The torches were lit, casting shadowy light inside the cave.

The man, dressed in a black animal robe and covered in mud, opened the iron cage and roughly threw the two girls inside.

Click! The door was locked.

Inside this cave, there were a dozen or so similar iron cages scattered around, most of which contained children who had just been captured.

A terrifying, grating voice said, "Smelly little chick... What a delicious meal... I love tender, delicate flesh... Boss, let me take a bite first."

"I'll bite your banana!" Jacob, the Werewolf leader, said gruffly.

"Moose, this is for sale to customers. Such a delicate and fair-skinned girl can fetch a good price. They love this kind of girl, so we must protect her well!"

"But in the end, we still have to bite them and turn them into Werewolf," Moose muttered.

"Then let's wait until the moonlight is at its brightest, and do it at Starlight Pool!" Jacob grabbed Moose by the neck and said gruffly, "If you dare move, I'll bite off three of your legs and use them as a snack!"

"I understand... I won't, boss," Moose said in a panic.

"Good to know, I'm already looking for a new buyer." Jacob said unhappily, "That Skender guy, I don't know where he's run off to! Lately, all the goods are starting to pile up."

"The owner of the Mysterious Circus, wasn't he bitten by that woman Mormont?"

"Yes." Jacob spat and sneered, "This is the first time I've ever encountered a customer who's been bitten by the goods."

I never imagined that Mormont would come back one day after we sold him out.

"I don't think I saw Mormont when I returned to the island."

"She probably ran away... I know, she's always wanted to kill me, after all, I bit her and turned her into Werewolf."

"Alright, let's go get something to eat." Jacob said to a Werewolf who had been silent beside him, "Rickon, you stay here and watch over... these goods, no one is allowed to come near them."

I know you're the most honest one.

Rickon has a simple and honest smile, which shows his honesty and reliability at first glance.

He lowered his head and said, "Of course, boss, leave this to me."

Jacob reluctantly walked outside with Moose in his arms.

As the footsteps faded into the distance, Rickon, whom the boss had described as an "honest man," squatted down and secretly pulled a gold watch from his pocket.

He stared at the gold watch with fascination.

Her eyes gleamed with a fascination.

All possessions on the prey must be handed over, but Rickon, who captured Anne and Gabrielle, did not this time.

He had never seen such a beautiful watch before! He decided to keep it and pawn it at Gringotts!

A man cannot live without a safe deposit box, and that box cannot be filled with nothing but treasures.

Jacob didn't suspect Rickon of stealing the food, since he was known as an honest man.

Gabrielle lay shivering in the cage, sobbing softly, her eyes red from crying. She felt a sharp pain in her chest, an uncontrollable force threatening to burst forth.

Anne noticed Gabrielle's unusual behavior, took the little girl's hand, and gently wiped away the tears on her cheeks.

It was pouring rain the whole way, and Anne's little face was red from the cold, looking quite comical and cute. Yet, she still mimicked her brother's gentle way of speaking to Hermione:

"Don't be afraid, your brother will come to save us. Don't cry, Hermione will laugh at you if she sees you crying your eyes out, she's the worst!"

Anne kissed Gabrielle on the forehead and then gently hugged her.

Although Gabrielle couldn't understand English, she gradually calmed down as she lay in Anne's arms, looking up at those dark green eyes that were exactly the same as William's.

The magical turmoil within her was gradually calmed down.

Anne's eyes darted around, then she suddenly remembered something. She hugged Gabrielle, and with one hand, she quietly fumbled around her neck, pulling out a small silver pendant.

William typically uses rings to store items for creating the Undetectable Extension Charm.

Anne didn't like the ring, so she asked her brother to change it into a pendant.

Even with a better Safety Watch, she didn't throw away the pendant.

There were many interesting little trinkets inside, but she was too lazy to move them out, so she just left them there.

The Safety Watch was too conspicuous and was stolen, but the pendant is still around my neck.

