After the routine check-up, William and Hermione took their leave and left the ward.

Since it's a rare opportunity for William to be hospitalized, he'll definitely want to enjoy it to the fullest.

Of course, it wasn't about flirting with the attending therapist or teasing the nurses... Was it to prevent Hermione from getting a chance to practice?

Her curse, however, is experiencing another surge in power.

Last time, William wanted to experience the effect, so he was cursed by Hermione's magic, which prevented him from making any shots.

In the second day of practice, William was completely out of form, hitting 30 misses in a row.

He swore he hadn't practiced with Hermione until late the night before... but he was still caught off guard.

So it's best not to try this lightly.

So, what's fun about St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries?

Although there are many wizards with mental problems, there are also many talented individuals among them.

Former high- Gobstones official of the Ministry of Magic, former Auror, six-time Europe Cup winner, Wizard's Chess master...

Occasionally, even Professor Slughorn would come to the hospital for a month, ostensibly to have the nurses check his health.

It's a place teeming with hidden talents.

But the two hadn't gone far when Harry suddenly chased after them, stammering:

"William, could I have a moment of your time? I... want to talk to you..."

William nodded, glanced at Hermione, and the girl immediately smiled understandingly:

"I went to find Anne, I don't know where she went to play."

Harry gave her a grateful look.

There was something he really couldn't bring himself to say, something he couldn't tell anyone else.

Dumbledore, however, was unwilling to see him and wouldn't even look at him directly.

Literal meaning!

Lately, when Dumbledore speaks to him, his eyes are always on other people; it's as if even glancing at him is visual pollution.

Harry sometimes wondered to himself:

Since fifth grade, his appearance has indeed become increasingly distorted, but surely it shouldn't have gotten this ugly?

So, after thinking it over, Harry had no choice but to go to William.

William was the same age as him, had the closest relationship with Dumbledore, possessed ample magical knowledge, and was a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

I can definitely give you an accurate answer.

William led Harry toward a secluded corner, and seeing that he was still gathering his emotions, he didn't urge him, but instead casually chatted:

"Do you like the Christmas present I gave you?"

"Oh, I love it! I love it so much!" Harry's face lit up with joy.

"That game console was the best Christmas present I've received in years!"

Before the holidays, Harry was thinking of going to the Burrow and maybe even visiting William's house next door to use their game console and computer.

To my surprise, William gave me a Family Computer as a Christmas gift.

The only downside was that Harry and Ron were having a passionate night in bed... when the power went out.

There's no power strip at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, and I can't go back to my uncle's house to charge it, so it's just sitting there collecting dust for now.

William seemed to know what Harry was thinking and asked, "Did you write to your aunt and uncle about the Dementor?"

"I wrote it, and I even apologized. But they said they're cutting off our 'aunt-nephew' relationship," Harry said irritably.

"Oh, and they even sent me a Christmas present—a toothpick."

"..."

Seeing that William didn't believe him, Harry sighed and explained:

"Really, they give this kind of Christmas gift every year."

One year, a fifty-pence coin was casually stuck to a strip of paper with transparent tape.

Another time, they gave me a napkin.

Okay... at least they didn't just send out air, at least they sent "practical items".

Wait... toothpicks, coins, tissues.

William squinted.

The three things together form the symbol of the Deathly Hallows, don't they?

Wow... this couple is something else, could they be some kind of hidden big shots?

(In the original book, Aunt Harry did indeed give these three Christmas gifts, and they are the three gifts that are recorded. It's a rather obscure Easter egg.)

After chatting casually for a while, Harry's nervousness eased somewhat.

He finally mustered his courage and said:

Yesterday, Tonks and Mad-Eye came to see Mr. Weasley.

The twins and I were eavesdropping at the door... Of course, we didn't do it on purpose."

Harry quickly covered it up:

"I heard... Mad-Eye say that the You-Know-Who might be possessing me..."

William glanced at Harry and roughly knew why he had come to see him.

So it turns out they need psychological counseling.

