Arc 22Revenge and Hidden Futures

Su Wen and the Theater God revisited Sub-Space-Time No. 02, where Su Wen avenged his murdered loved ones and the Theater God received an earlier epoch's inheritance. Back in the Main Space-Time, Su Wen learned that the Star God had calculated his disappearance after victory and gained protected offices that could serve as refuges.

  • Su Wen and the Theater God entered Sub-Space-Time No. 02 to investigate Wind God's killing of Li Dong and gather battlefield materials for Huaxia's preparations against the Arrow Realm.
  • Wind God explained that he had mistaken Su Wen for an impostor, and Su Wen learned that wartime policy had also punished Li Dong's family.
  • Su Wen learned that the Arrow Realm had assassinated and cursed his family and friends, then exterminated every Arrow Realm race except those of the Insect Spirit Realm.
  • The Theater God met Diwu Pengcheng and received abilities, cultivation experience, methods for restraining the Theater Dao Guardians, and locations of hidden caches.
  • Su Wen investigated resurrection costs and left Sub-Space-Time No. 02 with the Theater God, while the Shadow God's resources proved sufficient to resurrect Mo Caixia.
  • Su Wen activated the Star God's recorded projection and learned that his calculations predicted the universe's victory but Su Wen's absence from the distant future.
  • Su Wen suspected the Will of the Universe might threaten him and his comrades after the war, while the Star God's projection urged caution.
  • Sycee secured a protected sanctuary in the God of Wealth's office, and Luobao explained that the River of Fate's alterations could also make the Martial God's office a refuge.
Chapters 526–550 Vol. 6 Read

Ch. 526A Slight Discrepancy

Su Wen explained to the Star God how the Remnant Clan corrupted people and warned that weaker, rational individuals were most vulnerable. He then cleared up the Theater God’s misunderstanding about Su Wen opposing the Space-Time Maintainer, leaving the Star God stunned by the real situation.

  • Su Wen told the Star God that the Remnant Clan corrupted people by contaminating their rationality, especially targeting weaker, intelligent individuals.
  • The Star God opened a spatial rift and left the Demon Spirit Realm with Su Wen, who had gathered nearly all of its resources to obtain Wealth Sources.
  • The Star God asked Su Wen about the organization he supposedly joined against the Space-Time Maintainer, based on what the Theater God and Wind God had heard.
  • Su Wen realized the Theater God had misinterpreted his curses and explained that the situation was different from what the Star God had been told.
  • The Star God listened to Su Wen’s explanation and reacted with bewilderment and shock.

Ch. 527Everything Is Different Now!

The Star God encouraged Su Wen by pointing out that the Ninth Epoch had powerful allies, while arguing that Su Wen could profit from the rivalry between the River of Space-Time and the River of Fate. Su Wen remained wary of the Remnant Clan, but the Star God was convinced that the future had changed for the better.

  • The Star God said the Space-Time Maintainer and Fate Maintainer supported their side, and urged Su Wen to rely on their connections and keep working to earn money.
  • Su Wen told the Star God about the River of Space-Time’s tricks and deception, especially before the River of Fate appeared.
  • The Star God reasoned that Su Wen’s business in the Sub-Space-Times let him profit from resources created by the Space-Time Maintainer, while the Fate Maintainer could benefit from the resulting transactions.
  • The Star God argued that even insults or mistreatment would be worth enduring if they helped their home and friends, and Su Wen laughed at his point.
  • Su Wen admitted he still feared the Remnant Clan’s strength on the Frontier Battlefield, but the Star God declared that the future would be bright because everything was different now.

Ch. 528The God of Wealth's Unique Way of Amusing Himself

Star God questioned Su Wen about how he relaxed, prompting them both to realize they had no ordinary hobbies and leaving Su Wen to embrace tormenting powerful enemies as entertainment. Meanwhile, Huaxia and its allies rapidly advanced their development, creating the central intelligent brain Star Spirit.

