A Way to Go Ten Months Without Pain
Plans can't keep up with changes; this saying applies everywhere.
William, at least, is experiencing it firsthand now.
His original plan was to use the afternoon to have Hermione cast the Undetectable Extension Charm around the cabin, and then set up some "small" traps.
It doesn't need to be too complicated; the Voldemort version from Pinduoduo will do.
Unfortunately, there's no chance today. After all, taking a bath is more fun.
After exercising a lot, William's body started to ache, so he needed to take a Potions bath to release the lactic acid that had accumulated in his body.
He fell in love with mixed bathing, it's that simple!
William cooked dinner again.
Hermione decides to strategically abandon this skill.
When you're single, especially if you like a boy, you naturally want to showcase your strengths, and it's best to have a variety of skills.
Having more skills is never a bad thing.
But once you've won her over, there's no need to go through all that trouble.
Hermione looked around and realized that although there were many competitors, they were mostly low-quality... Only a handful were truly competitive.
For example... Phoebe.
The others were just there to make up the numbers.
I currently hold an almost overwhelming advantage, so I can relax for a while.
Even though there were only two of them, William still prepared a very lavish dinner.
Taking a bath is physically demanding and requires a lot of energy; you must conserve your strength and replenish your energy.
He had already turned the Goblet of Fire into a cooking tool, cooking all kinds of food on it.
Any household waste was dumped on those two dragons to "eat."
Anyway, neither of them can get out... If you're so capable, come and mess with him.
Hermione was listless and, after dinner, didn't really want to go for a walk, so she curled up in William's arms and watched a movie.
Last year, Sirius's prison break inspired many wizards in the United States Wizarding World. They decided to invest in making a Muggle movie to commemorate the event.
And so, the Shawshank Redemption was released.
1994 was destined to be a year of epic battles:
Quentin's Pulp Fiction *, Jim Carrey's * the Mask *, Portman's * Léon: The Professional *, and even * A Chinese Odyssey *...
However, the Oscar ultimately went to "Forrest Gump".
In the words of the fashion-conscious Nicolas: This year, perhaps Merlin wants to watch a movie.
William had seen most of the movies, but Hermione hadn't. This holiday, the couple added another form of entertainment to their routine.
They had no intention of leaving the cabin and would spend the entire Christmas there.
Traveling the world and incidentally saving (or destroying) cities... that's something for summer vacation; it's time to take a break.
This also gives major tourist cities more time to earn money.
Hermione stroked William's hand as she watched the movie and began to ponder the song inside the Golden Egg.
This is a very simple deduction... the content of the second item is hidden within it.
"The Golden Egg can only sing on land, and its song can only be heard in water... Is the target we're looking for in the water?"
"The only place near Hogwarts is the Black Lake," she muttered to herself.
"They stole my most beloved treasure... I only had one hour..."
"Do we need to find the stolen items within an hour?"
Hermione raised an eyebrow and smiled confidently, "The only ones who can sing in the Black Lake are Merpeople."
So this project involves the Champion's most prized possession, which is located in the Merpeople village; we need to go there to retrieve it.
Hermione quickly grasped the content of the Second Task; the whole process took less than two minutes.
My dearest baby...
She squinted, thinking, "What could it mean?"
William thought for a moment, then suddenly said, "Do you remember Professor Snape's gift?"
During Christmas, Snape gave William Gillywater Potion as a gift.
He didn't understand what it meant at first, but now he finally got it. It was an allusion to the content of the second competition.
Hermione instantly understood William's warning, and she murmured:
Professor Snape didn't have the Golden Egg; he couldn't have known about this so quickly.
But he still found out. This means... the principal specifically spoke to him.
"Yes, why did Professor Dumbledore seek him out?" William continued.
"If the treasure placed in the Merpeople tribe is some kind of object, then there's definitely no need to look for him."
Now they're looking for him. The only thing they can do is ask him for Potions to give to the Champion's precious treasure, which has been submerged for a long time...
Hermione's eyes lit up. "So, the so-called treasure refers to... a wizard."
