William's Winning Shot!
The collapse of Gryffindor came faster than expected.
The reasons are multifaceted, but the key lies with Angelina.
She seemed to have suffered a concussion; although she remembered she was in a competition, her reaction was a beat slow.
But Gryffindor had no choice but to grit their teeth and let her hit them.
One of the rules of Quidditch Match:
In the event of an injury, no other player may be substituted. The team must continue playing after the injured player leaves the field.
In other words, Angelina either has to leave the game or play while injured.
It's impossible for her to leave the game; if she leaves, Gryffindor will undoubtedly lose.
Playing with an injury, he can still struggle for a while, holding on and waiting for Harry to catch the Golden Snitch.
The best approach would be to give the Firebolt to Alicia, allowing her to team up with Harry again for a pincer attack.
Unfortunately, exchanging brooms is also against the rules.
Wood decisively changed tactics, reverting to the old version, and focused Harry's attention entirely on the Golden Snitch.
Without Harry and Angelina's combined attack, William seemed like an eel burrowing into a moist stream.
With his superb broomstick riding and ball-handling skills, he wreaked havoc and did whatever he pleased in Gryffindor's scoring division.
Wood was in superb form today, seemingly possessed by Malfoy, unleashing one Scorpion Kick after another, making numerous difficult saves.
But William scored... even more!
The more he played, the hotter his touch became, and he even started pulling off fancy moves when double-teamed by three or four players. His playing style was incredibly fluid, elegant, and unrestrained.
Many Gryffindor students also switched sides at the last minute and cheered for him.
Professor Snape, the old enigmatic sleuth, seized this golden opportunity.
He tossed his hair, and a large amount of dandruff, like snowflakes, drifted in the wind.
He held his magic wand, and like the greatest musician, he waved his arms, directing the little snakes to shout slogans:
That's it?
That's it?
"Gryffindor a panic!!"
As they shouted, the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students joined in the shouting.
As a result, Gryffindor completely lost their composure.
Harry couldn't care less about William anymore; he was frantic, circling in the air, searching for the Golden Snitch.
Ravenclaw has a total score 20 points Gryffindor. The point difference on the field has now reached 100 points.
With just 30 points remaining, the gap between the two teams will be 150 points.
As long as he catches the Golden Snitch before that, everything will be fine.
No matter how exaggeratedly high-scoring William's performance is today, he will still win the team in the end, which is still Gryffindor!
But thirty points... is just three goals!
A flash of golden light, and the tiny wings began to vibrate rapidly.
The Golden Snitch was circling around Gryffindor's goal.
Harry finally saw it, he jerked his broom, increased his speed, and rushed over.
Cho didn't spot the Golden Snitch, but she was closer to the goal, thus blocking Harry's path.
Harry slowed down, hesitant and unwilling to clash with Cho.
"Harry, this is not the time to pretend to be a gentleman!" Wood roared.
"I want you to knock her off the broom right now! And then catch that damn Golden Snitch!"
Hurry up!
What are you hesitating for?
You... The Godfather... did you hear me?!
Wood couldn't help but swear. But he remained rational and didn't curse Harry's mother, instead choosing Harry's the Godfather.
Who cares which son of a bitch is the Godfather!
Wood just needs to win!
Harry joined in with a curse. Others might not know, but he certainly did. His the Godfather was that damned Death Eaters Black.
Harry couldn't wait for him to die!
It made me feel much better after swearing a few times.
Harry turned the Firebolt up, sending it soaring into the air. Soon he was twenty feet above the arena, searching again for the Golden Snitch that had vanished once more.
Qiu followed from a distance... Her current goal was to keep an eye on Harry and let William continue to score.
Cheers erupted from the crowd.
It turns out William tricked Alicia and scored another goal, bringing the gap between the two sides to 130 points.
Harry's eyes darted around, and he seemed to spot the Golden Snitch. Suddenly, he charged towards the ground.
Qiu flicked the Nimbus 2000 between his legs, but was not fooled. Instead, he continued to look up and search for the Golden Snitch.
Harry flew halfway up the mountain, then realized Cho wasn't following, and awkwardly flew back.
Cho grinned at Harry and said sarcastically, "Harry, your acting is superb! You almost fooled me just now!"
The wind was too strong, Harry couldn't hear clearly; he only heard it intermittently:
"Harry... you... are... amazing..."
Harry blushed deeply, and his heart pounded wildly.
Is this implying something to him?
Happiness came so suddenly!
Harry wrote another sycophantic diary entry in his mind.
Davies intercepted Angelina's pass and passed it to Bradley.
"Bradley has the ball, is he going to shoot?!" Lee yelled.
"A wide-open shot! All the defense has been drawn to William, and only Wood is in front of you. Just shoot, I'm begging you, bro!"
But Bradley immediately passed the ball to William. Wood was in excellent form today, and he wasn't confident he could make the shot.
"Wow, Ravenclaw playing so well today! They're not playing recklessly at all! They're not giving them a single chance!" Lee exclaimed, rubbing his head.
William caught the Quaffle perfectly. Fred and George immediately surrounded him.
"Damn it, George! Hurry up, just like you did to me in the dorm that day! Are you even a man?!" Lee cursed.
Professor McGonagall tried to snatch the microphone from Lee Jordan's hand.
"I'm sorry, Professor, I'm so sorry! I won't do it again! Don't be angry, I'm just being genuine!" Li said, dodging the question, and continued explaining.
Angelina clung to William, the poor girl, who was lost the whole time!
If Ravenclaw were a gentleman, she should request a postponement of the match until she recovers.
