As Madam Hooch blew her silver whistle, fifteen flying brooms rose from the ground and soared high into the sky.

As a commentator, Li also began to loudly explain the match.

"The Quaffle was immediately caught by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor —what an excellent Chaser, and also very attractive."

No, this was definitely not a confession; I just accidentally let slip my feelings. Of course, if she's willing to go on a date with me...

"Lee Jordan!"

"I'm sorry, Professor."

Li immediately began to explain in a serious tone, but after a few words, he started talking nonsense again.

Lee's commentary affected many players, especially Fred, who almost Bludger towards the commentary table.

"Hey Fred, don't be impulsive!" George shouted, perched on his broomstick. "I know Lee just said bad things about me, but it's okay, we'll teach him a lesson after the game!"

However, Fred ignored George, his eyes fixed on Angelina's ball.

More accurately, it was the Quaffle the girl was holding.

Angelina's technique is better than last year. She started with a quick attack, scoring two goals in a row and taking twenty points.

The crowd cheered everywhere, but Slytherin's strength was not to be underestimated, otherwise they wouldn't have won the Quidditch Cup for several years in a row.

They used foul tactics very well, employing all sorts of subtle tricks.

Without Captain Charlie Weasley's leadership, Wood didn't perform well, and Slytherin quickly caught up.

William quickly assessed the strength of both teams. Gryffindor had adopted a completely new tactic this time in order to take care of Harry.

Harry didn't participate in the teamwork at all; instead, he focused entirely on hovering at the highest point, carefully searching for the Golden Snitch.

This style of play has both advantages and disadvantages.

Quidditch is a seven-player game, and the Seeker is an important part of the strategy, not just someone who seeks out the Golden Snitch.

Just like when Charlie was still in the team, he was always looking for the Golden Snitch while constantly blocking his way.

This tactic can effectively double-team and pressure the Chaser the ball to pass.

Every pass creates an opportunity to intercept.

To put it bluntly, Harry is still a bit green, but he has great flying talent; his tactical awareness is lacking.

However, none of these are problems; no one is born knowing how to play Quidditch.

Halfway through the match, Gryffindor had already gained a slight advantage.

But at that moment, Harry's flying broomstick started behaving strangely.

The broom seemed to have taken a super-powerful pill, twitching and twisting wildly as it slowly and higher disappeared from the field.

"I have no idea what Harry's up to. Is the Golden Snitch hiding in the clouds?" Hagrid muttered, peering intently through his binoculars.

Whether it's in the clouds or not, I don't know, but Harry will soon be standing shoulder to shoulder with the sun.

"If I didn't know him, I would have thought he couldn't control his broom—but he couldn't possibly..."

Everyone quickly realized that there was indeed something wrong with Harry's broom.

"Was there something wrong with the broom handle when Flint bumped into him?" Ron asked in a low voice.

"Impossible," Qiu shook his head, "The brooms used in the competition underwent special earthquake resistance testing before the competition."

"Indeed, apart from powerful Dark Magic, nothing can interfere with a flying broomstick—ordinary impacts are even less likely to malfunction the Nimbus 1700," Cedric analyzed with his professional knowledge.

Harry was still using the Nimbus 1700, the newest model the school had been updated with. Wood had once suggested buying him a Nimbus 2000, but Professor McGonagall refused.

This series is not bad, and the twins bought Nimbus 2000 with their own money, so they had two extra and didn't need to spend any more money.

If the broom were in poor condition, Professor McGonagall might consider buying a new one, but she wouldn't do that at all right now.

Hermione, holding William's binoculars, didn't look up at Harry but instead anxiously peered into the crowd.

"William, you're right, Professor Snape is innocent!" Hermione gasped. "It's Quirrell —look!"

Hermione handed the binoculars to William. Quirrell sat in the middle of the side stands, his eyes fixed on Harry, muttering to himself silently.

"He's definitely casting a curse on the flying broomstick," Ron shouted, taking the binoculars from Hagrid.

Guided by William, both of them focused their attention on Professor Quirrell.

"William, can you interfere with Quirrell's curse without using magic?" Hermione asked.

"Someone's already doing it, otherwise Harry would have fallen off the broom long ago."

William, through his telescope, noticed that Professor Snape was also staring at Harry and chanting spells incessantly.

Tsk tsk... As expected, if you love her, you love her son too.

William reassured him, "Don't worry, there are so many professors here. If Harry falls, they'll use Levitation Charm in time."

In fact, Wood should have called a pause at that moment, and Madam Hooch should have noticed the problem in time, instead of letting Harry "broom shake" in the sky!

This once again demonstrates Madam Hooch's inadequacy in handling unexpected situations.

"What do we do? If this continues, Gryffindor will lose." Ron's face was pale.

"Watch me." Hermione thought for a moment and then got up from her seat.

The Gryffindor players surrounded Harry, while Slytherin's Marcus Flint seized the opportunity to catch the Quaffle and throw it five times, but no one paid any attention to him.

When it comes to shamelessness, Flint is far superior.

Professor Trelawney, who rarely leaves the top floor of the North Tower, came to watch the game today, feeling restless from her quiet existence.

At this moment, she occupied two seats by herself, sitting cross-legged on the chair, staring at the Prophecy Orb in her hand, muttering mysteriously:

"Ah, I sense it... darkness is approaching, getting closer and closer, a terrifying feeling... the future is blurry, someone is about to fall, is it that boy in the sky...?"

Hermione struggled through the crowd, weaving left and right, when she accidentally bumped into Trelawney, knocking her off her seat.

Trelawney collapsed in front of the next row of spectators, swearing an F-word. "I told you today wasn't a good day to go out!"

Hermione finally reached Quirrell's side. She knelt down, drew her wand, and whispered a spell.

Bright blue flames shot out from her wand and flew toward Quirrell's long scarf hanging at his waist.

About thirty seconds later, Quirrell realized he was on fire; the flames on his scarf were almost reaching the back of his head.

Quirrell was terrified, but he didn't dare take off his scarf, so he could only pat the back of his head with his hand.

"Fire!"

"Quickly, put out the fire!"

Many people lashed at Quirrell's burning head with their clothes, with tremendous force.

Snape stopped chanting the spell and looked at Quirrell, who had suddenly burst into flames, with a puzzled expression.

His eyes flickered, and suddenly he waved his wand, spraying a stream of icy water onto the back of Quirrell's head.

The fire was quickly extinguished, but Quirrell still didn't take off his strange clothes and charred scarf. Instead, he turned and ran towards the castle.

Harry was finally alright, and he rode on his broomstick, hurtling rapidly towards the ground.

People saw him cover his mouth with his hand, as if he were about to S.P.E.W. —he fell to the ground and pulled a golden object from his mouth.

"I caught the Golden Snitch!" he shouted, swinging the ball high over his head, and the game ended in chaos.

"He didn't catch the Golden Snitch; he almost swallowed it whole."

Twenty minutes later, Flint was still grumbling indignantly, as if he wasn't the one who secretly threw the Quaffle into the basket.

Lee Jordan shouted the result with joy: Gryffindor Quidditch Team won by 220 to 100.

William, however, paid no attention to this; he was still watching Quirrell run through his binoculars.

He began to take an interest in what was under Quirrell's scarf.
