Hermione's Front Teeth
Nicolas Flamel appeared on the balcony as if by magic.
Looking at William, who was deep in thought, he smiled and said, "I've altered some of the memories of your parents and Hermione's parents, turning them into a very pleasant afternoon."
"I couldn't refuse to change their memories, or they'd expel you... But Hermione and your sister insisted, so I ultimately didn't erase their memories."
Hermione snorted and muttered, "I'm a witch, what right do you have to change my memories!"
William glanced at the girl and nodded slightly.
"As for why I arrived first... I have Prophecy abilities and saw Gringotts ' scene in advance within the Prophecy Orb. Unlike humans, Fawkes can appear instantly even though Gringotts forbids Apparition."
William chuckled to himself.
"I haven't taken any provocation to heart. I just feel that this surprise attack on the Auror has caused trouble for you and Professor Dumbledore."
Nicolas Flamel turned and looked at the starry sky, saying, "Albus me to pass on a message to you about this."
William laughed and said, "Speak."
"Albus you not to worry. He'll handle Fudge. He's wanted to teach the Auror a lesson for a long time, but he just didn't want to bully the weak."
Albus also reminded you to be discharged before the start of the semester so you don't miss the Sorting Ceremony.
William was taken aback. So wild? As expected, there aren't many normal people in Gryffindor.
"To be honest," Nicolas laughed, "I've wanted to teach the Ministry of Magic a lesson for a long time. Back in our day, it wasn't called the Ministry of Magic, it was called the Wizards' Council."
Once I punched the Speaker, whose position was basically equivalent to the current Minister for Magic. The wizards of the entire council chased me through Paris all night...
Nicolas slowly recounted the past, and William and Hermione listened with great interest.
After an unknown amount of time, Nicolas slowly said, "Alright, I should go back to Devon. Perenelle is waiting for me at home for dinner."
By the way, Christmas is my 665th birthday, and I'd like to invite you all to my birthday party.
He winked playfully.
William smiled and said, "Congratulations."
Hermione paused, then asked, "Are you inviting me too?"
"Of course," Nicolas laughed, "But don't forget to prepare my birthday present."
Hermione nodded quickly, her long eyes filled with undisguised joy.
Nicolas Flamel left, taking with him the bare, incredibly ugly Fawkes.
Only William and Hermione remained in the ward.
The girl then stuck her fluffy head into the book, pretending to read intently.
William didn't call her out on it. Instead, he stood up and went out onto the balcony.
Hermione also stood up, grabbed her textbook, and followed him to the balcony, seemingly to keep an eye on him and prevent him from fighting with anyone else.
Bored, William took out his wand and tapped it a few times, turning the two potted plants on the balcony into two benches.
This time, no explosion occurred, and he had basically adapted to the surge in magic power.
William lay on one of the chairs, gazing peacefully at the starry sky, lost in thought.
"Are all first-year wizards like you?" Hermione asked enviously.
She didn't mention the fact that she couldn't cast spells during summer vacation anymore; if William hadn't used magic, she might already be dead.
"Of course not. If everyone were at my level, I certainly wouldn't have been able to receive the Order of Merlin."
Hermione pouted and remained silent; that's probably what genius is all about.
William conjured another piece of parchment, repeatedly recalling in his mind the magic the black-robed wizard used to kill the fire dragon.
He conjured a table, leaving Hermione aside, and drew from memory the black-robed wizard's wand-waving movements and the spells he uttered on a piece of paper.
William caught Hermione peeking at his drawing out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't bother to call her out on it. He just took it as a thank you for taking good Amaterasu.
William's entire body surged with magic. He drew his wand and, mimicking the black-robed wizard, swung it at a distant tree branch, but only managed to cut the leaves, unable to condense them into leaf swords.
William swung his sword more than a dozen times, all to the same result, and remained silent.
The actions can be imitated, and the incantation can be shouted out, but without understanding its meaning, it is impossible to cast the spell.
It seems I'll have to ask Dumbledore sometime... There shouldn't be any magic the professor doesn't know.
Hermione glanced at it for a long time but couldn't understand the spell, so she had no choice but to pick up her wand and perform Transfiguration according to her first-year textbook.
But after a moment, the chair did not change at all.
William glanced at her for a few seconds and chuckled, "Little wizard, don't even think about Transfiguration something so complicated from the start."
"Then what will it become?"
William approached Hermione and plucked a long brown hair from her messy head.
"Here, try turning this into a needle."
Hermione covered her head, then suddenly moved closer and yanked two strands of hair from William's head.
She held her wand to William's hair, but after a moment, it only produced a slight reaction.
"It seems your talent for Transfiguration is about the same as mine back then."
"Can you teach me?" Hermione asked, blinking her bright, eager eyes.
William nodded. "Of course, we still have a month before school starts, I can teach you slowly."
"By the way," Hermione suddenly asked, "Haven't you noticed something?"
"What?" William asked, puzzled.
"My braces are gone. Madam Lister removed them, and then she used magic to straighten my teeth again."
Hermione opened her mouth to show William her row of perfectly white teeth. Hermione's teeth were very white; after all, Iris was a dentist.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Hermione said proudly.
William laughed, "It's really beautiful."
Perhaps because she had never been praised for her looks since childhood, the girl blushed after hearing William's compliment.
She breathed a sigh of relief and was about to laugh when she heard the boy say, "His front teeth are just too big."
Hermione's smile vanished; she was furious. She straightened her face again, determined to never speak to this jerk again.
William pulled out his wand and aimed it at the two front teeth.
"What?" Hermione was startled.
"I'll help you shrink; it'll look better that way," William said earnestly. "Don't move around. My magic power has increased dramatically; if you move, it'll make things more difficult."
Hermione stood timidly next to the boy, the two maintaining an odd posture.
"Sorry," William suddenly said, "I think I've gotten bigger."
"You...!" The girl was on the verge of tears, and felt like strangling William.
William used his wand to turn the hair in Hermione's hand into a mirror, Hermione quickly looked in the mirror to examine herself.
She lunged at the bastard, yelling, "Liar!"
Hermione's smile returned, revealing dimples on her cheeks, a sight even more radiant than a sky full of stars.