Even if you win, you won't gain my approval, Lee Jordan!
Fred rushed over, swinging his stick at William's broom, trying to stop him from shooting.
William ducked to avoid a Bludger, using the momentum of his Firebolt between his legs to slide past quickly, but he was still hit by the stick on the broom.
He staggered as he threw the Quaffle, then tumbled through the air close to the Firebolt.
"Huh... that went in? That's too unbelievable!" Lee's eyes widened. "Oh no, Madam Hooch blew the whistle, Fred, William, take the penalty."
"Ravenclaw got the Quaffle, William goes on the attack... William scores..." Lee groaned, "Two percent, seventy points, Ravenclaw is leading by one hundred and thirty points."
If Harry catches the Golden Snitch, the game will go into overtime.
Yes, I hate to say it, but time is running out for Gryffindor!
Cho's heart suddenly pounded. She had spotted the Golden Snitch, Winky in mid-air in Ravenclaw's half of the field!
Qiu suddenly accelerated and gave chase.
Harry didn't follow; he was still keeping an eye on William.
That was a beautiful shot!
"Oh, Cho seems to have spotted the Golden Snitch!" Lee shouted. But Harry was still in a daze; perhaps he had a concussion like Angelina?
Harry!
"Li, you fouled!" Professor McGonagall rushed over to grab the microphone.
However, she was a bit slow, seemingly having lost her earlier agility and reverting to the demeanor of a seventy-year-old.
Lee easily dodged it, and was even giving Harry a heads-up.
Everyone booed Lee; he was clearly doing it on purpose to remind Harry.
Harry finally realized what was happening, flicked the Firebolt, and began to accelerate.
The speed of the Firebolt was undeniable; although Cho started it first, Harry quickly caught up and rapidly closed the distance.
Qiu Yuguang glanced over and realized she was about to be caught. She gritted her teeth, turned her broom around, and bumped into Harry.
The two brooms collided, creating a series of clear, melodious sounds in mid-air.
Qiu gripped the broom tightly, trying to steady herself, but the stability of the Nimbus 2000 was far inferior to that of the Firebolt.
The two remained stuck together, continuing their race towards the Golden Snitch.
The speed was too fast, and the Nimbus 2000 under Qiu's crotch made a creaking sound as it struggled to keep up.
A horrified cry rang out from the crowd. Qiu's flying broom had already swung in a terrifying arc and was about to break.
At this moment, the two sides were less than ten meters away from the Golden Snitch.
Qiu gritted her teeth and made a bold decision. She suddenly stood up, took her hands off the broom, and stood directly on it.
A gentle breeze caressed her face, causing her sky-blue team uniform to flutter and sway. In the sunlight, she smiled slightly at Harry: "You lost!"
She raised her foot and kicked her broom hard. The already limit-bound Nimbus 2000 instantly drew its bow to its fullest extent.
Bang!
A few cracks appeared on the broom, and from a great distance all around, a series of muffled, suppressed sounds rang out.
Qiu tossed her hair and jumped off the broom.
Harry was about to give chase, but the elastic potential energy stored in the Nimbus 200 was released instantly.
The Firebolt from his crossbow was launched away, further away from the Golden Snitch.
Harry steadied himself in mid-air and rushed toward the Golden Snitch, which was thirty meters away.
But this brief delay has already cost Harry the initiative.
William caught the Quaffle.
At this moment, Harry was less than twenty meters away from the Golden Snitch.
William arrived at the scoring zone.
All teammates sank to the bottom line, and all the spectators held their breath and stood up involuntarily.
The opposing defender was the in-form Wood, who roared and fixed his gaze on William.
William made a very slight movement to the left.
Harry was five meters away from the Golden Snitch.
Suddenly, the ball bounces off the ground; the player retreats to the right and shoots with lightning speed!
Wood didn't even have time to react.
Li's voice rang out along with the whistle.
"William, William! Close-range shot! Goal! "Harry was a second too slow; he caught the Golden Snitch.
A decisive blow!
A decisive blow!!
This can't be real!! This can't be real!!!
The match is over, Harry has caught the Golden Snitch. But Ravenclaw has scored 160 points Gryffindor!
William Stark!!!
He scored 180 points and won the game in a dramatic fashion!
With a swift stroke, the blade fell, sealing the throat in one strike!
Lee repeatedly and hysterically screamed William's name!
In an instant, the entire Quidditch Pitch erupted in cheers!
The Ravenclaw students rushed wildly towards the center of the field.
The Gryffindor team members were dejected, and Harry was even paler, clutching the Golden Snitch.
William turned around and waved in Ravenclaw's direction, his face expressionless.
"Hey, Qiu, are you alright?" He flicked the broom, looking up at Qiu lying on the ground from mid-air.
"It's nothing, just a broken hand." Qiu pointed to her right hand, which was hanging down.
She grinned, as if it weren't her who had lost her hand.
"Ah, my broom broke! I think... Professor Flitwick should buy me Firebolt."
"No problem, Qiu, even if you wanted the moon, he would pluck it down for you!" William laughed loudly.
"Ah, Cedric's here..." William winked, a smile playing on his lips. "I won't bother you two any longer."
Where are you going?
William had already risen into the air, like a rainbow piercing the sky, and crossed the field.
He slowed down, and as he passed the Gryffindor stands, Hermione leaped up and was pulled into his arms.
The two rode together on the Firebolt and quickly disappeared into the sky.
Anne stood in the Gryffindor stands and stomped her foot angrily.
She had tried to go up too, but her brother ignored her.
Anne hates Hermione!
