William placed the practical exam on Ancient Runes in classroom number thirteen.

"Sir... what are we being tested on?"

Dean Thomas, who always enjoyed chatting with William in class, also unconsciously used honorifics, his voice trembling.

"It's very simple, it's all content covered in class," William said with a friendly smile.

He waved his wand, and a row of badges floated over.

"Just make disposable, heat-generating badges."

William didn't even have them make Warming Badge. Any badge that could emit heat would get a high score, and if the temperature was suitable, it would be a perfect score.

If the heat can be sustained, he might even add an extra twenty points.

But upon hearing William say that, everyone visibly tensed up.

Watching him make this seems simple, but it's very difficult to do it yourself.

Sure enough, trouble soon followed. Dean's badge caught fire, nearly setting his robes ablaze.

Seamus Finnigan waved his wand, and the badge exploded, leaving his face blackened.

William walked happily behind the students, quill pen in hand, constantly giving them marks.

"Oh, poor thing, I think you might have to retake the course."

Like Professor Snape, William suppressed his anger and laughed behind Goyle and Crabbe.

The two badges remained unchanged.

Seeing William's smile, Malfoy's little hand trembled, and he broke the badge into pieces.

William mimicked Professor McGonagall, pursing his lips and making a displeased expression.

Malfoy stood on tiptoe, trying to see how low a score William had given him. He'd done so badly he wouldn't be able to face his father when he got home!

Malfoy felt this was very unfair. Could grades truly measure the extent of his effort?

Surprisingly, Daphne performed exceptionally well. Her badge was glowing warmly and looked quite impressive.

William gave it a perfect score.

Seeing that most of the students had left, Daphne quietly asked:

"William, are you free this summer? I happen to have a spare ticket for the Quidditch World Cup final, in a VIP box... we..."

"Oh, sorry, I already have a ticket," William politely declined.

"Oh, okay..." Daphne seemed a little disappointed. "Then we'll meet again at the Quidditch World Cup, right?"

"Of course," William replied politely with a smile.

After Daphne turned and left, Hermione sneaked over.

Her lovely face was full of vigilance.

"That guy named Greengrass invited you to the Quidditch World Cup?" she asked suspiciously.

"I think so. They probably have a lot of tickets, so they're going to sell them to me," William said, grinning and making things up.

Hermione seemed to be talking to herself:

"Yes, you two can go see it together. I'm not particularly interested in Quidditch, so you'll definitely have a lot in common..."

She said sourly, "Greengrass is really pretty, isn't she... tsk tsk, if I were a boy, I would definitely like her too."

William put down his quill and gently touched Hermione's smooth forehead, but the girl turned her head away sharply.

William, feeling helpless, could only look at the parchment and whisper:

"Let me see... a lot of people got low scores today, and some even have to retake the course, like Goyle and Crabbe."

I won't have to deal with those two idiots anymore this semester. Not only did they drag down the class's participation grade for no reason, but they also gave Professor Snape the opportunity to mock me.

Hey, there's another one here who got an extra twenty points? Who is it...?

Hermione's eyes lit up. She turned again, staring longingly at the parchment, and asked softly, "Is it my grade?"

William, suppressing a laugh, said, "Oh dear, it seems to be Daphne's grades..."

Hermione's eyes widened, her face showing shock, grievance, resentment, and sadness.

"Ha, just kidding!" William handed the parchment to Hermione.

She took it and immediately began to examine it.

Hermione Granger: 120 points.

The girl's face, which had been gloomy and overcast, now radiated beauty.

Hermione looked up, her face filled with surprise, and asked, "Is this okay?"

"Of course, Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall always give me an extra twenty points," William said seriously.

"You are the only student who can consistently produce Warming Badge, which fully meets the bonus criteria."

"Besides, I'm the teacher of this course. If I say it's okay, then it's okay... Teachers always tend to favor good students, right?"

"Yes, I think so too." Hermione nodded vigorously, her tone suddenly becoming lighter.

William secretly gazed at her profile, noticing the dimples that had appeared on her cheeks.

She stared intently and asked, "There must be many exam papers with Ancient Runes, right?"

"Of course," William said. "It's all translation, and I'll be proofreading it all by myself. It'll probably take a long time."

"It's decided!" Hermione suddenly shouted.

"I'm not going back to the dorm tonight. I'll stay in the Room of Requirement... to help you grade papers."

William nodded vigorously and said, "Yes!"

By the time I left the classroom, the sun had already set.

William and Hermione crossed the meadow and arrived at Hagrid's Hut. Today was the day Buckbeak was to be executed, and William had already made plans with Fudge.

