Couples' Breakup Day
William looked at the girl's gaping teeth and couldn't help but laugh.
The little girl's smile vanished as she quickly covered her mouth to hide her teeth, which, while ruining the overall look, were undeniably adorable.
They looked at each other.
They stared at each other, wide-eyed.
A moment later, she demanded fiercely, "You're William Stark, the vicious fugitive wanted in the newspapers?!"
"Hmm, if it's a fugitive... it's probably me." William's smile faded, and his voice turned serious. "If you go to the Ministry of Magic now and provide information, you can get five hundred Galleon! If you catch me, it'll be five thousand Galleon."
Would you like to consider it?
The little girl's eyes darted around, as if she were calculating how many lollipops five hundred Galleon could buy.
She thought for two seconds before speaking loudly:
"No, recent news reports say you're not a fugitive, and that you even saved Paris..."
"That's fake," William chuckled. "I didn't save them; my sister Anne and Hermione did. Everyone was fooled."
"Indeed!" the little girl snorted. "You..."
She raised her chin, squinted, and scrutinized William from head to toe. "He looks unremarkable, nothing special. I don't believe it!"
"Too bad, it's no use if you don't believe me, your sister does." William blinked. "As long as I can fool her, that's enough."
If Phoebe hadn't been mentioned, things would have been fine, but as soon as her older sister was brought up, the little girl's eyes immediately became wary, and she glared at William with the eyes of someone looking at an enemy.
Who knew that this handsome older brother with an irresistibly gentle smile would infuriate her so much in the next second that she was practically fuming.
"Gabrielle, are you drooling?" William wiped the water from his face.
"... I don't!"
"Then where did the water on my face come from? You're the only one around here. You've lost several teeth, so you speak with a lisp, and now you're even leaking water."
"... It's not my saliva!" The little girl pointed to the water on the table.
"I don't care, I'm going to tell Phoebe that her sister spat on me."
"I already said no... I'll fight you to the death!"
The little girl was furious and used a "rocket headbutt" on William, William reached out and blocked the girl's head with one hand.
"Let go of me right now, or I won't let you get away with this!" Gabrielle waved her hands, uttering a weak threat.
"Okay, you told me to let go." William nodded.
The moment he let go, he jumped up, turned around, and quickly left the recliner.
Without any support from her arms, the girl collapsed directly onto the soft chair.
Gabrielle hurriedly stood up, searching for William. Instead of banging her head against the glass, she raised the Rainbow Bubbles Gun in her hand.
The Rainbow Bubbles Gun is a prank product from Akali's Mystery Shop. Once you touch the sprayed bubbles, you will be enveloped in a giant bubble and float in mid-air.
William made this thing.
He stepped back to avoid being hit by the bubble, otherwise his reputation as an eagle would be ruined by a single egg.
Seeing that William was about to run away, Gabrielle gave chase, determined to deliver a fatal blow to this despicable fellow.
But he was running too fast, and the sand was too slippery. After only a few steps, he stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
A strong arm supported her forehead, stopping her from falling forward.
While chasing others, she almost tripped over herself... The little girl felt extremely embarrassed, so she grabbed William's hand and bit down hard.
William raised his left hand, bent down, and gently twisted Gabrielle's ear.
The two, one big and one small, were locked in a stalemate, testing their endurance with their eyes, debating whether he would let go first or she would give in first.
William didn't use any force, but Gabrielle felt her ear being grabbed, burning hot.
With tears welling up in her eyes, she surrendered and let go of her lips.
William smiled and, as he would with his sister Anne, gently pinched Gabrielle's rosy cheeks.
The little girl was heartbroken, as if William had taken advantage of her.
Just then, a clear voice came from afar. "Stop playing around."
William looked up, his eyes momentarily glazed over.
Phoebe stood under the broad leaves of a banana tree not far away, her long, cascading silver hair reaching her waist.
She looked this way with a smile, her blue eyes like the gentle ripples of a deep blue sea.
