Arc 6The Staged Death and Future

Su Wen staged the God of Wealth’s death, freed the Insect Spirit Clan, and awakened a new wealth talent through Ao Xiu’s dragon pearl. Future visions revealed the gods’ coming deaths and led Su Wen to investigate Du Baihua and the Spirit Tempering System.

  • Su Wen approved the military’s martial dao books, found memory spells in the God of Magic’s spellbook, and joined the gods as Star God prepared the Star Grand Array.
  • Su Wen chose No. 9 Arrow Realm and met the Evil Spirit Mother Insect, agreeing to free the Insect Spirit Clan from its enslavement contracts in exchange for its alliance.
  • Su Wen destroyed a Snow Soul Clan encampment, then staged his death during his advancement while wearing the Martial God Mask.
  • Star God and Su Wen planned a public funeral and gradual announcement of the Arrow Realms, while Su Wen investigated the clay basin and raised Sycee’s divinity.
  • Su Wen used Wealth Disrupts Space-Time to view a future Imperial Capital and refined wealth stolen from the Dragon Abyss Realm, then Theater God brought him the captured Ao Xiu.
  • Ao Xiu’s dragon pearl contained a divine object of the God of Wealth, and Su Wen awakened Wealth Flows In while the gods considered Ao Xiu’s possible value as a successor.
  • Su Wen showed the gods a ruined future and learned that the Demon Prison Clan would torture him and that several gods would die, prompting the Battle God to set out exploring the Arrow Realms.
  • Su Wen learned that Du Baihua had invented the Spirit Tempering System, seized the system’s promoter and three followers, and demanded that Du Baihua come meet him.
Chapters 126–150 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126A Walking Magic System

Su Wen learned more about the Theater God’s concerns over the Holy Spirit Clan and approved a sample run of martial dao books. After the Theater God demonstrated his ability to absorb their contents at a glance, he directed Su Wen to the God of Magic’s spellbook, where Su Wen found magic that could enhance memory.

  • Su Wen clasped hands with the Theater God, and the Battle God joined their laughter after being drawn into the exchange.
  • The Theater God explained why Su Wen’s earlier remarks about the Holy Spirit Clan had made him tense, as Su Wen considered how poor the Theater God seemed beside the River of Space-Time.
  • Su Wen inspected the military’s hundred sample sets of martial dao books and approved printing them in the same format.
  • The Theater God read all twelve books in moments and told Su Wen that memory skills depended on talent and class, then suggested searching the magic book for memory-enhancing spells.
  • Su Wen opened the God of Magic’s spellbook, found spells including Memory Enhancement and Instant Memorization, and learned that the latter could endanger a soul that was not strong enough.

Ch. 127Loved Showing Off Before Others

Su Wen and Theater God welcomed Wind God back from the Arrow Realm and encouraged him to study Martial Dao, while Theater God tempted him with the chance to show off at school. Their discussion ended when Star God’s epiphany unleashed a pillar of starlight, and Theater God shielded everyone.

  • Su Wen celebrated finding the Instant Memorization spell and decided its soul-strength requirement was safe to ignore because of his memories and the River of Space-Time’s protection.
  • Theater God said Wind God had returned from the Arrow Realm stronger, likely at Ninth Rank, and teased Battle God about being the same rank.
  • Theater God gave Wind God twelve Martial Dao theory books and invited him to join the Martial Dao General Journal as a deputy editor-in-chief.
  • Su Wen told Wind God he could treat Martial Dao as optional, but Theater God persuaded him that studying early would let him solve problems in class and show off.
  • A pillar of starlight struck down during Star God’s epiphany, and Theater God used the Theater Dao to protect everyone before Star God descended.

Ch. 128Martial God Mask

After the Star God finished his enlightenment, he prepared to repair the Star Grand Array and lead Su Wen and the Battle God to an Arrow Realm. The Theater God gave Su Wen a Martial God Mask and the Battle God a wooden sword for their plan to make the Arrow Realm believe Su Wen had died.

  • The Star God restored the ruined office area and said his new insight might let him reach Emperor Rank after the expedition.
  • The Battle God asked Su Wen to help him gain insight in the future, and Su Wen agreed.
  • The Star God told Su Wen and the Battle God to choose an Arrow Realm while he repaired the Star Grand Array.
  • Su Wen chose an earth-deity-governed realm as the best place to make the Arrow Realm side believe he had died.
  • The Theater God gave Su Wen the Martial God Mask and instructed him to put it on during the staged death, while the Battle God used a wooden sword to stop anyone from spying on them.
  • The Battle God followed the Theater God's instructions, then wondered whether the Theater God considered him a simpleton.