  • Star God explained that Theater God’s misunderstanding had inspired him, Wind God, Shadow God, and Battle God to work harder or pursue their goals, so Su Wen should let it stand for now.
  • Star God asked Su Wen what he did for fun, and Su Wen challenged her about having no hobbies of her own.
  • Su Wen realized that slapping the Remnant Clan’s higher-ups and cursing the River of Space-Time had lifted his spirits, and he considered finding similar ways to torment enemies.
  • By May 15, 2023, Huaxia and the embryonic Human Alliance had made rapid progress by incorporating future technology.
  • Star God helped develop the Star Grand Array’s intelligent brain, Star Spirit, and reassured Battle God that the gods could erase it if it ever threatened humanity.

Ch. 529The God of Wealth's Addition

Su Wen and the Immortal Demigods prepared to wage war against Arrow Realm, while Su Wen proposed training the army in Theater God's Theatrical Phenomena World. He and Theater God planned to return to Sub-Space-Time No. 02, where they would gather battlefield details and investigate Little Wind's actions.

  • Su Wen infused Star Spirit with Wealth Source to encourage her innate inclination toward the God of Wealth, while Star God made additional arrangements of his own.
  • Star God and Theater God led the Immortal Demigods in agreeing that Huaxia was ready to fight Arrow Realm and that the troops needed combat experience.
  • Su Wen suggested that Theater God simulate Arrow Realm battles in the Theatrical Phenomena World and proposed that they gather more battlefield materials in Sub-Space-Time No. 02.
  • Su Wen told Theater God to stabilize the Sub-Space-Time, strengthen its forces, and reproduce the Arrow Realm battlefields, while refusing Battle God's request to join the trip.
  • Su Wen said Star God could not go either and asked Theater God to investigate why Little Wind had killed a Martial Dao Library official in that Sub-Space-Time.

Ch. 530Soon

Su Wen and Theater God prepared to enter a future Sub-Space-Time, while the others discussed how they might travel there. The chapter ended with Battle God learning that he could not go because he would never die in a Sub-Space-Time.

  • Theater God explained how he had inferred Su Wen’s aversion to Wind God during their first meeting, and Su Wen clarified that he knew more about the future than the others did.
  • Star God suggested that Wind God’s past actions in the Arrow Realm explained why he had killed someone after encountering Su Wen.
  • Su Wen and Theater God recorded Mo Xiao Su’s circumstances and abilities before entering a Sub-Space-Time together.
  • Wind God wondered when he would get to visit a Sub-Space-Time, and Star God told him his turn would come soon.
  • Star God told Battle God that he could never visit a Sub-Space-Time because the Remnant Clan would not let him die, then reminded him that in several Sub-Space-Times everyone except him had died.

Ch. 531Two Friends from Afar

Su Wen and the Theater God returned to Sub-Space-Time No. 02 and went to the Jiang City Martial Dao Library to meet the Star God. There, Little Wind appeared and recognized the Theater God as his grandfather.

  • Su Wen and the Theater God arrived at the Jiang City Martial Dao Library, where Su Wen explained that Little Wind’s actions had frightened him into returning earlier.
  • Su Wen contacted the Star God through the Star Grand Array and invited him to meet them at the library.
  • The Star God recognized Su Wen as the God of Wealth, declined their offer to help at the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield, and agreed to come meet them.
  • Su Wen and the Theater God entered the library and stirred the hidden wisp of wind Little Wind had left there.
  • Little Wind manifested from the wind, questioned whether Su Wen was really the God of Wealth, then recognized the Theater God as his grandfather.

Ch. 532The Power of a Single Palm Strike

Theater God proved his identity to Wind God by killing the Giant Ghost Realm's Earth Deity, then revealed his Immortal Demigod strength and wiped out the Others attacking two battlefields. Star God welcomed Su Wen and Theater God, learned how powerful the Main Space-Time had become, and asked to hear more about its connection to their world.

