Gold-Medal Secret Agent Number Three Comes Online
It's no wonder Rita was so nervous; it was the first time her little secret had been discovered... and this secret was the very foundation of her existence.
If this gets leaked, not only will she end up in Azkaban, but even if she gets out eventually, people will be wary of her.
My life is ruined, and my future is gone!
So now she's truly in William's grasp, and he can do whatever he wants with her.
"William, whatever you need, as long as I have it, we're open to discussion. Galleon, or would you like me to be your ghostwriter?"
Having been caught red-handed, Rita had no choice but to admit defeat and begin negotiating terms.
Having been in the Wizarding World for so many years, what hasn't Rita seen?
She's no longer a naive little girl. For her, nothing is off-limits; if there is, it's because the price isn't high enough.
What about those high-ranking officials in the Ministry of Magic? What about the old Pure-blood families?
We're all the same; we talk about justice, but all we care about is business.
In the words of the old wizard Jack Ma:
"As long as you, ' Avada Kedavra,' don't kill me, and I accidentally come back to life, we can still make a deal!"
William was pleased with Rita's cooperative attitude. He waved his wand and put the woman down again.
"Before that, I need to ask you a few questions."
"Of course, I'll answer anything I know," Rita said with a sweet smile.
She took a mirror out of her crocodile bag and touched up her makeup, still maintaining her impeccable appearance even in this condition.
Hermione stared in disbelief.
When did you start targeting me?
"When you received the Order of Merlin."
"I mean... how did you know I was staying here for Christmas?!"
William took Hermione back to the cabin, and very few people knew about it.
"I heard it from Stan Shunpike. He said you came here on the Knight Bus during the summer, so I came to try my luck at Christmas."
William was speechless; this Shunpike really had no sense of propriety when it came to talking.
I will never ride the Knight Bus again.
No, the correct approach would be to acquire the Knight Bus and then fire him.
"How did you get into this house?" William asked again.
"I don't know either. I couldn't find the house before, so I asked around." Rita shrugged.
"I found Lovegood, but he wouldn't tell me, so I turned into a beetle and climbed onto the little girl's back."
"She went into the courtyard, and I was blocked by magic again. Then you came out, and I lay on your clothes and followed you in," Rita replied.
William thought for a moment, then suddenly realized.
William is the Secret Keeper of the house's secrets; no one can enter without his permission.
But Rita lying on William meant that he was actively bringing her into the protective range of the Fidelius Charm.
William had never paid attention to this before; he never expected that the Fidelius Charm would have such a loophole.
It's not really a loophole, after all, who would expect a wizard to turn into a beetle and attach himself to you?
Therefore, even the Fidelius Charm should not be blindly believed. William still needs to find other protective spells to cast around the house.
Once he understood all this, he completely relaxed.
William waved his wand, and the sketch paper flew out of Rita's hand.
As he looked at the contents of the paper, he couldn't help but feel a sharp pain in his kidneys.
"The house was supposed to be a warm haven, but it has become a prison, and it even holds a catwoman."
I don't know the relationship between Catwoman and Stark, nor do I dare to know... But I, who wield my pen like a weapon, have exposed many empty and pretentious reputations, and this time is no exception.
Clearly, this little house was Mr. Stark's favorite place to come.
But this is not good news for our poor catwoman.
According to a wizard who wished to remain anonymous, strange noises would come from the house every time Stark returned.
Our catwoman is probably suffering the most horrific attacks and even abuse.
I hope everyone stays away from negativity. In your replies, I only want to see your loving blessings for Catwoman.
I feel so sorry for her, what about you?
Holy crap... Rita's only been in the house for a few minutes, and she's already made up such a bizarre story?
Look at what it means to be blessed by God!
Hermione leaned forward, wanting to see what was on the sketch paper. William wouldn't let her; the contents were clearly inappropriate for children and would shock their values.
He waved his wand, flames erupted, and the sketchbook turned to ashes.
William then pointed his wand at Rita.
Rita raised her hand, looking frightened, and said, "William, I can change it! Don't be angry, I'll write it however you want, I'll do whatever you say."
"I don't want you to write any more reports about me, or about the people around me." William gently fiddled with his wand.
Do you understand?
"Understood!" Rita quickly assured her.
William didn't believe Rita's assurances; he still needed to modify her memory later to make her forget Hermione's part.
"It's simple if you want me to stop reporting you: just help me gather some intelligence in the future."
"You want intelligence?" Rita was taken aback, clearly not understanding William's intentions.
She initially thought William wanted to Galleon, but it turned out the boy just wanted information.
She's an expert!
"That's right, all you need to do is tell me the information."
"Deal." Rita nodded immediately.
William smiled with satisfaction. He was now severely lacking in intelligence and needed a top-notch little spy like Rita.
Rita's intelligence-gathering abilities are undoubtedly far superior to those of Tonks and Bertha.
"I need some intelligence right now," William said.
"Whose is it?" Rita asked, perking up.
"Malfoy, what has he been up to lately?" The diary was clearly related to Lucius Malfoy.
"Oh, let me think." Rita pondered for a moment.
"Hasn't Hogwarts been having a little trouble lately? Malfoy is contacting the School Governor, trying to get Dumbledore removed from his post."
William nodded slightly, something Malfoy would do.
If this intelligence is used effectively, it could potentially get Malfoy removed from the twelve School Governor.
William didn't believe Dumbledore wouldn't know that the headmaster's "little birds" were all over the world, and that there must be his people on the School Governor.
Since there was no action taken, Dumbledore probably wanted to wait for Malfoy to make his move first, and then close the net.
Dumbledore loves being passive!
"William, is there anything else you want to ask?"
"That's all for now. I'll contact you again if I need anything," William said.
Rita hesitated for a moment, then said seriously, "The youngest recipient of the Order of Merlin... William, you don't deserve this kind of fame; it doesn't match your achievements."
"Accept my interview, and I'll help you make it happen. You'll definitely be a household name all over the world. Let's work together..."
"Get out!"
Rita grabbed the crocodile bag and quickly stood up, but William's wand suddenly pointed at her head.
Stupefy.
"William, what are you doing?" Hermione asked, puzzled.
"We need to erase Rita's memories of you, otherwise she might go around telling everyone," William explained.
He wouldn't dare to bring such a thing into Rita's moral compass; she was a woman with very few principles.
Even if she doesn't write it in the newspaper, she can find a ghostwriter to report it in a distorted way.
"By the way, Hermione, where's Professor Dumbledore's picture frame?"
I put it in a box.
"I'm busy right now, could you bring it to me for a moment? I need to consult the professor about something."
Hermione nodded and obediently went to get the picture frame.
(To explain, in the Deathly Hallows, Yaxley captures Hermione, who then Apparition Hermione to Grimmauld Place. Hermione is the Secret Keeper, which allows Yaxley to enter Sirius's house, essentially revealing the secret. Therefore, Rita transforms into a beetle on William's back; William is the Secret Keeper, this also fulfills the condition for revealing the secret.)