Ch. 129Demon Capital No. 9 Arrow Realm

As Star God upgraded the Star Grand Array, Theater God explained Huaxia’s plan to prepare the public for the coming war with the Arrow Realms. After Star God described the array’s improved ability to detect and rescue newly awakened God-Prefixed Heavenly Mandate Bearers, Su Wen chose Demon Capital No. 9 Arrow Realm as his destination and left with Star God.

  • Theater God told Battle God to focus on fighting and growing stronger while others handled complicated tasks.
  • The Star Grand Array caused Huaxia’s sky to darken as Star God adjusted it, and Theater God outlined plans to gradually reveal the Arrow Realms to the public.
  • Su Wen said Huaxia should reveal the truth gradually, using footage of battles, sacrifices, and heroism if time became short.
  • Star God appeared and explained that the upgraded array could detect divinity at the moment a God-Prefixed Heavenly Mandate Bearer awakened and teleport them to safety if they were in danger.
  • Su Wen chose the No. 9 Arrow Realm in Demon Capital, where the Evil Spirit Insect Swarm was, and Star God took him there, leaving Battle God behind.

Ch. 130The Earth Deity on Duty

Su Wen, Battle God, and Star God entered the Demon Capital’s No. 9 Arrow Realm, where an earth deity was on duty. After Star God left them to carry out their plan, Su Wen and Battle God headed toward an insect nest and prepared to explore the realm.

  • Theater God used a disguise to enter the Dragon Abyss Realm, while Wind God stayed behind to play games.
  • Star God explained to Su Wen that a grand array protected the Demon Capital’s No. 9 Arrow Realm instead of soldiers, and recalled Battle God’s old plan to develop land near an Arrow Realm entrance.
  • Su Wen, Battle God, and Star God entered the realm and learned that an earth deity was on duty there.
  • Battle God explained that the Evil Spirit Insect Swarm’s Fel Energy gave it strong vitality and let it drain vitality from other beings.
  • Battle God spotted a medium-sized insect nest two or three hundred kilometers away, and Su Wen asked him where it was.

Ch. 131Triggering the God of Wealth's Heavenly Mandate

Su Wen and the Battle God explored an Arrow Realm and found a medium-sized Evil Spirit Insect Swarm nest. After Su Wen accidentally teleported them into its center, he triggered a Heavenly Mandate Quest tied to the God of Wealth as the nest’s main insect appeared.

  • Su Wen used Transcendent Thunder Eagle Eye to inspect the insect nest, became sickened by what he saw, and vomited.
  • The Battle God collected Su Wen’s vomit and the surrounding soil so they would leave no bodily traces in the Arrow Realm.
  • Su Wen and the Battle God planned to attack the nest with a super-tier Flame Meteor spell, but Su Wen’s spatial magic teleported them into its center.
  • The Battle God prepared to fight the surrounding insects, but Su Wen stopped him after realizing he had triggered a Heavenly Mandate Quest.
  • The nest’s enormous main insect appeared, and the quest instructed Su Wen to listen to its grievances.

Ch. 132The Enslavement of the Insect Spirit Clan

Su Wen learned that the Insect Spirit Clan had been enslaved by the Snow Soul Clan and agreed to help free them, responding to a Heavenly Mandate Quest. The Insect Spirits accepted his proposal to ally with the Heavenly Mandate Bearers and brought him an ancient item.

  • The Evil Spirit Mother Insect told Su Wen that the Snow Soul Clan had enslaved the Insect Spirit Clan for thousands of years and forced its members into labor and war.
  • A Heavenly Mandate Quest asked Su Wen whether he would help the Insect Spirits, whose ancestors had allied with the Heavenly Mandate Bearers.
  • Su Wen proposed that the Insect Spirit Clan fight alongside the Heavenly Mandate Bearers, and the Evil Spirit Mother Insect accepted but asked him to remove their enslavement contracts.
  • The Star God promised to deal with the contracts, and Su Wen told the Insect Spirit Mother Insect he could free them, prompting the swarm to howl with excitement.
  • The Evil Spirit Mother Insect said the Insect Spirit Clan would return an item preserved since ancient times, and a humanoid Insect Spirit arrived carrying a battered earthenware basin.