  • Theater God recognized that Wind God distrusted him and dragged the Giant Ghost Realm's Earth Deity through shattered space, killing him to prove who he was.
  • Star God arrived at the Martial Dao Library and welcomed Su Wen and Theater God despite Wind God's doubts.
  • Theater God used a distant strike to kill every Other attacking the East Sea Battlefield and the Demon Capital Battlefield, and Wind God agreed to come to him.
  • Theater God said he had reached Immortal Demigod, and Su Wen explained that the Main Space-Time's Star God had reached that level long ago.
  • Star God asked Su Wen to explain the Main Space-Time's connection to their space-time and tell him more about it.

Ch. 533The God of Wealth's Trust

Su Wen learned why Wind God killed Li Dong and explained how that incident made him distrust others across multiple Sub-Space-Times. Wind God regretted his actions, while Theater God warned that they had nearly lost the God of Wealth’s trust in the Main Space-Time.

  • Theater God scolded Wind God for frightening Su Wen away and prepared his old disciplinary stick, but Su Wen stopped him.
  • Wind God explained that he killed Li Dong after receiving a report that an alien impostor posing as the God of Wealth had entered the Martial Dao Library.
  • Star God said Wind God had suspected Li Dong because his intentions and mental fluctuations seemed abnormal, while Su Wen clarified that he had not yet met Wind God in that Sub-Space-Time.
  • Su Wen said Li Dong appeared innocent in the other Sub-Space-Times and asked Wind God to treat Li Dong’s family well, but Star God revealed that wartime policy had already punished them.
  • Wind God regretted his actions, and Su Wen explained that in another Sub-Space-Time he had suspected Wind God of being a traitor, leading Battle God to kill him.
  • Theater God realized Wind God’s actions had nearly cost the Main Space-Time the God of Wealth’s trust and support.

Ch. 534Not the Last Time

Su Wen reassured the Star God, explained the epochs and his experiences across Sub-Space-Times, and began restoring the battered battlefields while sharing Main Space-Time’s advanced Martial Dao. He left the Star God with hope that the Main Space-Time would aid them again, and that he was no longer alone on the Space-Time Battlefield.

  • Su Wen told the Star God about the epochs, the Incumbent True God, and hidden resources left by the Eighth Epoch Star God.
  • The Theater God took the Wind God away to discuss matters with him, while Su Wen offered to try to revive Li Dong and his family.
  • The Star God asked about earning Su Wen’s trust in another Sub-Space-Time, and Su Wen described how that version of the Star God died proving his innocence.
  • Su Wen recounted his experiences across Sub-Space-Times and passed on Main Space-Time’s Emperor Rank Limit Martial Dao.
  • Su Wen used his power to flatten the Jiang City, Imperial Capital, Guangshen, and Northwest Frontier battlefields, shocking the Star God with the revelation that the Arrow Realm had once served the God of Wealth.
  • Standing alone above the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield, Su Wen told the Star God that the Main Space-Time’s aid might not be its last and that he now had comrades on the Space-Time Battlefield.

Ch. 535Star God's Apology

Su Wen used the God of Wealth’s authority to force the Arrow Realm beings to kneel and ordered Star God’s forces to withdraw. Star God revealed that Su Wen’s family and friends had been targeted after his death, leaving Su Wen enraged and warning everyone to leave the battlefield.

  • Su Wen asked Star God whether he wanted to keep the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield, and Star God declined.
  • Su Wen commanded the Arrow Realm beings to kneel, and even their Emperor Rank Limit experts obeyed.
  • Star God ordered Huaxia’s forces to retreat, while Su Wen commanded the Arrow Realm beings to gather everything they could from their clans.
  • Su Wen asked Star God why he had once shouted Su Wen’s name, and Star God apologized for failing to protect Su Wen’s family and friends after a traitor exposed his real name.
  • Su Wen realized that his loved ones had been assassinated and cursed in this Sub-Space-Time, grew furious, and told his people to leave because the battlefield would no longer be safe.

Ch. 536No One Is Innocent

After learning that the Arrow Realm races had killed his family and friends in this space-time, Su Wen unleashed his full power and began destroying their realms. As the Star God arranged for Huaxia to inherit Martial Dao, Su Wen’s revenge spread to the Demigod races, leaving him attacking their clan realms.

