The End of Summer Vacation
At some point, Harry and Ron suddenly developed the habit of writing letters to their classmates.
I definitely didn't want to copy homework.
Okay... I do have that thought.
Hermione finished her homework before the holidays and then left it at school, giving her no chance to "refer" to it.
The "reference answers" that used to circulate during summer vacation are now unavailable even if you have the money.
This is going to be the death of my mother!
As for why they can't buy them, it's because last year, Professor McGonagall completely shut down Lee Jordan's homework business.
With William's help, Li and his team changed careers and started a dating Hogwarts Lily Network.
The answers to this homework assignment were naturally completely wasted.
However, this business has been running for four years, and many students have developed the habit, making it difficult to change their bad habits in a short time.
Harry and Ron were jumping around, trying to find their classmate's homework to copy.
It's okay to make mistakes; I just want to copy, it's become an obsessive-compulsive disorder.
But to their utter surprise, no one wrote anything.
My roommate Dean even replied, writing in a terrified tone:
He then remembered this and asked what homework had been assigned.
If possible, please send me your written answers. It's okay if they're wrong; I just want to help you check them.
Good heavens... why don't you just die?
Of course, copying homework was just a side issue; their main goal was to find out who the other Gryffindor Prefect was...
They couldn't understand why this mysterious wizard was such a bastard.
William knew who it was, after all, it was he who had made the suggestion to Dumbledore.
However, he didn't say anything, because he didn't really care about such trivial matters.
Who the Prefect is and what does it matter... It's just teenage angst, utterly insignificant in the context of Voldemort's resurrection.
William was more concerned with his own strategy at this point.
The first to be affected are the Dementor.
In early July, he returned the Little Black Robe to Azkaban and also killed the leader of the Dementor.
After the turmoil in Azkaban, although the Little Black Robe failed to become the leader, his status was rising, and he was able to obtain a lot of information.
For example... Death Eaters and Dementor are having increasingly frequent contact.
According to Hermione's analysis, the Dementor would eventually betray them and allow the Death Eaters to escape.
The prison break isn't the key issue; the key issue is that William needs to capture Bellatrix and find the whereabouts of the Golden Cup.
It wouldn't be easy to strike inside Azkaban, but when she escapes, it will be a perfect opportunity to ambush her.
This is the advantage of having spies; William is still waiting for the right opportunity.
Meanwhile, Umbridge's case finally came to a conclusion:
She was sentenced to one month in Azkaban.
If the Unforgivable Curses is used, it will definitely result in life imprisonment.
But just as William had expected, one of the three Auror volunteered to take the blame for Umbridge.
The day before his trial, he "voluntarily confessed" that he had used Umbridge's wand to cast the Unforgivable Curses.
The other two Auror also agreed to testify.
Fudge quickly closed the case, making the Auror the scapegoat.
Umbridge was sentenced to one month in prison for negligence.
To be honest, this practice of scapegoating temporary workers, interns, and partner suppliers is all too common.
Fudge wouldn't have been able to get Umbridge convicted of a serious crime until he was completely out of options and had fallen from power.
This argument is certainly not convincing, but Minister Fudge seems determined to go against public opinion.
Perhaps in Fudge's mind, there's also a sense of self-righteousness about "fighting the whole world for Umbridge."
It sounds very exciting, and even has a strange feel to it, like something out of Qiong Yao novel.
Especially the warped values it contains... that's the flavor of it.
Unlike last year, that summer was joyful, especially with the Quidditch World Cup.
But only a year has passed, and many wizards are suddenly filled with panic.
Everyone knows that the situation has changed drastically.
But no matter how oppressive it was, August is finally coming to an end.
September 1st,
Early in the morning, William took Hermione and Anne to Station 9.
Having been here countless times, the three of them were very familiar with the place and encountered no problems whatsoever.
The platform was packed with students and parents, making it incredibly noisy.
Upon seeing William and Hermione appear, the crowd seemed to be silenced instantly, as if a mute button had been pressed.
Everyone stared at the two with great interest, and many nudged the people next to them with their elbows, pointing and whispering.
There were even quite a few reporters taking pictures around.
As William passed by, he snapped his fingers, and the entire camera started emitting blue smoke.
The commotion the two caused this summer was bigger than ever before.
The Vienna incident, the International Confederation of Wizards Conference, the trial upon their return, and Umbridge's defeat... all drew everyone's attention.
William was the absolute protagonist in Rita's long-running series of reports, with plenty of photographs to prove it.
Public opinion had long since shifted, and everyone was on edge.
"Stark, You-Know-Who really come back to life?!" someone suddenly shouted.
William ignored him and silently walked toward the train.
In their usual carriage, Cedric, Cho, and Neville had already arrived.
Cedric and Qiu are studying a potted plant.
Meanwhile, Neville is dealing with the struggling toad Trevor, who seems to want to eat it.
"Hey, it's Mimbulus mimbletonia!" Anne peeked out, somewhat surprised.
Mimbulus mimbletonia is an extremely rare magical plant that looks like a small gray cactus, but instead of being covered in thorns, it is covered in boil-like joints.
If you pierce those joints, it will spray out a large amount of sticky, smelly, dark green sap, along with a chestnut blossom fragrance.
That tangy, pungent smell... you have to experience it to believe it!
"That's really rare," Neville said happily.
Even the greenhouses at Hogwarts don't have this.
This is a gift my uncle Algie brought me from Assyria; I'd like to see if I can cultivate it.
Neville's favorite subject was Herbology, and it was also his best subject.
This thing can be mass-produced and made into prank products.
Just then, Harry and Ron arrived, while the twins were pulled away by Lee. The three of them whispered and discussed something.
"That's strange, have you seen Gryffindor's new Prefect?" Ron asked eagerly as soon as he sat down.
"I just asked around, and nobody knows who the Prefect is... Could Dumbledore have forgotten to hand out the badges?"
He then looked at Neville and casually asked, "Neville, do you know who it is?"
"You should rule out... I guess it might be Seamus. He always causes explosions, but maybe Professor McGonagall likes him."
He's definitely hiding something on purpose... What do you think?
Neville didn't know what to say, and gave a vague reply.
At this moment, William stood up, hung the Prefect around his neck, and said, "Let's go... we're going to the Prefect's car."
Hermione, Cho, Cedric all stood up.
Neville stood up as well, and Ron asked curiously, "Are you going to the bathroom? Let's go together."
"No," Neville shook his head. "I need to go to the Prefect's carriage..."
Harry and Ron stared at him, mouths agape, in shock.
"Are you kidding me?" Ron shouted. "Where's your Prefect Badge? I don't see it!"
"I... I lost it..." Neville stammered.
Of course it wasn't lost; it was given to his mother.
William glanced at Neville, flicked his wand, and transformed Trevor into Prefect Badge.
"Put this on first, then ask Dumbledore later."
Neville quickly hung Trevor on his clothes.
Everyone pushed open the door and got out, leaving the entire carriage empty for a moment, with only Harry and Ron standing there dumbfounded.
