Malfoy Dead?

Draco Malfoy... is dead!!

Herbology had just ended, and they hadn't gone far from the greenhouse when a group of passing Gryffindor wizards brought this truly devastating "news flashback."

The news was indeed explosive, but William remained unfazed, simply responding with a calm "oh."

Then, the phrase that popped into his mind was. "The wind is even noisy today."

He may seem cold and indifferent, but ever since William enrolled, with Prefect Robert, Professor Tywin, Quirrell... people have died every year!

As the time loop continued, the Basilisk swept its gaze across the Quidditch arena, seeing piles and piles of dead bodies, like dumplings being dropped into a pot!

William was somewhat numb, even used to it. After all, deaths at Hogwarts weren't uncommon; it would be strange if no one died.

Therefore, William's question was: Has death come so early this year?

In previous years, it would have been at least after Halloween... It's only the first day of school now, and even the dead don't follow the basic law?

Attackers, do you even know what Hogwarts tradition is?

Qiu was terrified upon hearing the news, but William calmly comforted her, saying, "Stay calm and learn to remain composed in the face of adversity."

What a load of rubbish! William can do whatever he wants just because he has the Ravenclaw Ring.

William initially thought it was either the Thunderbird attacking Malfoy, or the Dementor causing the security guards to attack the students.

But upon closer inquiry, it turned out that it was the Hippogriff in Hagrid's class that had given Malfoy a good beating.

The descriptions were so vivid, it was as if everyone was there, witnessing this human tragedy firsthand.

At first, several Gryffindor students told William that Malfoy had just died in the Hospital Wing and that his body was still warm.

A little while later, they encountered several Ravenclaw students who said: Malfoy died on the spot, his pancreas was eaten, his intestines were dragged all over the ground, and he lost hundreds of liters of blood.

This is terrible!

Later, Hufflepuff said that after Malfoy died, he became a ghost and became lovers with Moaning Myrtle, living happily in the bathroom.

Okay, the tragedy has taken a turn, and it's now a happy ending!

This is absolutely a rumor that Moaning Myrtle had someone spread.

She was probably the one who most wanted Malfoy to die and become a ghost.

Moaning Myrtle also had a series of lists of students who had died in her mind. Every year, she would pick a few handsome young men she liked and write them down, like a death note.

To this day, no one knows who the hidden top-ranking figure is.

After hearing more than a dozen versions of the rumors, William finally confirmed that Malfoy was not dead, but only slightly injured.

He and Cho entered the Great Hall and immediately spotted Harry and Ron at the Gryffindor table.

Because Ron was sobbing, Harry held him and comforted him softly, looking like he wanted to take responsibility.

"They went to visit Hagrid right after class," Fred explained.

"Ron had just entered the house when he spotted a Dahei."

George continued, "Ron thinks it's Grim! He's terrified now, constantly saying he's going to die."

"Dahei isn't Grim; it's Anne's pet dog," William said, speechless.

"What?" Harry looked up and asked. "Whose dog?"

"That dog was left with Hagrid at noon; it's Anne's pet," William said, shrugging.

"Alright, Ron, did you hear that? Cheer up!" Harry shouted.

"It's just a pet, Anne's pet, not Grim."

"No... you don't understand, Harry, isn't it too much of a coincidence?" Ron trembled all over.

"Professor Trelawney said this morning that I had bad luck, and this afternoon I encountered a black dog... This is an ominous sign, an ominous sign of death!"

"Ron, if it really is an ominous sign, it wouldn't be Malfoy who was attacked, it would be you." George frowned.

"Yeah, and this morning, you heard what Professor McGonagall said, didn't you?" Harry patted Ron on the shoulder. "Professor Trelawney predicts one death every year, you're just... unlucky."

If it were me making that prediction, I definitely wouldn't believe it.

"No..." Ron insisted, "I originally wanted to ride that Hippogriff, but I didn't see the Grim, so Malfoy beat me to it."

"And that black dog, did you see it? It went berserk and attacked me. If it hadn't been in a cage, it would have killed me!"

My heart is still pounding! Feel it if you don't believe me!

Harry had no choice but to reach out and touch it.

Pale-faced Ron grasped Harry's hand and murmured, "I can feel it, Harry! A malevolent force is enveloping me... Death is drawing ever closer..."

Ron started sobbing again; he was already considering taking a break from school.

Hogwarts is far too dangerous.

William and the twins exchanged a glance, concluding that Ron's mental state was somewhat problematic.

"How is Malfoy?" Cedric asked as he approached.

"We just sneaked off to the Hospital Wing and found he's almost fully recovered, but he's still complaining of pain," Fred said.

"He's faking it!" George said. "Let's go check it out again. Dumbledore's probably here too, and we can eavesdrop on how they're dealing with Hagrid."

The twins left.

William, Cedric, and Cho left the Great Hall, crossed the lawn, and went to visit Hagrid.

Harry wanted to go too, but Ron's mental state was unstable, so he could only continue to comfort his good friend and give him a sense of security.

When William arrived at the cabin, Anne and Hermione were at the door tending to Dahei.

Anne was wrapping bandages around the dog through the cage, round and round, making it look like a mummy.

The bandages on his head were already bleeding, and Dahei was extremely listless.

It seems it really wanted to bite Ron; it even banged its head against the wall and it was bleeding.

Is there really Grim about Ron?

William and the other two went inside, Hagrid was packing his things. He forced a smile and said, "William, you've arrived?"

Hagrid's hands trembled so much that he crushed the metal bowl that Fang was eating from.

Fang raised its head and whimpered, then lay back down on the ground with its ears drooping.

"This is probably a new record," Hagrid said dejectedly, slumping into his chair.

"I don't think they've ever seen a teacher who's only worked one day."

"They won't fire you, Hagrid," Cho comforted her. "It's not your fault."

"No... it's all the same, isn't it? That's Malfoy, his father..."

Hagrid covered his face. "The School Governor also knows about this, and they think I've been too reckless."

I should wait a while before bringing out the Hippogriff... after I've finished the Flobberworm or something else... I thought I was being cautious enough.

I might not even keep my job as the key manager.

Hagrid was clearly overthinking it; he couldn't possibly be expelled, much less kicked out of Hogwarts.

Last semester, after Dumbledore removed Malfoy from the School Governor, the entire school became a place where the headmaster had absolute power.

Malfoy had neither the right nor the ability to decide a teacher's fate.

Hagrid should be worried not about his position, but about that Hippogriff... it will surely be sentenced to death.

After all, it wasn't under Hogwarts' jurisdiction, but rather belonged to the Ministry of Ministry of Magic's Beast Division!