This damn procrastination!

Anne absolutely adores this little quirk.

After a while, Rickon stood up and said sternly, "Hey, you two, what are you whispering about? Don't say a word!"

Anne looked frightened and hurriedly hid something behind her back.

"What is that!" Rickon shoved the Safety Watch into his pocket, walked to the cage, and knocked on it.

Anne seemed terrified, and tremblingly raised her hand, a silver pendant appearing in her palm.

"Give it to me now!" A greedy glint flashed in Rickon's eyes.

Anne hugged Gabrielle and backed away in fear.

Rickon pricked up his ears and listened carefully to the front hall for a while, then took out his wand and aimed it at the chains.

The cage door opened, Rickon rushed inside.

Anne tossed the pendant onto the cage.

Rickon didn't think much of it and bent down to pick it up.

"Now!" Anne threw a bouncing egg, which hit Rickon on the head.

White smoke billowed out, blinding Rickon and making him unable to see anything for a moment.

"Sharpshooter" Gabrielle, holding Rainbow Bubbles Gun, shot out a bubble. The bubble touched Rickon, and he instantly floated up, his feet off the ground.

Anne popped the bubble, Rickon fell down, twisting his ankle and nearly falling to the ground.

Anne pulled out her bat, as if hitting Bludger, and swung it hard, sending Rickon sprawling to the ground.

Anne pulled Gabrielle forward, and the two of them kicked each other seven or eight times, still not satisfied, all of them landing on Rickon's groin.

This is the ultimate self-defense fighting technique that Lyanna taught Anne!

The opponent screamed a few times and was completely incapacitated.

Anne searched Rickon's body, found the Safety Watch, took out her wand, grabbed Gabrielle, and ran outside.

The children in the other cages started making a fuss and shouting for help.

A commotion arose in the front hall, and the Werewolf, hearing the calls from deep within the cave, rushed over.

"We'll come back to save you, or none of you will escape!" Anne shouted.

She ignored the children, hurriedly pulled out a dozen or so prank toys, threw them all at Gabrielle, and then pulled out the Nimbus 2001 from the Safety Watch.

"Let's go!" Anne, with her arm around Gabrielle, mounted the broom and sped away.

A sudden gust of air caused the torches on the wall to sway precariously.

The lights went out.

Only a Werewolf who had fainted and a group of terrified children remained.

After flying for less than twenty seconds, Anne saw a group of wizards blocking her way.

Gabrielle threw Dungbomb and various smoke bombs from a distance in an attempt to disperse the group.

Several beams of light attacked at once, but Anne, caught in the middle, remained calm and spun around like a top, her broom tracing an arc as she narrowly avoided the curse.

Gabrielle sprayed her bubble gun, and several Werewolf floated up. Anne sprinted forward, then with a loud bang, her broom slammed into her side, sending her flying. She crashed heavily seven or eight meters away, instantly losing consciousness.

Using a sudden burst of rebound force, Anne spun her broom, making a half-circle in the air, steadied it, and flew off to the other side.

"Oh no, they've gone to Starlight Pool!" Jacob said, his face contorted with rage.

The so-called Starlight Pool is a deep pool formed by groundwater inside a karst cave. There is a narrow opening in the water, and starlight falls on the surface of the water at night.

It is the place where Werewolf perform their transformation rituals.

It is also the only exit besides the cave entrance.

Jacob Werewolf, led a pack of Werewolf out of the cave and saw Anne and Gabrielle emerge from the same opening and fly into the sky.

Suddenly, lightning flashed and thunder roared, and thick clouds gathered in the sky.

"Great, they escaped!" the two girls cheered.

But the flying broomstick had only flown a hundred or two meters when it was struck by a strong wind and fell uncontrollably toward the other side of the island.

"Don't chase them!" Jacob said coldly. "That beast's territory, she's about to give birth... those two girls are dead!"