  • Su Wen refused to ask which Arrow Realm race had killed his family and friends, then charged across the Mountain and Sea Main Battlefield in his berserk form.
  • Su Wen slaughtered the battlefield’s remaining fighters and smashed through Arrow Realm portals, destroying realms and killing their inhabitants.
  • The Theater God learned from the Star God why Su Wen had gone on a rampage and urged the Star God to pass down the Main Space-Time’s Martial Dao.
  • The Star God organized Huaxia’s Martial Dao inheritance while Su Wen annihilated the powerful Demon Prison Clan forces that tried to surround him.
  • The Holy Spirit Clan’s Demigod squad came to retrieve Su Wen, but he killed them and slaughtered the clan.
  • Su Wen concluded that every Arrow Realm race had been complicit in the killings and charged into the Demigod clan realms with his longsword.

Ch. 537The Empathy of Two Rivers

After avenging his parents in Sub-Space-Time No. 02, Su Wen learned that the River of Space-Time and the River of Fate had helped him remain there. The River of Space-Time's gift transported the Theater God to a mysterious region to receive an unknown predecessor's inheritance, while Su Wen prepared to return.

  • Su Wen told the Theater God he had wiped out every race in the Arrow Realm except those of the Insect Spirit Realm and had avenged his parents.
  • The River of Fate and the River of Space-Time each claimed credit for helping Su Wen stay in Sub-Space-Time No. 02 long enough to complete his revenge.
  • Su Wen placed 666 Wealth Source in the Treasure Bowl, and a gray wisp struck the Theater God and transported him away.
  • The Narrator told Su Wen that the Theater God was receiving a predecessor's inheritance, but Su Wen refused to pay twelve million Wealth Source to learn more.
  • Su Wen refined the corpses around him and prepared to return as the Theater God appeared in a boundless space-time region.
  • An old man wearing a farmer's hat appeared atop a yellow ox and hummed in the same region as the Theater God.

Ch. 538Everyone Has It Rough

The Ninth Epoch Theater God met Diwu Pengcheng, the Theater God of the Eighth Epoch, and told him about the Theater God Legion's betrayal and the Ninth Epoch's hardships. Diwu Pengcheng promised to investigate and provide support, then wondered why the Remnant Clan had repeatedly targeted Theater Gods and their families.

  • Diwu Pengcheng introduced himself as the Eighth Epoch Theater God and learned that Ye Guanzhi and other high-ranking members had defected to the Remnant Clan.
  • Diwu Pengcheng promised to investigate the Theater God Legion's betrayal and offered to prepare Theater Dao Guardians, but the Ninth Epoch Theater God told him those guardians had tried to kill him.
  • The Ninth Epoch Theater God described the Ninth Epoch's troubled beginnings and explained that he had not received the complete Theater God inheritance.
  • Diwu Pengcheng learned that the Star God had visited the mysterious space and promised to prepare resources unique to the Theater God.
  • Diwu Pengcheng asked whether the Ninth Epoch Theater God's loved ones and family bloodline had survived, then said the Remnant Clan had slaughtered his own family and asked why Theater Gods were targeted.
  • The Ninth Epoch Theater God considered the suffering inflicted on the God of Wealth, Battle God, Little Wind, Xiao Ying, and others, while the Star God concealed information about himself and founded an organization to protect Divine Mandate Bearers and their families.

Ch. 539Like Twins

Diwu Pengcheng rejected the idea that the Theater God Legion had betrayed the universe because of him and explained that the Eighth Epoch’s God of Fate had a hidden, more powerful self that emerged after the recognized self died. He advised protecting the Ninth Epoch’s half-awakened God of Fate, then asked Theater God if he could obtain an Eighth Epoch Star God memory inheritance.

