End-of-volume summary

I don't usually write a summary at the end of a volume, but since this volume is ending soon and the final volume will follow, it's worth writing one.

Returning to the content of this volume, the original work is "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

However, on the first day of school, William told Harry about the Half-Blood Prince's identity.

The theme of this volume naturally becomes Slytherin and the Snakewood Wand.

There are many changes from the original work, such as the successful strategist Malfoy and the absence of Death Eaters attack on Hogwarts.

Most importantly... Dumbledore: I'm not dead! I successfully survived until the final volume!

As the title suggests, Slytherin and the Snakewood Wand.

The focus of this volume shifts to the United States.

The idea that Slytherin's Wand, hypnotized by Parseltongue, transforms into Snakewood... comes from Rowling.

Based on this premise, I also created a storyline to serve my own purposes, which I found quite interesting.

Actually, in my original plan, the setting for this volume was to be moved to Ilvermorny.

Write about Ilvermorny's daily life like you would write about Hogwarts.

Even the characters are sketched out, such as Newt's sister-in-law Tina's granddaughter and Picquery's brother.

Even in the original plan, Hermione was also supposed to come to Ilvermorny as an exchange student at this age.

William, disguised as Targaryen, continues teaching Ancient Runes and then confronts Tom.

But this raises a problem: Hermione's arrival in the United States as an exchange student will inevitably attract Tom's attention.

The Targaryen alias thus loses its meaning.

During the serialization process, I also found that people preferred the story to take place at Hogwarts rather than elsewhere.

Therefore, I slightly modified the outline, and William's story will only unfold in the United States during summer vacation, Halloween, and Easter.

This volume also successfully introduces a character besides Voldemort —the old man.

The old man actually appeared quite early, in Paris, France. This was his first official appearance.

Having discussed this volume, the final volume will mainly consist of digging holes... oops, I mean filling them in.

After thinking about it, there are still quite a few pitfalls.

Arya in Egypt, Grindelwald who wants to kill Death, Voldemort Lady of the Lady of the Lake beneath the Black Lake, Tom following the old man to find Death, the mini-boss Tom, the golden coffin of the Four Founders...

Of course, there's also Death himself.

I hope to bring this book to a perfect close.

Back when I was following Harry Potter fanfiction, authors who could write up to sixth grade were considered good authors in my eyes.

William has now successfully completed seventh grade and graduated; all that's left is to finish the book.

Actually, there won't be much content in the next volume; it won't be as focused on everyday life as the previous seven volumes.

My plan is to finish this book before August.
