Special Chiffon

Then came the afternoon class: Basic Heroics.

"I am here!"

A loud, booming voice rang out as All Might made his entrance, charging in through the door.

"A very ordinary entrance through the door." All Might grinned.

"It's All Might." Denki Kaminari perked up.

"So amazing, he really is a teacher." Eijiro Kirishima said admiringly.

Tsuyu-chan poked her cheek. "That's an outfit from the Silver Age of American comics."

"The difference in art style is way too big. I'm getting goosebumps," Koji Koda said awkwardly.

All Might seemed unconcerned by the chatter below. After walking onto the podium, he said, "The class I'm in charge of is Basic Heroics. This course involves all kinds of training to build the foundations of a hero, and it's worth the most credits."

"Without further ado, today's lesson is this: combat training!" All Might declared with a wave of his hand.

"Combat!" Bakugo Katsuki immediately became excited.

"And this comes with it. Look over here." All Might waved a hand toward the wall on the right.

Cracks appeared in the wall, and rows of shelves slid out horizontally. Boxes marked with numbers sat on the shelves.

"Combat uniforms custom-made according to the Quirk reports and requirements you submitted before enrollment."

"Yeah!" Everyone shouted excitedly. It sounded way too cool.

After changing, everyone gathered at Training Ground B. Chiffon remembered there was supposed to be music playing during this part, with everyone gradually emerging from the dimly lit area. Chiffon's custom uniform looked rather stylish. It was a suit designed by the school to store Lightning, allowing him to greatly enhance his own lightning output.

That would let him perform beyond his usual limits, making it far more effective against enemies.

When everyone emerged, they all looked uniformly cool, their faces brimming with confidence.

"Appearance is important too, boys and girls. Starting today, you must have the awareness of heroes!" All Might declared loudly beneath the sunlight.

Looking at the students, All Might said with a smile, "Not bad. You all look great."

"Alright, let's begin, fertilized eggs."

The clothing costs were waived. As long as students submitted their Quirk reports, physical information, and design requirements before entering U.A. High School, one of the school's sponsored companies would provide them with cutting-edge costumes. It was an incredibly wonderful system.

Chiffon's outfit was dark blue from head to toe, like a deep ocean. There was a metal device over his ears and a metal pack on his back, used to store Lightning so he could unleash its power at critical moments.

Chiffon turned his head and looked over. Izuku's outfit was honestly rather funny, though also a little cute. He was currently chatting with Ochaco Uraraka, while Mineta Minoru beside them stared blankly at Ochaco Uraraka with wide eyes before blurting out, "The Hero Course is the best."

"Grape, you should leave the group," Chiffon said with a laugh. He found the joke quite funny.

"Leave the group? What group?" Mineta Minoru asked in confusion.

Chiffon did not bother with him anymore. This little grape would probably come to hate him in the future. After all, Chiffon was no saint himself. He still could not resist these cute female classmates. In his previous life, he had died at the hands of women, so he should have been more rational in this life.

But he knew this world and these classmates would not lead to the same situation as his previous life. Maybe that was because of character settings.

Then again, maybe those character settings could collapse. After all, this world was completely real now, not fictional.

Next came combat training. Chiffon knew he would have to compete against his classmates, but there was no suspense. With the current strength of these students, aside from troublesome opponents like Bakugo Katsuki, Shoto Todoroki, Fumikage Tokoyami, Eijiro Kirishima, Tenya Iida, and Momo Yaoyorozu—

None of the other students could face his Lightning head-on. Denki Kaminari might be able to contend with his Lightning somewhat, but electricity ultimately could not compare to thunder. One was a natural law, the Power of Thunder; the other was merely electrical power. The gap between them was enormous.

Even the Power of Thunder came in different grades. Chiffon did not know what level his Thunder God's Arrival was, but it was definitely not low.

There had originally been twenty people. With Chiffon included, that made twenty-one, meaning one person would have to sit out and teams could not be formed evenly.

They could have three people defend as a group, or two people attack a group of three. But whichever team had Chiffon would undoubtedly need stronger opponents assigned against it.

Otherwise, given Chiffon's strength, two ordinary people simply could not stop him.

This was also something the teachers had considered. They had long analyzed Chiffon's Quirk and determined that it was an extremely terrifying Thunder Quirk. This type of Quirk could suppress elemental Quirks. In short, among elemental Quirks, the Lightning Attribute was practically a symbol of the pyramid's peak.

"Teacher!" Tenya Iida suddenly raised his hand.

Everyone looked at the person wrapped in silver armor before recognizing him as Tenya Iida. He did indeed look very handsome.

"This is the training ground from the entrance exam. Are we going to conduct another mock urban-area exercise?" Tenya Iida asked.

"No, this time we're going two floors higher." All Might raised one hand and held up two fingers. "Although most of the villains we see being taken down operate outdoors, statistics show that the probability of vicious villains appearing indoors is even higher."

"Imprisonment, house arrest, underground dealings—in this hero-saturated society..." All Might coughed twice before continuing, "In short, all truly cunning villains hide in the darkness. Next, you will be divided into villain teams and hero teams for indoor two-on-two battles."

At this point, All Might glanced at Chiffon and said, "Student Chiffon will join one team, making it a group of three. Naturally, the students facing him must also be among the strongest, those who ranked near the top in the exam."

"Tch, why does Chiffon get to join someone else's team alone? Why not me?" Bakugo Katsuki said indignantly. Wouldn't that make it seem like Chiffon was stronger than him?

The other students also looked toward Chiffon. This classmate seemed rather special.

What they did not know was that Chiffon had not originally been meant to be in Hero Class A. After all, a class had twenty people, and adding one more made things difficult to arrange. But after discussion among the teachers, they had allowed Chiffon to remain.

"Chiffon, it seems the teachers think very highly of you," Tenya Iida said somewhat enviously. Chiffon was special, after all.

"Chiffon, want to join my team?" Denki Kaminari immediately came over. A Lightning combo would be invincible—wahahaha.

"No, thanks." Chiffon declined politely. Denki Kaminari helplessly stepped back a few paces, but then Chiffon added, "Unless you get Momo Yaoyorozu to join the team. Then I might consider it."

Denki Kaminari sometimes became temporarily stupid after overusing his electricity, but that did not mean he was always stupid. The moment Chiffon said that, he understood. So this arrogant Chiffon liked girls like Momo Yaoyorozu. He got it.

"No problem. Leave it to me." Denki Kaminari immediately went to discuss it with Momo Yaoyorozu.