Ch. 133The True God of Wealth

Su Wen received a mysterious clay basin as his Heavenly Mandate reward and went with Battle God to destroy a Snow Soul Clan encampment. After his experience filled and he began advancing, Star God instructed Battle God to attack him in disguise.

  • Su Wen accepted the clay basin reward, and the insect spirit patriarch explained that it had been entrusted to the clan by a previous Heavenly Mandate Bearer and might awaken through Su Wen's power.
  • The insect spirit patriarch asked Su Wen to kill Snow Soul Clan members stationed nearby, so Su Wen and Battle God followed a guide insect to their encampment.
  • Su Wen destroyed the encampment with Meteor Fire Shower before Battle God could join the fight.
  • Su Wen's second-rank experience filled, and he began advancing while Battle God stood guard.
  • Star God told Battle God to use Change Form in the mask and attack Su Wen while disguised as someone else.

Ch. 134Beaten to Death in Public

The Star God and Battle God staged Su Wen’s public death as the God of Wealth to conceal his survival and new identity as the Martial God. The Insect Spirit Clan mourned the apparent loss of their hope and planned to report the events to the Snow Soul Clan, while Su Wen was warned to keep wearing the Martial God Mask.

  • The Battle God used the Theater God’s wooden sword to evade heavenly interference, then fought the Insect Spirit Clan Leader while pretending to attack Su Wen.
  • A blood-robed figure cut Su Wen’s ascending body in two, creating the appearance that the God of Wealth had died, then escaped with the Battle God.
  • The enraged Insect Spirit Clan Leader ordered her subordinate to report the God of Wealth’s death and request resources from the Snow Soul Clan.
  • The Star God explained to Su Wen how they had staged the death and warned him not to remove the Martial God Mask until he reached Emperor Rank.
  • The Battle God remarked that their plan had deceived the Insect Spirit Clan after it had tried to protect Su Wen.

Ch. 135The God of Wealth's Funeral

The Star God planned a state funeral for the God of Wealth and discussed how to use it to prepare the public for revelations about the Arrow Realms and Heavenly Mandate Bearers. Su Wen agreed to attend as the Martial God, while the Star God warned that Arrow Realm beings studied human history and thought patterns to devise attacks.

  • The Star God advised the Battle God to consult him, the Theater God, and the God of Wealth before making major personal decisions, and the Battle God agreed.
  • The Star God told Su Wen that the state would hold a grand funeral for the God of Wealth the next day, with Su Wen attending as the Martial God.
  • The Star God proposed using the funeral and the Martial Dao General Journal to introduce the Arrow Realms, Heavenly Mandate Bearers, body-tempering, and Martial Dao to the public.
  • The Star God said the public announcement would call the God of Wealth a national hero who died for the country, while Heavenly Mandate Bearers would be told he died exploring No. 9 Arrow Realm in the Demon Capital on July 28, 2022.
  • The Star God explained that Arrow Realm beings studied human books and arts to understand human thinking and might use those patterns to attack, prompting Su Wen to connect their research to the Mental Gu Seed planted in the Battle God.

Ch. 136The Fake Clay Basin

Su Wen returned to the organization with the Star God and Battle God, then examined the clay basin awarded by his Heavenly Mandate Quest. He discovered that its golden glow might only come from his Wealth Source, and began wondering whether Sycee's personality could help explain the basin.

  • The Battle God asked the Star God to avoid mentioning an awkward body part when discussing the Mental Gu Seed, and the Star God agreed to speak with the Theater God.
  • The Star God, Battle God, and Su Wen returned to the office, where the Wind God asked about their quick return and learned that the God of Wealth's funeral would be held the next day.
  • Su Wen decided to move into the Martial God's office while keeping the God of Wealth's office for a spirit tablet to commemorate fallen versions of the God of Wealth.
  • Su Wen showed Sycee the clay basin and asked whether it was the Treasure Bowl, but Sycee said it did not resemble that divine artifact and could not sense the God of Wealth's aura in it.
  • Su Wen infused the clay basin with the Wealth Source, making it flash gold, but Sycee explained that any object blessed with the Wealth Source could glow that way.
  • Su Wen remembered Sycee's personality description and suspected it might offer a way to investigate the clay basin.

Ch. 137Sycee's Secret Stash

Su Wen questioned Sycee about his secret stash and learned that awakening the possibly dormant Treasure Bowl could endanger Sycee unless his divinity grew stronger. After spending 30,000 Wealth Source and raising Sycee's divinity to four points, Su Wen decided to gather more Wealth Source before attempting the awakening.

