Human Transfiguration
"Are we just going to the Hospital Wing like this?"
After leaving the restroom, Hermione realized something was amiss.
Being carried to the Hospital Wing by William is more likely than being surrounded by students after turning into Catwoman.
This is not a probability problem, but a real-world problem!
William put Hermione down, looked at her legs, and asked, "Can you walk by yourself?"
Hermione wobbled, took half a step, and then fell back into William's arms.
After taking the Polyjuice Potion containing cat hair, Hermione became a half-human, half-animal, so it's normal for her body to not adapt well.
She couldn't walk, so William had to carry her to the Hospital Wing.
"Or should I cast Disillusionment Charm on you?" William's Disillusionment Charm was already very powerful; most professors couldn't even tell it was real.
"But, if you're holding someone in your arms with nothing in front of you, doesn't that look weird?" Hermione said.
William nodded; this did provide him with a new idea.
When he goes back, he can use the Undetectable Extension Charm to make the ring's space larger, like Newt's alleyway, at least big enough to hide someone.
This kind of ring will definitely be more popular in the market, especially among male wizards... so that when their wives come to catch them cheating, the other person can hide inside.
William's thought process is truly unique!
"What are you thinking about?" Hermione asked, squinting.
Based on a woman's intuition, she felt that the other person was thinking about something unhealthy.
"It's nothing. Otherwise, I'll use Transfiguration to turn you into a kitten, then no one will notice."
William often holds Bobocha in his arms, and then holds a cat in his arms, without attracting anyone's attention.
"Oh well."
Then, a small orange kitten appeared in William's arms, and the two continued walking towards the Hospital Wing.
Soon, they encountered their first group of students... Anne, Luna, and Ginny!
The three people are playing hopscotch in the hallway.
It was Ginny's turn. She was supposed to throw her pebble onto the number "seven," but her technique wasn't good enough, and the pebble rolled onto the number "nine."
"Oh dear, your technique isn't good enough. Throwing stones requires skill; you need a flick of the wrist, a light touch, and choosing the right stone is also a complex art..."
William shook his head, took the pebble from Ginny, and prepared to show the three of them what real skill was.
He suddenly exclaimed, "Ouch!"
The orange cat in his arms bit his wrist hard.
"..."
Oh no! William saw his childhood memories and forgot Hermione.
"Sorry, you guys keep playing, I'm leaving now."
William returned the pebble to Ginny, letting the three little girls continue playing.
"Brother, where are you going?" Anne came over, holding a cup of her favorite oolong macchiato.
Wow! What a beautiful kitten!
Anne and Ginny were both around Hermione, petting her, while Luna stared thoughtfully at the kitten.
Clearly, her curiosity was piqued again, and she used Legilimency to discover the kitten's true identity.
However, Luna didn't speak, still looking dazed, as if she was thinking about the technique of throwing stones.
Anne touched it for a while, then said in confusion:
"Brother, why are the kitten's eyes so red?"
"She... might have her eye on the Oolong Macchiato you have."
"Oh, okay, then give it a drink." Anne handed the oolong macchiato to William.
"By the way, Anne, I might not be able to go home for Christmas, so you'll have to go back alone," William said after a moment's hesitation.
"Why?!"
Hermione is sick and needs someone to take care of her.
Anne paused, staring blankly at the cat, then turned and ran.
The little girl ran a short distance, then ran back, tears streaming down her face. "Is Hermione in the Hospital Wing? Was she attacked too? I'll go find Dumbledore save her!"
Then, she turned around and headed to the Headmaster's Office.
William freed one hand, pressed down on her head, and turned her around. "There was no attack, just a cold. She needs to be hospitalized at the Hospital Wing."
The little girl glared at William and said angrily, "You lied to me!"
"No, you can go see Hermione this afternoon and ask Madam Pomfrey if she has a cold."
"Alright then." Anne felt slightly relieved.
Goodbye then.
William continued walking towards the Hospital Wing, saying softly, "Anne actually likes you quite a bit."
Hermione meowed twice, then stuck out her red tongue and licked William's bitten wrist.
Hogwarts Hospital Wing.
Madam Pomfrey examined Hermione, and she was somewhat angry.
"William, I have to criticize you; you shouldn't have prepared the Polyjuice Potion!"
"Sorry, I just wanted to sell it to Diagon Alley."
William concealed the fact that Hermione had brewed Polyjuice Potion, which was against school rules, so he could only say that he had brewed it himself.
Pomfrey knew William's skill in Potions; he often brewed Potions to sell to Diagon Alley, so he wasn't too suspicious.
But Madam Pomfrey persisted, hands on her hips, and said angrily, "That's not what I meant!"
"It's normal for young people to have a bit of a curiosity. I was young once too, and I also sought thrills. I understand this mentality!"
But having Granger use Polyjuice Potion to turn into Catwoman... you two have gone too far!
"Pfft!" William spat out the whole oolong macchiato he was eating.
Hey, you're getting the wrong idea, aren't you?
Wait a minute... did Madam Pomfrey also seek thrills when she was young?
William seemed to have discovered something extraordinary.
"Professor, it's not what you think..."
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone, not even Dumbledore. I'm very tight-lipped, but this is a one-time exception!"
Madam Pomfrey gave her a "you're guilty" look, waved her wand, and swept up all the spilled milk coffee from the floor.
William quickly changed the subject, asking, "Then how can Hermione be treated?"
"It's complicated, you know. Polyjuice Potion can only Human Transfiguration, not the animal."
While such cases are not uncommon, the basic solution is still to drink Reparifarge while simultaneously casting Revealing Charm... The entire process takes about seven or eight weeks.
"So long? Does that mean it won't be back until next semester?" William frowned.
Madam Pomfrey is a professional; if she says so, she can't be wrong.
"What if we perform Human Transfiguration on Hermione every day? Would that speed up her recovery?" William suggested after thinking for a moment.
"Theoretically, it's possible, but it requires a very strong ability to Transfiguration, and it's quite complicated."
Madam Pomfrey thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "I had forgotten that you've mastered the Animagus and are also excellent at Transfiguration."
Transfiguration, strictly speaking, has many branches, including Animagus, Cross-Species Transfiguration, Human Transfiguration, etc.
Human Transfiguration, in short, is the Human Transfiguration... The most powerful of these is the ability to transform oneself into another person.
William had heard Newt mention the New York incident before.
At that time, Grindelwald became Percival Graves and infiltrated the Magical Congress of the United States of America.
Grindelwald did not Metamorphmagus, nor did he use Polyjuice Potion. Instead, he directly used Human Transfiguration, constantly Transfiguration parts of his face and body to become a different person.
Graves is an Auror who also serves as the Director of Magical Security and the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Magical Congress of the United States of America.
Grindelwald thus became a high-ranking official, swaggering into the Magical Congress of the United States of America, and no one ever noticed...
What incredible Transfiguration!
Even William now couldn't possibly do that!
William thinks there's nothing wrong with calling Grindelwald "King Grindelwald"... right?