  • Theater God suspected Diwu Pengcheng’s actions had led Ye Guanzhi and the Theater God Legion’s upper ranks to betray the universe, but Diwu Pengcheng argued that his hatred of the Remnant Clan made such a betrayal unlikely.
  • Diwu Pengcheng asked whether the Ninth Epoch’s God of Fate was the real God of Fate and explained that the Eighth Epoch’s recognized God of Fate had been only half-awakened, with a hidden self that emerged after his death.
  • Diwu Pengcheng described how the hidden God of Fate might wait for a powerful killer to leave before revealing himself and taking revenge.
  • Theater God concluded that they should keep the current half-awakened God of Fate alive unless circumstances forced them to summon the real one, and Diwu Pengcheng agreed.
  • Theater God asked Diwu Pengcheng if he could obtain an Eighth Epoch Star God memory inheritance for him.

Ch. 540What I Did Was Give Everyone a Cheat

Diwu Pengcheng warned the Theater God about the risks of inheriting his memories, then began passing on his abilities and contingency plans. Elsewhere, Su Wen explained that the Battle God’s counterpart was falling behind because everyone else had received a cheat, before the Star God asked whether the Main Space-Time group could enter the next Sub-Space-Time.

  • Diwu Pengcheng cautioned the Theater God that inheriting his memories could alter his identity, but agreed to pass on useful abilities, cultivation experience, and methods for restraining the Theater Dao Guardians.
  • Diwu Pengcheng told the Theater God to deal with traitors as he saw fit, spare loyal Guardians prejudice, and search several star veins for hidden contingency caches.
  • Su Wen told the Battle God that his Main Space-Time counterpart was the weakest because Su Wen had helped everyone else overcome gaps in their Dao comprehension.
  • The Battle God wondered whether he would always rank last, and the Star God argued that this meant the Main Space-Time was safe enough not to need him.
  • The Star God asked whether the Main Space-Time group could enter the next Sub-Space-Time, where Huaxia had fallen into chaos; Su Wen said they probably could and asked whether the Star God had a plan.

Ch. 541The Star God's Cuisine

Su Wen and the Star God suspected that the Dark Age in Sub-Space-Time 03 was tied to the Battle God’s survival rather than the fall of the East Sea Defense Line. After the Theater God reported that Xiao Su remained unstable, he went to bring back a wisp of Xiao Su’s soul, while the Star God invited everyone to try his cooking.

  • The Star God and Su Wen reasoned that the Remnant Clan’s influence and the Dark Age might be connected to the Battle God’s death, leaving the Battle God confused by their brief exchanges.
  • The Theater God arrived looking unusually world-weary, then changed his appearance and voice to seem younger.
  • The Theater God reported that Xiao Su’s mental state was much like it had been in the previous Sub-Space-Time.
  • Su Wen asked the Theater God to bring back a wisp of Xiao Su’s soul, and the Theater God sent an incarnation to do so.
  • The Star God invited Su Wen and the others to sit down for a meal, saying he had researched cuisine.

Ch. 542Starting at a Trillion

Su Wen asked the River of Space-Time about resurrecting people in Sub-Space-Time No. 02 and learned that ordinary people could be revived for relatively little Wealth Source, while the Theater God cost 15 million. The river priced the local God of Wealth’s resurrection at seven trillion Wealth Source, leaving Su Wen astonished by how sharply the cost rose with cultivation rank.

  • Su Wen learned that resurrecting Li Dong’s family would cost 24,000 Wealth Source through a family package.
  • Su Wen asked the River of Space-Time to calculate the resurrection costs for himself and others in this space-time.
  • The River of Space-Time quoted 15 million Wealth Source to resurrect the Theater God and offered to erase turbulence caused by reviving the local God of Wealth after Su Wen left.
  • The River of Space-Time assessed the local God of Wealth at Heavenly Mandate Bearer fifth rank and Martial Dao first rank, setting his resurrection price at seven trillion Wealth Source.
  • Su Wen concluded that resurrection could cost him tens of trillions as his cultivation advanced and thought the New Year’s gift from the River of Fate was especially valuable.

Ch. 543A Different Kind of Ascension for Chickens and Dogs

Su Wen compared resurrection costs and offered to help the Shadow God see her mother, explaining that her counterpart in another space-time had already paid the price. The Shadow God set off to gather treasures for the resurrection, while Su Wen and the others discussed threats and their hopes of reaching the God King Realm.