William asked, "So you think you were possessed by Voldemort and attacked Mr. Weasley?"

Harry nodded; that was indeed what he thought.

"So... do you think I'm possessed?"

William did not answer directly, but instead asked in return:

"Harry, if Voldemort saw you, what do you think he would most want to do?"

Harry replied without hesitation, "Kill me."

"Yes." William looked into Harry's green eyes.

"He wanted to kill you; we knew that when he was resurrected."

William changed the subject and laughed:

"Then why do you still think he will possess you and attack Mr. Weasley?"

Instead of directly controlling you, walking up to him, and killing you?

Yes, Harry realized it instantly too!

If Voldemort could control himself, he would definitely kill him first, rather than attacking others!

Harry almost involuntarily relaxed.

"But I dreamt of Mr. Weasley and the snake..." he hesitated. "Those things really happened; they weren't a dream. How do you explain that?"

"Dumbledore must have told you this more than once," William explained, looking at Harry's two scars.

"Avada Kedavra has forged some kind of connection between you and Voldemort."

He pondered his words. He couldn't mention Horcrux, but he needed to use a language Harry could understand.

"All indications suggest that your mind is most relaxed and vulnerable—for example, when you are asleep."

Or, when Voldemort is in a state of extreme rage, you can sense the Dark Lord's thoughts and emotions.

"That's why you saw those images, not because Voldemort possessed you."

Harry breathed a sigh of relief, even a little excited. He rubbed his hands together and said:

"That's great... Of course, I don't like this feeling, but it's helpful."

Is it William?

That way I can get information about Voldemort.

I saw the giant snake attack Mr. Weasley; otherwise, Professor Dumbledore might not have been able to save him, right?

Harry became more and more excited as he spoke, feeling that he had discovered the key to defeating Voldemort.

William said seriously, "Harry, you're sorely mistaken."

"You can enter Voldemort's mind, see through his eyes, and see what he's doing; he can also do the opposite."

This is not a one-way process, but a two-way channel...

Harry can enter Voldemort's body, and the Dark Lord can also enter Harry's body.

Both of them can be described as being able to be both dominant and submissive.

Harry's heart skipped a beat. "Hasn't he already figured it out..."

"He's most likely already found out." William shook his head.

"That night, you were making a scene in the Great Hall, and Mr. Weasley was rescued in time."

Voldemort must have known these things, and besides, all magic leaves traces.

Given his magical prowess, he's probably already aware of this special connection.

"Is this just your guess, or...?"

"Does it matter whether it's speculation or fact?" William interrupted.

"Harry, this isn't gambling, it's gambling with your life, understand?"

Once Voldemort discovers this connection, which is very likely already true, he will inevitably use it to his advantage.

Seeing Harry's dismissive expression, William sighed and said:

"Yes, you can indeed get one piece of information, two pieces of information... but one day, you'll get false information and be fooled!"

The consequence of being deceived is either your death or the death of someone close to you.

Are you going to gamble on this probability?!

Harry swallowed hard.

William patted him on the shoulder:

"I know you really want to fight Voldemort, but he was right about one thing."

"Courage and stupidity are often separated by a fine line."

I don't want your courage to turn into foolishness.

Harry looked almost somber and remained silent for a long time before finally asking, "Then how do we stop this connection?"

"By learning the Occlumency, you can sever this connection."

"Brain what?" Harry asked blankly.

"Occlumency, a spell to prevent the mind from being invaded by outsiders, is obscure but extremely useful," William said.

"Can you teach me?" Harry asked hopefully.

"If it's summer vacation, I can teach you, because Hermione is also learning then." William shook his head.

"But she's moving very fast now, and you can't keep up with her lessons."

After I started school, I became a professor of Ancient Runes, and I had even less time.

"Can Hermione teach me?"

Hermione hasn't fully grasped it yet; she can't teach you.

William laughed and said, "Don't worry, Dumbledore will find you a good teacher."

Harry's hope was rekindled; if Dumbledore were willing to teach him, that would be great too.
