On Christmas morning, William was woken up by Bobocha.

Early in the morning, it left its warm little nest and plunged into the pile of gifts, sticking its rear end out and tearing at the Christmas gift wrappings with its paws.

Bobocha gave us a lot of gifts, more than a dozen in total, all kinds of snacks and strange little toys.

For example... an inflatable cat doll.

William glanced at the name; it was delivered by Filch on behalf of Mrs. Norris. The purpose was obvious: get the hell out of Mrs. Norris's sights!

Filch must not know anything about Muggle items; he probably consulted Professor Burbage, Muggle Studies professor.

Good heavens, Professor Burbage suddenly became reliable at this moment. It seems that his research direction is quite niche.

William was curious about what exactly Dumbledore and Professor Burbage's interview.

Otherwise, why would Professor Dumbledore have consistently claimed that Professor Burbage was a professional?

Besides the gifts from the wizard, there were also Bobocha's friends... Fawkes and Fluffy!

Fawkes sent one of its tail feathers; Fluffy sent a large, cleanly shaved bone.

William confiscated the feathers as a Christmas gift from Bobocha. As for the bones, he could keep them for it to sharpen its claws.

William gave Bobocha a pound of catnip-flavored cat litter, hoping it would stay focused when using the litter box.

All the eaglets had gone home, leaving William alone in the dormitory. He couldn't sleep because of the noise from the Bobocha, so he had no choice but to get up too.

William gave more gifts than Bobocha.

A huge pile of chocolates, as usual, I don't look at them.

Fewer people are giving chocolates this year. After a few years of observation, the girls have discovered that William doesn't eat chocolate, especially Chocolate Frog.

So, chocolate was transformed into books and various daily necessities. And then there were the gifts of women's clothing—what's the meaning of all this?

William picked and chose, and soon spotted Phoebe's gift.

It was a long, narrow box. When he opened it, he was surprised to find that it was a magic wand!

It's not a fake wand, but a genuine wand made in France.

William had a habit of collecting wands; he himself had many spare wands.

For example, the Basilisk horn Core and the Whomping Willow Wand that Cedric made.

In addition, there was a large number of magic wands seized by the France.

William was also taken aback when he read the description on the box:

Thirteen inches, well-toughened, cedar wood, Veela hair.

Needless to say, the core of the staff probably came from Phoebe herself.

Veela hair can be used to make wands. The core of Phoebe's wand came from her grandmother.

Phoebe has Veela blood; her hair is silver like the Veela's and also possesses magic, making her somewhat suitable as a wand core.

William waved his wand and whispered, "Incendio!"

The orange flame landed on the note and quickly ignited. William was destroying evidence to prevent Hermione from finding out; the core of the staff was Phoebe's hair.

Otherwise, this wand would most likely have been confiscated.

William flicked his wand; its power was alright, but it was a bit too sensitive and not very comfortable to use.

It felt a lot like Quaffle, covered in lubricant.

Although the ball is large and played with many times, applying lubricant makes it slippery, which is not conducive to careful handling and also affects shooting.

There was also a letter in the box.

William's brows furrowed as he opened the package.

In her letter, Phoebe wrote, "The Thunderbird appeared in Beauxbatons and attacked Emerald Lake on campus."

That night, Madame Maxime was admiring the moon and reciting poetry in the pavilion in the middle of the lake when she was suddenly struck by lightning.

The pavilion collapsed, and she herself fell into the lake.

Maxime is furious and is ready to kill the Thunderbird.

William felt sorry for Madame Maxime, but the thought of her large frame falling into the lake and struggling to doggy paddle... inexplicably made him laugh.

William was speechless. What on earth had gotten into that Thunderbird?

And why did they end up in Beauxbatons?

What is she looking for?

Hey sis, could you give this bro a heads-up?

William quickly opened Gabrielle's gift.

Gabrielle gave her a photo album containing family portraits, but mostly selfies of herself.

William was about to open Dumbledore's gift when he was drawn to something else.

It was a long, thin package, and its shape resembled a flying broom.

William tore open the package, and sure enough, it contained a flying broom:

The broom features a beautiful streamlined design, a high-quality ash wood handle, and a carefully selected birch branch at the end, which has been polished into a streamlined shape and is topped with a gold registration number.

William let go, and the broom automatically hovered in mid-air, without any support, at a perfect height for him to ride on.

--Firebolt!

He examined the package carefully but couldn't find the sender's name.

Oh ho, still being mysterious?!

Woman, you've successfully caught my attention!

William stubbornly believed that it must have been a gift from some wealthy female fan, whose purpose was to discourage him from working hard.

William was about to ride it to check if it was a counterfeit when someone barged in.

It's Hermione and Anne!

The Ravenclaw door knocker problem was no challenge for the two women, as they had entered the Ravenclaw Common Room many times before.

Hermione blushed crimson, stared at the Firebolt, and shrieked, "I knew it, William! Someone anonymously sent you a Christmas present too!"

"Yes, did someone else give it to you?" William frowned slightly.

It seems she's not a wealthy woman, but rather a devoted fan of both of them.

After the Paris attacks, William and Hermione's fanatical fans grew in number. They received many letters and gifts every day.

"It's probably not a fan." Hermione seemed to know what William was thinking; she whispered, "Anne received it too."

"That's right," Anne said, hands on her hips, chin held high, chest puffed out, making no attempt to hide her excitement.

"Brother, are you sure you didn't give me that Firebolt?"

William shook his head.

He originally planned to give the Nimbus 2000 to Anne and then buy a new one for himself.

How could they possibly send Firebolt?

Since even Anne received a gift, it seems we can rule out fan behavior.

"Hermione, is yours also Firebolt?" William asked after a moment's thought.

"No!" Hermione shook her head. "Mine is an Invisibility Cloak!"

Hermione handed her a greyish-black robe.

William's examination revealed that it was indeed an Invisibility Cloak.

Strictly speaking, there are three types of Invisibility Cloak cloaks:

It's made by casting Disillusionment Charm on a regular cloak. This kind of Invisibility Cloak is the least effective, and William can also make it.

The second type is a high-end product made from the fur of the Demiguise. It lasts for a long time and has a good camouflage effect.

Finally, there's the Invisibility Cloak from the Deathly Hallows.

Hermione's Invisibility Cloak is made from the fur of Demiguise, and its price is as high as that of the Firebolt.

Sending three expensive gifts anonymously... Where can you find such a wealthy friend?

The three of them sat on the bed, thinking for a long time without any clue.

The person who gave the gift knew William and his two companions well and was willing to spend money on them.

William's richest friends are Nicolas and Dumbledore.

Dumbledore only ever gave gifts he made himself, and Nicolas would never send gifts anonymously.

Could it be the female Werewolf Mormont? That doesn't make sense; she hasn't unified the France Werewolf world yet.

She is still very poor, and William has been helping her out.

Cregan is even less likely. The gift he sent was the Devil's Snare, the one Hermione released in his office last time.

Such a stingy person would never give such an expensive gift.

Professor Snape was even less likely to do so, because he had given away Potions this year anyway.

Professor Snape developed a specific antidote for the Acromantula Venom.

As was the custom last year, he gave William only a paltry three drops!

Professor Snape was the master of scarcity marketing.

Knowing William's personality, he would definitely want to research the antidote for the Acromantula.

Only three drops were sent, making it impossible to analyze the ingredients.

Snape was just waiting for William to come knocking so he could raise the price.

He's an old vampire bat.

(Seeking recommendations and monthly tickets from all the big shots at the beginning of the month.)