  • Su Wen asked Sycee about his secret stash, and Sycee explained that the clay basin might be the Treasure Bowl but awakening it could destroy his remaining divinity.
  • Su Wen warned Sycee not to conceal important information again and spent 30,000 Wealth Source raising Sycee's divinity by two points, to four.
  • Sycee denied skimming Wealth Source and explained that he could gather small amounts of it, though storing it with him would only strengthen his power.
  • Su Wen decided to raise Sycee's divinity to at least six points before attempting to awaken the Treasure Bowl.
  • Su Wen spent ten billion U.S. dollars and ten billion euros, and his Wealth Source balance began to change.

Ch. 138Space-Time Projection

Su Wen watched Sycee advance to the intermediate stage and unlock Space-Time Projection, which turned future space-time descriptions into audiovisual scenes at a steep cost. He decided to use the new ability to investigate a brand-new sub-space-time.

  • Su Wen saw that Sycee had reached five divinity after spending Wealth Source Points to feed it, and waited as it began advancing.
  • Sycee completed its advancement and explained that Space-Time Projection could show scenes from a future space-time, with the River of Space-Time charging based on the span and amount of footage.
  • Su Wen learned that projecting his previous four-plus months would cost five thousand Wealth Source Points after a first-use discount, and declined to view it.
  • Su Wen asked Sycee to activate Wealth Disrupts Space-Time so he could use Space-Time Projection to investigate a brand-new sub-space-time.

Ch. 139Thirty Years Later

Su Wen traveled thirty years into the future and found the Imperial Capital devastated by war, then received a huge fortune from the Theater God’s raid on the Dragon Abyss Realm. After gaining 450,000 Wealth Source Points, Su Wen looked into a cage containing a white flood dragon.

  • Su Wen extended his traversal to thirty years and arrived in a tense, impoverished Imperial Capital whose residents avoided him.
  • Su Wen projected a vision of the future and saw a gray sky, patched clothing, and blood-red lights flying toward the city’s outskirts.
  • The Theater God returned from the Dragon Abyss Realm with wealth taken from its emperor’s treasury and the royal capital’s mansions.
  • Su Wen refined the stolen currency and raised his Wealth Source total to 450,000, enough to pursue awakening the Treasure Bowl.
  • The Theater God showed Su Wen a large black cage containing a white flood dragon.

Ch. 140The Dragon of Heavenly Mandate

Su Wen learned that Ao Xiu was destined to inherit his God of Wealth position and considered killing him to prevent future trouble. After Ao Xiu described his extraordinary luck and displayed his many treasures, Su Wen and the Theater God wondered if he was a dragon of heavenly mandate.

  • The Theater God revealed that he had captured Ao Xiu, the Flood Dragon who lived at the Three-Nine Spirit Lake, and brought him to Su Wen.
  • Su Wen used the magic book to let Ao Xiu understand their language, then revealed that Ao Xiu would succeed him after his death.
  • The Theater God urged Su Wen to kill Ao Xiu, but Su Wen asked him to explain his abilities before deciding whether to spare him.
  • Ao Xiu recounted how his birth and misfortunes had coincided with others’ gains, and described repeatedly finding experts and rare treasures through luck.
  • Ao Xiu showed them his collection and explained the stories behind it, leaving Su Wen and the Theater God wondering whether he was a dragon of heavenly mandate.

Ch. 141The Great Sucker

Theater God and Su Wen suspected that Ao Xiu possessed the God of Wealth’s fortune and that Su Wen had taken the danger meant for him. They decided Ao Xiu could not be released, and Theater God offered to risk the fortune’s backlash before Ao Xiu spat out a golden dragon pearl.

  • Theater God warned Su Wen that Ao Xiu’s extraordinary luck might make killing him dangerous, and Su Wen considered whether his wealth fortune had transferred to the dragon.
  • Su Wen recalled his repeated deaths in future sub-spacetimes and suspected the River of Space-Time’s blessing had protected him after he paid it.
  • Su Wen wondered if he had taken the Arrow Realm’s attacks meant for Ao Xiu, then briefly considered killing the dragon to reclaim the God of Wealth’s fortune.
  • Ao Xiu begged for his life and offered to serve Su Wen, confused about why he had been captured and threatened.
  • Theater God insisted they could not release Ao Xiu and volunteered to face any backlash, prompting Ao Xiu to spit out a glowing golden dragon pearl.

