The Weasley Three Brothers' Disaster
William walked into the office and sat down in a chair.
Professor McGonagall carried William on her back and began searching through the bookshelves.
"I originally didn't recommend that you learn Animagus at your age. I only started preparing in the third year, and it took me a year to complete the course under Professor Dumbledore's guidance."
However, William, your Transfiguration skills are already very high; I will do my best to help you.
Professor McGonagall pulled an old book from the corner and handed it to William.
"This book, ' Advanced Transfiguration,' is one I used back in the day. You can find it in the library."
However, in the Animagus chapter, there are some notes from back then; you can take a look at them first.
William expressed his gratitude and carefully accepted it.
Only seven people registered with Animagus in the 20th century, and Professor McGonagall was one of them.
Of course, there are many unreported illegal Animagus, but not many.
Just from this number, you can tell that this is a very profound and difficult magic. There are very few books on this subject, and most of them are not systematic.
William also has a book called "Animagus Explained in Detail," but Professor McGonagall's notes are more valuable, containing her various insights.
William and Professor McGonagall agreed that starting next Friday, William would come to the professor's office every Friday evening to receive her guidance.
Before leaving, Professor McGonagall said sternly, "William, I know your Transfiguration are very high."
But I won't allow you to practice alone. Animagus is dangerous; it's easy to lose your mind and never be able to change back.
I only dared to try it under Dumbledore's guidance back then. If you practice alone and I find out, I will definitely expel you from school. Even Professor Dumbledore can't stop you."
William nodded hastily like a chick pecking at rice. Of course, he wouldn't try it on his own; he wasn't Gryffindor and valued his life.
As it turns out, Professor McGonagall's GG publicity was very effective.
William only had a brief discussion with McGonagall in the crowd, and by the afternoon, rumors were flying everywhere.
Many students even said that each of the Hogwarts professors ordered a map.
William didn't know who spread the rumor, but he did know that the twin brothers came at noon and took away some publicity funds.
Not many, just a few Galleon.
But you can buy a troll army with just a few Knut, not to mention the large number of Ravenclaw's loyal followers.
In just one afternoon, hundreds of maps were sold out, and all fifteen private customized slots were also snapped up.
But the demand was too high, so William and his team had no choice but to add ten more spots, and the demand only continued to grow.
William was surprised to discover for the first time that Hogwarts had so many wealthy young wizards, and that they had such a strong competitive spirit.
Soon, William and his group posted some minor glitches in the Gadget section of the Daily Prophet, and also published Professor McGonagall's words.
Many parents order via OwlMail because they are eager to know about their children's learning progress.
This is also necessary. After the end of last semester, many students' grades dropped significantly, and most parents suspected that their children had been skipping classes.
If these parents knew that the problem stemmed from William and his friends selling answer keys privately, they probably wouldn't be so willing to buy the maps.
But it's not all good news.
For example, on Wednesday, Mrs. Weasley wrote to order three maps so that she could better monitor the twin brothers and also keep an eye on her youngest son, Ron, to prevent him from going astray with his two older brothers.
Her tone suggested that if she didn't intervene soon, her two sons would be sent to Azkaban.
What a disaster for the Weasley Three Brothers!
The twins were anxious about this for several days, and Ron became even more agitated when he found out.
Ron felt that Mrs. Weasley didn't trust him; hadn't people even built up that most basic trust between them?
Percy was smug; as a top student, he didn't have this problem, and he spent his days flaunting his Prefect Badge in front of Ron and Harry.
He also loudly scolded Ron: "You have the map, yet you always bring Harry along when you're late, causing Gryffindor to lose so many points—you deserve it!"
After this happened several times, Ron, belatedly realizing what was going on, stared at Percy with a grim face. "You didn't write to Mom, did you? Otherwise, she would have known before I even started school a week ago..."
Percy excused himself to go to the bathroom and hurriedly ran away.
Ron couldn't catch him, and could only roar from behind, "You despicable snitch!"
Finally, the twin brothers decided to strategically ignore their mother's order, pretending not to see it, since she couldn't come to school anyway (smug).
Since maps are so profitable, it's natural that there will be counterfeit versions.
Counterfeits appeared on the third day.
But the garbage that came out in three days wasn't even a replica; at best, it was a handmade drawing, just a copy of the Hogwarts Magical Map drawn on a piece of paper.
But Hogwarts is three-dimensional, and the staircases are constantly changing, so this kind of diagram is worthless.
Cedric also studied art with Ollivander, so the difference in their painting skills is significant.
Many students who consider themselves good at Transfiguration also attempt to imitate it by adding details, but this is a massive undertaking.
Most importantly, Marauder's Map utilizes the advanced spell "Tracking Charm".
The Hogwarts Magical Map is connected to the Marauder's Map, using the Marauders's magic as a hub to display the location of the map's owner.
No matter how well other counterfeit maps imitate them, they cannot have this function.
This was not something a junior wizard could set up or control. William hadn't been able to set it up before either, but after Phoenix's Blessing, his magic power increased dramatically, and he was able to barely set up this kind of magic at Hogwarts.
Many students consulted the professor in class but still couldn't understand the spell in the map. In fact, because they tried to decipher the spell, the map was sealed off and rendered useless.
After a few attempts, no one dared to continue exploring.
William and his team seemed to have mastered core technologies, producing products that spanned several eras, creating a solid technological barrier that left others with no chance to imitate them.
However, these were all minor matters, and soon William was about to receive his first lesson on Defence Against Dark Magic.
The school hasn't taught this course for a long time since Professor Tywin was arrested.
Putting aside his identity Death Eaters, everyone thinks Tywin Lannister is a pretty good teacher.
Especially for the older students, they hadn't seen such a reliable teacher in years.
When William entered the classroom, Cho and Marietta were already seated, and they waved to him.
William walked over and sat down next to the two men.
"Where have you been?" Qiu asked, frowning. "I haven't seen you for the past few days."
"I'm brewing Potions," William said softly.
The deposits for the Slytherin girls on the train have all been paid, and William has already used an owl to buy magical materials in Diagon Alley.
This represents a significant amount of income, and William has already begun preparing it. If all goes well, he should be able to finish cooking it all before Halloween.
Brewing Potions is a delicate task that cannot be disturbed, and only the Room of Requirement can fulfill that need.
"What are you cooking?" Marietta asked curiously.
"Amortentia."
"William... who are you going to use it on?" Marietta tidied her hair, a hint of anticipation in her voice.
"Of course I didn't use it. Why would I need to use such a thing?"
The girl was somewhat disappointed.
"Oh, you want to test the medicine, right?" William suddenly realized. "Sure, after Prefect Robert left, I've been looking for a young wizard willing to test the medicine. The price is negotiable; we're friends, so I can give him a little more."
Ever since losing the Ravenclaw door knocker, Robert has become despondent and has been frantically working as a drug test subject for William until he graduates.
William felt it was a pity that such a good tool had graduated, and he wished Dumbledore would extend his graduation by six years.
As the saying goes... "We all go to Hogwarts together; whoever graduates first is a dog."

I still owe "Joker v" an update today.
The environment at home isn't ideal for writing, and I'm also an older person with slower typing speeds. I'll try to write as much as possible each day, aiming for at least two updates a day, and even more if necessary. Thank you all for your support.
