orbs had appeared in the Ural Mountain Range and discovered that the treasure could grant powerful regenerative abilities. After Haierno scammed Jason out of five million Inkstones for a single page of information, Jason agreed to Freya’s bet: if he gathered all nine orbs, he would trade his research ideas for her technique to strengthen the body with Sovereign’s Might.
Linley and Jason entered the Gebados Plane to find Odin, while Jason secretly asked Beirut to locate the treasure holders in Tianshan Prefecture. After Linley killed Odin’s Wind Clone, Jason recruited several powerful residents of the Gebados Plane and led them back to the Yulan Continent.
Jason pursued the Nine Spirit Orbs in the Infernal Realm and defeated Luomiu in a duel for a fourth orb. After Linley left for the Netherworld, Jason continued gathering orbs while keeping their true nature concealed.
Jason challenged Molder for his Spirit-Nurturing Orbs and killed him with a newly created technique, then took five orbs from Molder’s belongings. A Sovereign took interest in Jason’s technique, but Jason agreed to hand it over as Freya promised to protect his life.
After several Sovereigns gathered to discuss Jason’s technique, he presented his theory that earth, water, fire, and wind formed the foundations of the world and could reveal hidden laws of space and time. He shared his research in hopes that others would seek a way beyond the world, leaving Linley questioning how much of Jason’s theory was true.
Jason shared a recording of his discussion about reincarnation, collected Sovereign's Might, and traveled with his companions to settle his relationship with Delisha and Veronica. Freya gave him a Will-dependent body-strengthening technique and research on the Punishment Angel Bloodline before Jason prepared to release the recording.
Jason managed the White Tiger Continent on Beirut’s behalf while building his own force and investigating Soul Mutation. He rejected prefecture lords’ requests to change the continent’s laws or attend their banquet, leaving White Tiger’s political factions still to be dealt with.
After more than nine hundred years of searching for Heaven and Earth Wonders, Jason tracked a possible Red Caltryp Diamond to the Muya Continent, but the captured bandit’s other clones had escaped. Linley returned after becoming a four-element soul mutant and a Paragon, and Jason urged him to help find the treasure and later visit the Necropolis of the Gods.
Jason and Linley tracked the robber’s clone to Windchime City to retrieve the Red Caltryp Diamond, while Jason suspected that Hongmeng might be steering events. Jason acquired the diamond and left the city with Linley and Bebe, still wary that a Sovereign was watching them.
Jason, Linley, and Bebe faced Sovereign Teresia, who demanded the treasure they had found on the Qingya Continent. Beirut intervened and negotiated a settlement, then brought them back to the Yulan Continent, where Jason kept the treasure’s identity secret.
Jason secluded himself in the Silver Ring Plane’s Planar Prison to use the three Overgod Tokens to attempt a four-element Soul Mutation. He lost consciousness during the attempt, and Deity-level experts across the prison began converging on his location.
Jason faced attacks driven by Hongmeng’s influence as he used the Overgod Tokens to create a four-element soul mutant. After surviving a siege by Sovereigns, he watched his four clones awaken, completing the mutation.
Jason gave the Overgod Token to Linley and discovered that mastering the four Rules had made the Subordinate Universe reject him. Hongmeng offered him a choice, and Jason went to the Main Universe with Veronica and Delisha, where he later reunited with Linley.