"That should be it." William nodded.
Hermione chuckled, "William, will the school put you in the Merpeople Tribe?"
William rolled his eyes at Hermione, who seemed quite expectant, and said, "That depends on whether I'm your most beloved treasure."
Hermione turned to the side, resting her chin on one hand, and ran two fingers through William's eyelashes with the other, her face flushed as she softly said, "Of course!"
William didn't stop her little actions; he just smiled.
"Oh right, I remember... you have a grudge against Merpeople, right?" Hermione curled up in his arms like a kitten.
"Yes, there was a little friction." William patted the girl's hair.
"But that was several years ago."
William was speechless. Merpeople are known for holding grudges; they can remember even the smallest things for years.
He suddenly remembered that Cedric the Merpeople Mermaid liked him very much and wanted to take him as her son-in-law.
Cedric is more dangerous than William... Would he dare go into the water?!
Not going into the water is a zero. But once you're in the water... you're like a piece of meat in someone else's mouth, ready to be squeezed and molded at will.
William squinted, then suddenly remembered that year, the mysterious witch he and Hermione had seen.
Who exactly is she?
What is she doing now?
William always felt that he would run into her again.
Inside the cave,
A bronze boat glided across the lake, heading towards the small island.
There were two people on board: a wizard and a Muggle.
After his previous host died, Tom wandered around for a long time, during which time he secretly found the Wormtail, which allowed him to find a new host.
Pettigrew was also startled. Good heavens, before you left, you swore that you would wait to hear news from me when you went to United States.
A year has passed, and it's still the same?
Tom was in a difficult position, but he had no choice but to take the Horcrux. Otherwise, he would have returned to United States long ago to continue his pursuit of the Slytherin's Wand.
Having regrouped, he returned to the lake, having learned from his previous mistake, and brought a Muggle as a sacrifice.
Anyway, I can't drink Potions by myself anymore.
That kind of pain... it was like the medicine going down my throat and my heart aching.
Soon, the small boat docked at the island, and Tom had the host control the Muggle to drink the pool of Potions.
Surprisingly, no pendant appeared this time.
Tom checked repeatedly and pondered deeply... Could it be that only a wizard could drink it to trigger a certain magical mechanism?
Otherwise, there's no reason.
Okay... shall we drink it one more time?
But he really didn't want to endure that excruciating pain a second time!
But... I have no choice but to endure it!
Once he gets the pendant, he'll definitely kill his future self.
Tom regained control of the host body and, under his own restraint, poured the green liquid down again.
Screams echoed from the small island.
After an unknown amount of time, the Potions finally ran out. Before the host collapsed, Tom glanced at the bottom of the basin... and he didn't see the pendant!
It's like finding a treasure vault, planning for a whole year, and going through tremendous effort to open it, only to find it's... empty!
Damn it!
Who stole his pendant?
Tom couldn't think about the problem anymore, because the Inferi came back and dragged the host into the Black Lake.
Gryffindor Common Room
Ron stared at the entrance to the girls' dormitory with a gloomy expression.
After the Yule Ball, William and Hermione haven't shown up all day; they seem to have vanished.
He thought... he could report this to Professor McGonagall.
Ron patted Harry on the shoulder, intending to ask him to come along, when Harry suddenly collapsed to the ground.
He suddenly convulsed and let out a painful scream.
All the students looked at Ron and quickly separated him from Harry.
Good heavens, that's some nerve! Daring to commit violence in broad daylight?
Furious!
Quickly take him to Professor McGonagall.
Ron, looking miserable, loudly explained that it had nothing to do with him, but no one believed him.
Harry clutched his head, lay on the ground, and was still screaming in pain.
I used to experience pain once a year, but recently it's started happening once a month.
What exactly did Tom do to his body?
Harry remembered Fred mentioning that girls also experience menstrual cramps once a month.
But there is a way to make them go ten months without experiencing pain.
Anyone could come along... and we'd arrange that method for him too, so he wouldn't experience pain for ten months.