"Have you finished your exams?" Hagrid asked listlessly as he opened the door.

William nodded.

Upon entering the hut, to everyone's surprise, Harry and Ron were also there with Hagrid.

"Harry, you shouldn't be here," Hermione said sternly, frowning.

"The sun has already set; you should stay in the castle, not run around in Invisibility Cloak... Peter might..."

"It's Peter again... He died twelve years ago!" Harry exclaimed angrily from his chair.

"Besides, if you and William can come, why can't we? I don't see any danger anywhere!"

"Speak more politely, Harry!" William said coldly.

"Hermione and I can certainly come; I'm also the substitute teacher for Ancient Runes in the third year."

According to safety regulations, only teachers are allowed to lead students out of the castle after dark.

Are you and Ron also teachers?

Or do you think you're strong enough to ignore Black?

"I remember, last time you two sneaked into Hogsmeade, you only lost 250 points combined, right?"

Harry opened his mouth, but was speechless.

William ignored the two idiots; if Peter caught Harry, it would be his own fault.

William looked at Hagrid. "Is Fudge here?"

"I think they'll be here soon, the execution will be after dark..." Hagrid said in a low voice.

"I asked Dumbledore, and he said there was no way to change the committee's verdict. William... are you sure you're okay?"

"No problem, I'm here," William assured him.

Hagrid suddenly stood up, staring out the window. His ruddy complexion suddenly turned a withered yellow, like parchment.

"They're here..."

In the distance, a group of men were descending the stone steps of the castle. Leading the way was Dumbledore, his silver beard Winky in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Beside him stood Minister Fudge, and behind him were the elderly and frail committee members and executioner Macnair.

"You have to go," Hagrid said, trembling. "Don't come out tonight. Make sure they don't find you here... Go now..."

Harry picked up his Invisibility Cloak and draped it over Ron, who looked up.

William and Hermione had already gone a step further, using the Disillusionment Charm to disappear from the room.

A group of people walked over and stood in front of Hagrid's Hut.

"Where did that beast go?" Macnair, the executioner, asked in a cold voice.

"Outside... outside," Hagrid said in a hoarse voice.

Fudge shouted, "We've seen the monster... Oh... Come, we must read the official proclamation regarding the execution, Hagrid."

I'll read it very carefully, so you have to listen attentively. Let's have another cup of pine nut tea, and then we'll deal with that damned beast.

They all went into the small house, Laifu inside.

"The Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures has decided that Buckbeak, the Hippogriff, hereinafter referred to as the Convicted One, shall be executed at sunset on June 6th..."

William and Hermione slowly appeared and quietly walked towards the pumpkin patch.

Buckbeak glared with fierce orange eyes.

Hermione looked nervously at Buckbeak, recalling Hagrid's lessons, and then bowed slightly.

Buckbeak hesitated for a moment, bent his scaly knees, and then stood up straight again.

William waved his wand, and the rope tied to the fence came loose on its own.

"Alright, that's all. Let's hurry up and execute that monster."

The shrill voices of the committee members echoed from Hagrid's Hut.

"Wait, don't be in such a hurry, Macnair." Fudge, after reading the announcement, shouted again:

"We've walked so far, let's have some pine nut tea to soothe our throats."

He held his teacup, strolled to the doorway, and looked towards the pumpkin patch.

Fudge saw William and Hermione. The two had already untied the ropes and were slowly pulling Buckbeak.

He visibly relaxed, thinking William had been delayed.

"Minister, is that beast still around?" Macnair's impatient voice rang out.

"Of course, it's still there!" Fudge raised his hand, gesturing for the two to leave quickly, then turned and went back into the house.

He took the money but didn't do anything; from now on, he'll be a good minister with a moral bottom line!

Most importantly, Malfoy was unaware of this, so he can't be blamed.

"Let's go," William whispered in Hermione's ear.

The two put Buckbeak into the Safety Watch, and William cast the Disillusionment Charm again.

A moment later, a roar came from Hagrid's Hut.

"Someone's untied the ropes!" the executioner roared. "We should search the area, and the woods..."

"Who stole it? I suspect it was Black!" Fudge roared as well.

William and Hermione, who had already crossed the grass, exchanged a glance and laughed.

As they approached the castle, they saw a large crowd gathered together, making a ruckus.

Anne squeezed through the crowd and walked over quickly.

"What happened?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

"It's Peter!" Anne exclaimed in shock.

"Someone has captured Pettigrew Peter!"

"Who... who arrested him?"

"Harry and Ron!"