  • Su Wen learned that resurrecting his family and friends would cost far more than he expected, while the River of Fate offered his own family resurrection package for ten billion Wealth Source.
  • The Theater God's clone and the Shadow God appeared, and the Shadow God asked Su Wen to help her see her late mother.
  • Su Wen said the Shadow God owed him nothing because her counterpart's bond with Xiao Su was payment enough, and offered to help her meet her mother in both space-times.
  • After learning that resurrecting her mother required heavenly treasures, the Shadow God left to seek resources from the Arrow Realm's remaining groups.
  • The Theater God worried about the Shadow God's fate in another space-time, and Su Wen described the hardships facing the others there.
  • The Battle God speculated about baiting out a Remnant Clan trump card, but Su Wen said they were too weak to detect it and hoped they would all reach the God King Realm.

Ch. 544The God of Wealth and Your Doing

Su Wen and the Theater God left Sub-Space-Time No. 02, and the Theater God was resurrected there through their actions before returning to the Main Space-Time. Su Wen reflected on the deaths of his counterpart’s family and friends, then hurried to his office when a life-saving crystal began to tremble.

  • Su Wen and the Theater God left Sub-Space-Time No. 02 without resurrecting Su Wen’s counterpart, while the Shadow God’s delivered Wealth Source was enough to resurrect Mo Caixia.
  • The Theater God appeared at Huaxia’s border, where the Star God welcomed him back and explained that the God of Wealth and the Theater God had brought about his return.
  • The Theater God returned to the Main Space-Time and planned to make the Theatrical Phenomena World’s simulation power a constant presence.
  • Su Wen told the Star God that the Arrow Realm had killed his counterpart’s family and friends, and the Star God offered to accompany him to attack the Arrow Realm.
  • Su Wen said he had already avenged his family in Sub-Space-Time No. 02, then noticed his life-saving crystal trembling and hurried to his office.
  • The Star God watched Su Wen leave and decided that their strategy toward the Arrow Realm needed to change.

Ch. 545It Was Not Divination

Su Wen learned that the Star God’s life-saving crystal contained a prerecorded message explaining his use of the Eighth Epoch Star God’s power and why he had tried to change the future. The Star God revealed that his calculations showed the Ninth Epoch would win its final battle, but Su Wen would disappear from the resulting future.

  • Su Wen realized the crystal had activated after he returned from Sub-Space-Time 02, and the Star God’s recorded projection explained its trigger condition.
  • The Star God said he had used an ancient art to borrow the Eighth Epoch Star God’s power, risking losing himself to that Star God’s memories and strength.
  • The Star God explained that he had entrusted the future to the Eighth Epoch Star God because he believed the tragic future might be changed by an unfamiliar senior.
  • The Star God revealed that his calculations showed the Ninth Epoch winning the final battle, but Su Wen vanishing from the joyful future afterward.
  • The Star God insisted that his result had come from calculation using objective information, not divination of the future.

Ch. 546Just What They Wanted

The Star God warned Su Wen that although the universe was certain to win the final battle, Su Wen’s future calculations showed he would disappear before the age of peace. He urged Su Wen to consider how his absence could leave their comrades vulnerable and make them obstacles to the Will of the Universe and the Tenth Epoch’s new True Gods.

  • The Star God told Su Wen that every calculation predicted the universe’s victory, but also predicted Su Wen would not survive to see the distant future.
  • Su Wen accepted that he might die and decided he could not demand more than the universe’s eventual victory.
  • The Star God warned that Su Wen’s comrades could be targeted after the war, naming the Battle God, Xiao Ying, the Theater God, Little Wind, and himself.
  • The Star God explained that the victorious universe would absorb the Remnant Clan Universe’s power, ushering in a new era and possibly a Tenth Epoch.
  • Su Wen suspected that the Will of the Universe might be behind his future disappearance and realized that Ninth Epoch True Gods could obstruct the Tenth Epoch.