Ch. 142True Wealth Flows In

Su Wen absorbed Ao Xiu’s natal dragon pearl and awakened the Wealth Flows In talent, while the Star God and Theater God concealed the disturbance. The Star God advised keeping Ao Xiu alive and urged the gods to prepare for the possibility that their successors might come from the Arrow Realm.

  • The Theater God brought Ao Xiu’s dragon pearl to Su Wen and told him to examine it outside the Theatrical Phenomena World.
  • Su Wen detected the God of Wealth’s divine object in the pearl and began a Deep Heavenly Mandate Awakening.
  • The Star God and Theater God concealed Su Wen’s awakening, while the Wind God, Shadow God, and Battle God watched the commotion.
  • Su Wen awakened Wealth Flows In, a talent that generated income at regular intervals as his circumstances changed.
  • The Battle God urged Su Wen to kill Ao Xiu, but the Star God advised keeping him alive because he might bring further gains.
  • The Star God warned the gods to prepare for their divine positions passing to successors from the Arrow Realm, then said the Battle God was too hard to kill to need such preparation.

Ch. 143With the Martial God Here

In Theater God’s Theatrical Phenomena World, Star God proposed that the gods might achieve Deep Awakening through beings tied to their clans, giving Theater God hope of breaking through. Su Wen then shared that finding Theater God’s successor required Theater God’s death, and the chapter ended with Su Wen preparing to reveal visions of the future.

  • Theater God brought the group into his Theatrical Phenomena World, where Ao Xiu recovered some strength but panicked at the sight of six masked people.
  • Star God suggested that the gods might reach Deep Awakening through particular beings from particular clans, and Theater God saw this as a possible path to a breakthrough.
  • Theater God asked Su Wen to find his successor, but Su Wen explained that the divine position would transfer only after Theater God died.
  • Star God urged the group to search the Arrow Realms for unusual beings connected to their divine authorities, while Theater God told Battle God to investigate clans he knew.
  • Battle God decided to adventure with Tiansha of the Asura Clan, and Su Wen announced that he had visions of the future to share.

Ch. 144The Friendly Feelings Between Divine Seat Heavenly Mandate Bearers

Su Wen showed the gods a projection of the Imperial Capital thirty years in the future, prompting them to consider the destruction and the possibility that many of them would die. As the Star God and Theater God investigated the future, Su Wen chose to keep Ao Xiu alive for a more secure succession plan and as a possible decoy.

  • Su Wen used Sycee to project the ruined Imperial Capital thirty years into the future for the gods.
  • The gods discussed what the devastation might mean, and the Star God and Theater God began divining and deducing the projected scene.
  • Su Wen told Ao Xiu he would keep him alive, and Ao Xiu eagerly agreed.
  • Su Wen considered how Ao Xiu could secure the God of Wealth's succession and take danger away from him in a future timeline.
  • In the Wealth Disrupts Space-Time interface, the cautious God of Wealth disguised himself in borrowed clothes and eavesdropped on a lecture about the friendly feelings between divine seat Heavenly Mandate Bearers.

Ch. 145Multiple Torments of Death by a Thousand Cuts

Su Wen watched a video describing how the Demon Prison Clan captured and tortured the Martial God, prompting Battle God and Star God to attack the Demon Prison Realm. He vowed to destroy the Demon Prison Clan and its allies, while realizing Star God had likely died there, and Star God noticed his distress.

  • The video recounted how the Demon Prison Clan captured the weakened Martial God and tortured his soul with thirty-six kinds of punishment.
  • Battle God and Star God fought their way into the Demon Prison Realm; Battle God returned with the gravely wounded Martial God, while Star God disappeared and the Demon Prison Clan's realms were destroyed.
  • Su Wen learned that the Martial God later died and that Huaxia had also lost Wind God and Theater God.
  • Su Wen resolved to kill the Demon Prison Clan, the Demon Prison Alliance, and the races under their command.
  • Su Wen concluded that Star God had probably died in the Demon Prison Realm, and Star God asked him what was wrong.

Ch. 146I Don't Want to Live Alone

Su Wen told the Star God and the others how the Demon Prison Clan had captured and tortured him in the future, prompting them to vow revenge and discuss their deaths. The Battle God learned that he was expected to outlive the others and carry Huaxia’s future alone, leaving him to say he did not want to live alone.

