The Platinum Generation
On Saturday morning, the Quidditch stadium was packed with people; it seemed like the entire school had come to the stands, and many students even brought binoculars.
William and Cho went to the top row of seats in Ravenclaw.
Where there is autumn, there is Cedric, who shamelessly sat down in the Ravenclaw stands.
Of course, the three of them mainly gathered together to analyze the strengths of Slytherin and Gryffindor, and then explore some weaknesses.
Hermione and Ron also arrived.
Since the Troll incident, Hermione has finally made some friends in her grade, which is a good thing.
The two men came up with a brilliant idea: they would use the Scabbers sheets to create a giant banner that read "Potter will win."
Unfortunately, on that bed sheet, there was only a large Gryffindor lion, but it couldn't move.
Hermione wanted William to help her cast a spell to make the lion roar.
William took out his wand and tapped the lion. Soon the lion came to life, pacing back and forth on the sheets, majestic and imposing.
A green snake was coiled around the lion's head, like a hat, and the little snake was trembling.
Ron clapped his hands, admiring the sheets and intending to keep them forever;
Hermione, holding her wand, seemed eager to try it out as well.
Hagrid arrived soon, bringing with him a large amount of snacks: roasted sunflower seeds, roasted walnuts, fried peanuts... all the little things William and his friends loved to eat.
Wait a minute, William actually spotted some deep-fried Mouthy Flower, roasted Puffapod, and charcoal-grilled pea pods among the snacks.
Aren't these all Professor Sprout's darlings from his greenhouse? How did they end up here?
Okay, it tastes pretty good, really fragrant!
Hermione seemed to have something to say, so she sat down next to William.
Ron, however, was drawn to the snacks and thought watching the game from the Ravenclaw stands was a good idea.
"Who do you think will win?" Ron stuffed snacks into his mouth.
"Ron, the Quaffle is round, anything can happen, but we're definitely supporting Gryffindor," William said.
Cedric and Cho nodded, since both twins were in the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.
Hermione glanced around cautiously, then leaned against William, her expression serious. "William, Harry said Professor Snape wants to walk past Fluffy on Halloween Eve!"
Ron nodded seriously. "That's right, when we saw him, he was heading that way."
William glanced at the two of them and asked doubtfully, "Professor Snape, go in... is there any problem?"
Has he been in there few times? Probably more times William.
"Is that alright?" Ron's eyes widened. "That's Restricted Section set by Professor Dumbledore."
With a three-headed dog guarding it, there's likely something important hidden under the trapdoor... like Professor Dumbledore's weapon, or the vault key.
"Unfortunately, it's not what you're thinking of inside, Ron," Cedric chuckled. "At the far end is Professor Dumbledore's office."
"Huh?" Ron was starting to get confused.
Harry told him that Snape was trying to pass by Cerberus, looking for the thing the dog was guarding! He even swore that Troll had let the Snape in!
After discussing it, they decided to ask William for help, since he had killed the Troll and captured a Death Eaters.
But now that he heard the end was the Headmaster's Office, Ron wavered, because that made something about what Harry had said questionable.
"But!" Even though Hermione already knew that the end of the road led to the Headmaster's Office, she still had a different opinion.
"I went back and thought about it. William, you said that the design of that checkpoint is not yet complete."
You also told me that "everything the principal does has a deeper meaning."
So, what was the purpose of his elaborate level design?
It's not like they're specifically targeting nighttime wizards... I went back and inquired, and it turns out Gryffindor wizards went on adventures, but they couldn't get in when they encountered Fluffy.
That level was easy for you, but it was difficult for everyone else!
Cedric and Cho both seemed to be deep in thought.
William looked at Hermione with admiration; the girl was truly the smartest witch he had ever met.
Hermione's analysis was spot on; he had thought about it when he got back... Dumbledore hadn't completed the challenge before, but once he did, the final challenge definitely wouldn't be the Headmaster's Office.
So what was his purpose in designing such a thing?
It can only be for...
"Quirrell!" William said.
"Professor Quirrell?" Hermione frowned. "What's wrong with him?"
"On Halloween Feast day, it wasn't just Professor Snape who went to the fourth-floor Restricted Section; I also spotted Professor Quirrell."
William quickly explained what had happened that day.
Cedric said seriously, "He fainted in the lobby, yet he still rushed to the fourth floor. There's definitely something wrong with that."
"But... maybe Professor Quirrell went to stop Snape from going in," Ron countered.
"Why are you all fixated on Professor Snape? Why don't you suspect Quirrell?" Cho asked, frowning at Ron.
"Well..." Ron blushed.
William understood Ron's thoughts: Snape was difficult to Gryffindor, spoke harshly, and most people disliked him.
Quirrell wasn't exactly likable either, but he seemed cowardly and didn't appear to be the type to do bad things.
To put it bluntly, it's prejudice stemming from a persona.
William leaned back in his chair, thinking of Snape's letters to Lily. He absolutely refused to believe that Snape was a bad person.
However, William had promised Dumbledore not to tell anyone about Snape and Lily, and he couldn't say anything either.
"There are some things I can't tell you, but one thing is certain: Professor Snape has been teaching at Hogwarts for ten years. If he had any problems, Dumbledore would have discovered them long ago."
As for Professor Quirrell, he's only here for the first time.
William completely convinced Hermione.
Ron also seemed thoughtful, agreeing with William's point.
He decided to go back and tell Harry to focus his attention on Quirrell.
William noticed that Hagrid remained silent, clearly indicating that Dumbledore instructed him not to comment on the matter.
Therefore, William still doesn't know what Dumbledore is hiding.
The competition began quickly.
"The Gryffindor Quidditch Team is here!"
Lee Jordan suddenly shouted, acting as a commentator just like last year.
"Potter, Bell, Johnson, Spinnet, the Weasley Brothers, and Wood."
"That's right," Lee said excitedly, "Potter became a first-year Seeker after Potter left, and is also the youngest player in nearly a century. "Charlie
According to the information I received from Wood... Harry is absolutely qualified for this position.
So even before the match started, I dare say this Gryffindor Quidditch Team is definitely Hogwarts ' platinum generation in recent years...
Lee's comments were drowned out by the boos from everyone, including William and the others.
Last year, Li boasted in the finals that Charlie's team was the golden generation, but this year they've become the platinum generation.
So, will next year be the Platinum Generation?
(Third update, one more to go.)