Ch. 547Making a Living Under Black River

Su Wen and the Star God discussed the Will of the Universe, the hidden plans of earlier epochs, and the Star God's calculations of Su Wen's possible futures. The Star God offered to calculate a path for Su Wen now that he had returned to the Main Space-Time, while Su Wen reconsidered keeping a projection that could embarrass him later.

  • Su Wen questioned whether the Will of the Universe had deliberately allowed the Remnant Clan to invade and whether earlier Star Gods had discovered something wrong with it.
  • The Star God warned Su Wen to stay cautious if he ever encountered the Will of the Universe and said earlier epochs might still have hidden contingencies.
  • Su Wen realized his future self's memories could let the Star God calculate him without probing the Rivers of Space-Time or Fate.
  • The Star God imagined Su Wen might one day become powerful enough to escape his calculations, and Su Wen joked about working for the River of Space-Time as its Narrator.
  • Su Wen secretly preserved a projection of the Star God giving a formulaic answer, but reconsidered deleting it when the Star God offered to calculate his future path.

Ch. 548Hanging Banners Against the River of Space-Time

Su Wen learned that Star God's crystal contained part of Star God's origin and divinity, then contacted the River of Fate about the possibility that their universe's Will of the Universe was targeting its greatest experts. The River of Fate demanded that Su Wen fill both offices with insults against the River of Space-Time, while Theater God worried that Su Wen was being forced into a dangerous conflict.

  • Star God explained that his crystal contained ancient arts and part of his origin and divinity, and Su Wen thanked him for the gift.
  • Luobao told Su Wen about another universe whose Will of the Universe had treated living beings as resources, prompting Su Wen to suspect their own Will of the Universe might be compromised.
  • The River of Fate reminded Su Wen that he had promised to cover both offices with banners attacking the River of Space-Time, so Su Wen ordered banners, stickers, murals, and figurines to be made.
  • Theater God became alarmed by Su Wen's actions and asked Star God whether they were worth the risk.
  • Star God said Su Wen should act as he wished, while Theater God wondered whether Su Wen was being coerced and fell silent when Star God pointed out that neither choice offered a safe future.

Ch. 549A World-Class Refuge

Su Wen and Sycee finished decorating the God of Wealth’s office, which the River of Space-Time transformed into a vast refuge that blocked outside investigation and could shelter Huaxia’s people. The office became a potential training base and safe haven, and Su Wen privately asked Sycee whether the River of Space-Time had offered benefits or wanted to pass along a message.

  • The Star God urged the Theater God to focus on cultivation, while news of the River of Fate’s efforts stirred the Battle God, Wind God, Shadow God, and Li Wenze to work harder.
  • Su Wen completed the requested decorations and let Sycee and Luobao furnish the God of Wealth’s and Martial God’s offices.
  • Sycee persuaded the River of Space-Time to expand the God of Wealth’s office and make it impervious to investigation, perception, recording, and divination.
  • Su Wen inspected the transformed office, praised Sycee, and considered it a refuge and training base that could preserve a future for Huaxia’s people.
  • Su Wen quietly asked Sycee whether the River of Space-Time had given them benefits or wanted them to relay a message.

Ch. 550A Cradle of Refuge

Su Wen discovered the River of Fate had transformed the Martial God's office into a powerful refuge to counter the River of Space-Time's sanctuary. Luobao explained that Su Wen might lure a formidable enemy inside to take advantage of the office's suppressive power.

  • Sycee told Su Wen that the River of Space-Time had created a sanctuary to establish an overlapping space near his banner, and Su Wen chose not to take sides in the rivers' feud.
  • Su Wen saw the Battle God sneaking Wind God's snacks, then went to the Martial God's office and informed the Star God about the new refuge in the God of Wealth's office.
  • The Star God ordered an emergency meeting for senior military officials so they could consider using the refuge.
  • Su Wen entered the Martial God's office and saw the River of Fate's imposing banners, its cursed Black River display, and the suppressive power woven into the space.
  • Luobao told Su Wen that the office might serve as a refuge if he lured an enemy he could not defeat inside.