  • Su Wen recounted the future turning point in 2051, the Demon Prison Clan’s capture and torture of him, and the Star God and Battle God’s attack on the Demon Prison Realm.
  • The Star God and Theater God agreed that the Demon Prison Clan had to die, and the Theater God learned that he had fallen in 2049.
  • The Theater God and Star God explained that the Battle God’s exceptional combat strength let him kill foes above his rank, including an Earth Deity at Emperor Rank.
  • Su Wen told the Wind God that she had died in 2046, then revealed that the Theater God had died in 2049 while the Shadow God was still alive.
  • The Battle God realized that he might be the only one left and said he did not want to live alone.

Ch. 147The Fortune-Bringing Dragon

The Battle God decided to head to the Arrow Realms and grow stronger, while the others discussed their bleak future and resolved to fight for a better one. As they debated what to do with Ao Xiu, Su Wen received a message saying the dragon could bring him fortune.

  • The Battle God took the Theater God's advice, left the Theatrical Phenomena World, and set out to explore the Arrow Realms.
  • The Star God, Shadow God, Wind God, and Su Wen discussed the future, with the Star God saying most of them appeared destined to die within thirty years.
  • The Shadow God urged everyone to use knowledge of the future to change the present, and Su Wen said both their struggle and its outcome would improve.
  • The Theater God asked whether Ao Xiu would stay with him, while the Wind God suggested making Ao Xiu the organization's flying transport and the Star God offered to have him guard a Star Weapon workshop.
  • Su Wen received a message from Sycee saying Ao Xiu had fortune supporting him and would make an excellent fortune-bringing dragon.

Ch. 148Learning from Lord God of Wealth

Su Wen left Ao Xiu in the Theater God's care and learned that the Battle God's fate pattern was shifting toward the playwright Artaud, while mistaking the Theater God's comments about poverty for advice about his finances. Back in his office, Su Wen asked Sycee how to turn Ao Xiu into a fortune-bringing dragon and learned that Sycee wanted to make him the Treasure Bowl's spirit.

  • Su Wen entrusted Ao Xiu to the Theater God while he made arrangements, and the Theater God advised him to cultivate his divine abilities.
  • The Theater God noticed that the Battle God's fate pattern was drawing closer to Artaud and planned to warn him indirectly through theater.
  • Su Wen interpreted the Theater God's mention of the Theater of Poverty as a hint to earn more Wealth Source and left the Theatrical Phenomena World.
  • The Theater God invited Ao Xiu to help with an experiment as the Wind God and Shadow God departed.
  • Su Wen summoned Sycee and asked how to make Ao Xiu a fortune-bringing dragon.
  • Sycee proposed extracting Ao Xiu's soul and placing it in the Treasure Bowl, and Su Wen called Sycee black-hearted after hearing the plan.

Ch. 149Du Baihua's Opposition

Su Wen sent Sycee to gather future information, where the God of Wealth heard a speaker argue that Martial Dao Secret Medicine damaged the body and restricted the Martial Dao’s potential. The speech praised Du Baihua’s opposition to the system, but the God of Wealth recognized the contradiction: Du Baihua had actually invented Martial Dao Secret Medicine.

  • Su Wen told Sycee to retrieve information from the future through the Wealth Disrupts Space-Time interface.
  • The God of Wealth left an entertainment video and stopped to listen to a martial artist criticize Martial Dao Secret Medicine for damaging bodies and limiting martial artists’ advancement.
  • A listener objected that without the secret medicine, the Martial Dao would be limited to the Third Rank and offer humanity even less help against aliens.
  • The speaker claimed Lord Martial God had supported Du Baihua’s opposition to Martial Dao Secret Medicine and promoted the Spirit Tempering System as a more promising alternative.
  • The God of Wealth realized that Du Baihua, presented as the system’s fiercest critic, was actually its inventor.

Ch. 150Do Me a Favor

Su Wen questioned a Spirit Tempering System promoter about its theories and research, then grew angry when the promoter’s men followed him. He took the promoter and three Fourth Rank martial artists to a desolate area and demanded that Du Baihua come for them, leaving Du Baihua ten minutes to respond.

  • Su Wen asked the promoter a series of detailed questions about the Spirit Tempering System, which the promoter struggled to answer.
  • After leaving, Su Wen caught three Fourth Rank martial artists following him and used Spirit Deterrence to frighten them.
  • Su Wen seized the three followers and returned to the square, then used Invisible Hand and Spatial Teleportation to take them and the promoter away.
  • Su Wen brought the four men to a desolate area and demanded that the promoter contact Du Baihua.
  • Du Baihua asked Su Wen to release his subordinates and mentioned his connections to King Rank Heavenly Mandate Bearers, but Su Wen gave him ten minutes to arrive.
