• Wang Qiang offered to help Fengyun Wuji suppress the Lord Gods, but Fengyun Wuji declined and said he would act when he was strong enough to overcome the Principle of Balance.
• Wang Yang, Liu Jianguo, and Zhang Wei recognized that Hua Country's complacency and weaker cultivation environment had left it without anyone on the ranking, and proposed intensified training, cultivation in the Land of Exile, and joining the coming war.

After learning that the Myriad Devils Realm was preparing to invade, Liu Yi joined Ye Xuanxiao and the other Rulers to plan the Mysterious Firmament Realm’s defense. The Rulers conscripted cultivators at the True Immortal realm and above, while system hosts prepared to defend the passage between the realms.

After thirteen years, the passage between the realms stabilized and the Myriad Devils Realm launched its invasion. The Mysterious Firmament Realm’s forces gained the upper hand at the passage, but the five Rulers and seven Devil Saints faced off as the Devil Saints prepared to decide the war themselves.

• Liu Yi released two million War Behemoths, which rapidly multiplied and stopped the Devil Beast tide.
• Bai Qianqian, Ye Qingxue, Xu Cheng'an, Chen Jie, and nearly two hundred Immortal Emperors and Immortal Venerables met the Demon Emperors and Devil Venerables in battle.

Liu Yi faced three Devil Saints at once and overwhelmed them with repeated Heaven-Opening sword strikes, turning the tide of the battle against the Myriad Devils Realm. As the other fighters witnessed his power, Liu Yi dismissed the Devil Saints’ claims of immortality and said he could erase them if he were strong enough.

• Liu Yi taunted the seven Devil Saints, then followed them and the other Rulers into the Chaos for battle.
• Liu Yi summoned his Chaos Spirit Treasures and struck the three Devil Saints with a Heaven-Opening sword attack.
• After the three Devil Saints countered and shattered his first attack, Liu Yi repeatedly cut apart their Great Dao Bodies whenever they reformed.
• The other Rulers and Devil Saints saw Liu Yi dominate the fight, and the Rulers celebrated as the Devil Saints feared their plan to annex the Mysterious Firmament Realm would fail.
• Devil Saint Kongming insisted that the Devil Saints could not be erased, and Liu Yi replied that no being was truly eternal or immortal.

Liu Yi realized that fusing the concepts of being and nothingness into his Great Dao of the World could lead him beyond the Dao Extreme Realm, and he ended the battle against the Devil Saints to pursue that breakthrough. With the Mysterious Firmament Realm gaining the advantage in the war, he returned to the Xuanyi World and began cultivating in seclusion.

• Devil Saint Kongming explained that the Devil Saints could revive as long as their Great Dao concepts existed, prompting Liu Yi to envision the infinite Great Dao and a realm of Transcendence.

Liu Yi reached the Perfect Dao Extreme Realm and learned that the three thousandth Chaos Annihilation Tribulation would destroy even him unless he transcended the Great Dao. Before attempting the dangerous breakthrough, he decided to eliminate the seven Devil Saints and secure the Mysterious Firmament Realm, then discovered that system hosts had already seized much of the Myriad Devils Realm.

• Liu Yi incorporated the concept of existence into the Great Dao of the World, reaching the Limitless Great Dao and Perfect Dao Extreme Realm.

The two discovered that their lives might be written by an author beyond the Void Boundary, then noticed a new Earth transmigrator and decided to observe his story rather than interfere.
