The large, empty classroom contained only Snape and two burly, menacing men.

Snape was dressed only in a sheer black robe, underneath which he was naked, and nothing else.

He tugged at his collar, causing his clothes to tighten slightly, thus outlining his graceful figure, especially his long, shapely legs, giving the impression that he would look beautiful in women's clothing.

Dawlish was a strong man with short, stiff hair. He was taciturn and his hair was entirely gray.

Dawlish stared into Snape's eyes, their faces barely more than five centimeters apart.

His throat bobbed, and he swallowed.

Dawlish seemed to be trying to see through Snape's eyes to understand what he was thinking, but unfortunately... it was a blank.

Wait... he saw it, what was that?

It seems to be myself...

Who is he embracing?

Kingsley?

Wait a minute, he occasionally has these thoughts, but he's never actually done them!

Was it because he was drunk one time... and forced to do it?

No, that's terrible!

Dawlish immediately realized he had been tricked. Not only had Snape seen his thoughts through Legilimency, but he had also fabricated a memory and deliberately let him see it!

Terrifying magical skill!

Cold sweat dripped down Dawlish's face.

Kingsley Shacklebolt was unaware of what had transpired between the two; he was still engrossed in watching Snape, waiting for Dawlish to tire of him so he could join in.

For Kingsley, his role was merely to go through the motions and ensure Snape wouldn't be troubled by Dawlish.

He was, after all, Dumbledore's man, body and soul... completely and utterly Dumbledore's man.

It can only be said that this matter has blown up. A professor died in public, and it has also involved Gringotts, which is why the Ministry of Magic has sent so many Auror to Hogwarts in such a grand manner.

How long have you been teaching at Hogwarts?

Dawlish, realizing he was no match for Snape, turned to interrogation.

"Eleven years." Snape's expression was somewhat impatient.

The Ministry of Magic already knew this; he had been imprisoned in Azkaban and interrogated, so they were naturally familiar with the Auror's methods of handling cases.

"You applied to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts first, didn't you?" Dawlish avoided Snape's eyes to prevent being Legilimency again.

"Yes," Snape said in a low voice.

"But you didn't get accepted?"

Snape scoffed. "Obviously."

"You've applied to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts class multiple times since you entered the school, haven't you?"

"Yes." Snape frowned; he looked annoyed.

Do you know why Professor Dumbledore repeatedly refused to use you?

"He's probably afraid I'll die," Snape replied curtly.

"You may not know this, but most of the professors at this school are just slacking off. There are only a few who are truly capable, and I am the most outstanding one."

He was afraid that if something happened to me, no one would help him.

After all, Professor Dumbledore is an absolute idiot!

"You... you really dare to say that," Dawlish said, displeased.

He snorted coldly and continued:

"Then, could I assume that you were jealous of Professor Quirrell, jealous that he got the position you dreamed of, so you poisoned him to death?"

"You can drink Potions, but you can't say anything you want," Snape retorted.

"Professor Dumbledore asked me to brew the poison; I was just following his instructions."

"He just tells you to make it, and you make it without even asking what it's for?"

Snape said in a disdainful and sarcastic tone, "He's the headmaster. If I don't listen to him, the position of Potions Professor might very well go to someone else tomorrow."

"Will the Ministry of Magic find me a new job?"

"Then why did Professor Dumbledore have you brew poison? Did he already know Quirrell was a dark wizard?"

Snape scoffed, "I don't know. Maybe you should ask him. Of course, he should know before you Auror do."

"What do you mean?" Dawlish asked Snape menacingly.

Snape shrugged. "Your Ministry of Magic is always a step too late; you can't even detect a dark wizard lurking in Hogwarts!"

You should perhaps improve your own abilities instead of wasting time questioning me.

If you were more capable, you might have caught Quirrell by now...

Snape's sharp tongue was not something everyone could handle; Dawlish wanted to punch him several times, but ultimately refrained.

Fighting someone on Dumbledore's turf? He'd have to be Auror to die!

Dawlish knew one thing: that old witch named Umbridge had a conflict with the Stark, was knocked unconscious, and the Starks were completely unharmed, while Umbridge was even kicked out of the Auror Office.

This incident has become a laughing stock in the Ministry of Magic!

He didn't want to become the next laughing stock.

After the interrogation ended, Professor Snape left the classroom, and soon William walked in.

However, he wasn't being interrogated by two burly men, but by an elderly witch.

She looked to be in her fifties or sixties, with short, gray hair and dark eyes.

Despite her advanced age, she was dressed in a girlish pink outfit, a color that only girls under twenty could pull off.

This contrast is so striking that it gives the impression of a woman being coquettish.

A sixteen or seventeen-year-old innocent and carefree girl can be charming no matter how she acts coquettishly; but an older woman who has reached a certain age gives people a repulsive feeling.

At that moment, William suddenly thought of that old witch, Umbridge.

She was an older woman, but she liked to speak in a high-pitched, soft voice, making her sound like a young girl.

The witch was quite perceptive; she pouted and said with a coquettish smile, "What's wrong? Don't you think my clothes look good?"

"No, Auntie, you look good in anything."

William snapped out of his daze and immediately grinned sheepishly.

"Auntie..." The woman couldn't keep her composure any longer and said with a forced smile, "Little brother, don't call me that. I'm only eighteen years old this year."

William said with an honest and simple expression, "Is your daughter eighteen? Tell me her name, maybe she's one of my senior classmates? I might know her!"

"Get out of here! Why don't you just die!" The woman seemed like a lit firecracker; she pulled out her wand, as if she wanted to cast a curse.

She tilted her head and smiled, then put down her wand, fumbled around, and pulled a clear bottle from her pocket.

She grinned and said, "Little brother, this is a powerful Veritaserum... Be a good boy and tell me the truth... Otherwise, I guarantee I'll dig up even your childhood bedwetting stories!"

William sniffed and chuckled, "It tastes bland, with a hint of lemon..."

"Your Veritaserum... is it expired? Tonks... Auntie?!"

Nymphadora Tonks angrily threw the bottle at William!
