All Might began explaining the rules.

The scenario was that the villains had hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their stronghold, and the heroes had to eliminate the threat. The heroes had to either capture the villains or successfully recover the nuclear weapon within the allotted time.

The villains, meanwhile, had to protect the nuclear weapon or capture the heroes within the allotted time.

"Chiffon, you may choose two partners and begin immediately, provided they agree." All Might looked at Chiffon. Though he was Midoriya Izuku's teacher, mentor, and inheritor, he also cared deeply about Chiffon.

Some of the other students might think Chiffon was being treated specially, but there was nothing they could do about it. After all, Chiffon had been personally selected by the principal to join Hero Class A.

The twenty students had basically been assigned into teams of two. With Chiffon left over, he naturally formed a team of three.

Tch. I'm definitely going to blow him to pieces! Bakugo Katsuki was unwilling to accept it. Why did Chiffon get special treatment? When it came to people like that, he generally used special methods.

Shoto Todoroki, standing nearby, showed no expression. He merely stared at Chiffon for a few seconds, already forming a plan.

"I choose Denki Kaminari and Momo Yaoyorozu," Chiffon said calmly. He had promised Denki Kaminari, and he would not go back on his word.

Izuku was slightly disappointed. He had thought Chiffon would choose him, but instead, he had chosen Denki Kaminari and Momo Yaoyorozu.

Tsuyu-chan stood at the back of the crowd and glanced at Chiffon. She knew Chiffon considered her a friend, so naturally, she would support her friend's choice.

Momo Yaoyorozu seemed to have already known. She stepped out of the crowd and stood beside Chiffon, while Denki Kaminari walked over with a cheerful grin. He was reliable when it came to handling matters. When he had told Momo Yaoyorozu that Chiffon wanted her to join the team, she had only thought about it briefly before agreeing.

Denki Kaminari did not think much of it. They were all classmates, after all. Maybe Chiffon wanted to make use of Momo Yaoyorozu's Quirk; who could say?

If Chiffon knew what Denki Kaminari was thinking, he would definitely explain. Sorry, I just want to court her, that's all. I just want more chances to spend time with her.

"Then let's get started quickly. The first team will be Chiffon's team on defense. Does anyone want to challenge them?" All Might said with a smile, sweeping his gaze over the crowd.

"I will!" Bakugo Katsuki shouted, taking several steps forward.

Shoto Todoroki said nothing, but his actions left no room for doubt. He also stepped forward and stood beside Bakugo Katsuki.

"Half-and-half bastard, I'm enough on my own. What are you butting in for?" Bakugo Katsuki said irritably. He wanted to challenge Chiffon's entire team by himself.

Shoto Todoroki did not reply, appearing exceptionally calm.

Bakugo Katsuki gritted his teeth. "Who are you trying to impress? Every last one of you is so damn irritating!"

"Good. Since Bakugo and Todoroki are willing to challenge Chiffon's team, it's decided. Let's begin now." All Might waved a large hand, looking rather excited. "Chiffon, take your teammates upstairs, find the stronghold, and protect the nuclear bomb."

The three of them immediately entered the building. The building had been modified, its walls and floors extremely sturdy. There were also many hidden walls, making it like a maze that blocked sightlines and made ambushes easier.

"Is this for real? These two teams are way too strong," Hanta Sero said speechlessly.

"Indeed. Both teams are very strong." Fumikage Tokoyami folded his arms, looking understated and composed.

Shoji Mezo said, "These may be the two strongest teams among all of us. This is the main event."

"I don't think Chiffon is a good person," Mineta Minoru suddenly said.

Several people looked at Mineta Minoru and asked, "Why?"

"Because he chose to be with Momo Yaoyorozu," Mineta Minoru blurted out, waving his tiny hand.

Everyone else immediately rolled their eyes and lost interest in what Mineta Minoru had to say. This guy seemed rather indecent; his attention was always on the female students.

"Hey, don't drag me down." Bakugo Katsuki snorted and entered first. Shoto Todoroki looked upstairs, seemingly deep in thought.

"Then the match officially begins!" All Might roared, announcing the start of the match.

At the top of the building.

"You two stay here and watch the nuclear bomb. Yao-yorozu-chan, can you make me a heater? A small one will do." Chiffon had arranged for the two of them to stay here because he was worried one of the opponents might break in first, and they needed to be prepared.

He might not be a match for Bakugo Katsuki and Shoto Todoroki in a one-on-two fight, but Chiffon absolutely believed that, at this stage, his strength was enough that he did not need to fear either of their Quirks.

For some time now, he had been experimenting to confirm one thing: using his Thunder Quirk to mimic skills.

What did Skill Mimicry mean?

It meant that among the anime characters Chiffon had watched in his previous life, there were some who could control lightning or possessed lightning-related abilities.

The people of this world knew nothing of other parallel worlds or worlds in other dimensions, nor did they know of those so-called characters. Only Chiffon knew about them.

But putting it into practice was not so easy. Those anime characters' abilities had either been self-created or passed down through inheritance. He could imitate their form, but not their essence.

Unless he witnessed those characters unleash their skills with his own eyes, he could only keep imitating the form without grasping the essence.

There was one exception: Thunder God's Arrival belonged solely to him, so he could comprehend his own finishing moves without worrying about any of that.

"You mean the two of us should guard this place while you face both of them?" Momo Yaoyorozu asked incredulously. Their opponents were Bakugo Katsuki and Shoto Todoroki, after all.

"You don't need to worry about that. Even if I can't handle both of them, I can still take down one. Hurry up—Shoto Todoroki has already made his move." Chiffon felt the surroundings growing colder. Shoto Todoroki seemed intent on freezing the entire building.

Momo Yaoyorozu no longer hesitated and immediately created a small heater for Chiffon that could be attached to his combat suit.

"You two stay alert. I'm going ahead." After opening the door, Chiffon headed down the only path.

There was only one route the opponents could take to breach this final line of defense, and he only needed to hold that one route.

There was only one entrance on each floor, making it a necessary passage. Since the two of them had not yet reached the upper floors, he still had time.

"Who told you to use your Quirk?" Bakugo Katsuki said angrily. The air temperature here had immediately dropped, making it inconvenient for him to move.

Shoto Todoroki merely said flatly, "If you think it's troublesome or can't work with me, you can act on your own. You can leave too."

"Huh?" Bakugo Katsuki bared his teeth. "You want to fight me first?"

Shoto Todoroki glanced at Bakugo Katsuki, ignored him, and ran straight toward the second floor.

"Damn it!" Bakugo Katsuki was now annoyed with Shoto Todoroki as well. Every one of them acted so cool and aloof, and their holier-than-thou attitude made him sick.