"My sister's here, let's see how she teaches you a lesson!" the little girl shouted, shaking off William's hand and rushing over, looking mischievous as if she was about to turn the tables on him.
William smiled slightly, picked up the bubble gun that had fallen to the ground, and sat down in the chair again.
Gabrielle ran over, buried her head in Phoebe's arms, pointed at William, and her eyes welled up with tears.
William had only taken a sip of water when he saw Gabrielle's incredulous expression.
Gabrielle looked aggrieved. Her sister, who always doted on her, didn't side with her but instead reprimanded her, contrary to her usual behavior.
Phoebe, holding Gabrielle's hand, walked slowly over and sat down on the chair next to William.
"My name is Gabrielle Delacour, nice to meet you." Gabrielle pouted. "Sorry, I shouldn't have splashed water on your face."
"Hello, my name is William Stark." William forced a smile. "It's alright, I've already forgiven you."
While her sister wasn't looking, Gabrielle made a face at William again.
Then, William waved the bubble gun in his hand.
Before the little girl's smile could even freeze, Phoebe's stern voice rang out again. "Gabrielle, what did I tell you? You can't use magical products in Muggle settings."
Phoebe took the bubble gun from William and said angrily, "This is only for playing at home. What if a Muggle sees it?"
Gabrielle was stunned, realizing she had been tricked by William.
"Yes, if Muggle find out, they'll expel you from school," William quickly chimed in. "Do you know Mr. Newt Scamander?"
"I don't know." Gabrielle shook her head in confusion.
Newt is long past his prime; Gabrielle, a France wizard, certainly wouldn't recognize him.
"He got expelled from school for doing something similar," William blurted out. "He later became a frequent visitor to prison."
"You don't want to be fired before you even get to Beauxbatons, do you?"
Gabrielle hurriedly shook her head, her face filled with fear.
"Then behave and don't play with this kind of thing in public." William casually placed the Sorting Hat on Gabrielle's head.
"I need to talk to your sister alone about how to prevent you from getting fired from Beauxbatons. Can we chat for a bit?"
The little girl tilted her head and thought for a moment, then left Phoebe's embrace, waving her little hand vigorously:
You two really need to have a serious discussion!
The little girl skipped away from the two and ran towards the Dahei that was sleeping in the corner.
"Is that the Sorting Hat you mentioned in your letter?" Phoebe's gaze was drawn to the hat.
She frowned, surprised that the Sorting Hat was so worn.
"That's right, Anne brought it out. I don't know what excuse she used to trick her into giving up the hat."
"Where are they?" Phoebe asked, her eyes lighting up with interest.
They're all swimming over there; I'll introduce them to you later.
If a third person were present, they would notice that the Dialogue between the two was strange: William spoke French, while Phoebe spoke English.
William speaks French better, and while Phoebe's English is fluent, it still has a slight accent.
But it's much better than when we first met. Back then, Phoebe could only say "sorry" and "hello."
However, in Phoebe's words, "She's clearly a better teacher, while William isn't a very competent English teacher."
"You came all the way to France and didn't even come to see me?" Phoebe tossed her hair and gave me a slight glare. "So I have to come find you?"
"There was a little mishap in Paris." William gave an awkward laugh.
To prevent him from asking about the France girl, William quickly changed the subject. "You've mastered controlling your allure."
"Yes," Phoebe said, staring intently at William, "But it's still of no use to you."
"But it's quite useful for other people." William shrugged.
Ever since Phoebe appeared, the men on the beach have been staring at her intently, as if bewitched.
Many people were distraught, as if they had lost their souls.
Clearly, today isn't a good day for dating; it's more of a breakup day for couples, and many will probably be saying goodbye.
Just then, Gabrielle, who was not far away, turned around and shouted excitedly:
"Sister, the Sorting Hat just told me that if I go to Hogwarts, I can be sorted into Azkaban!"
William, which house is Azkaban? Is it the most prestigious house?
