Department of Mysteries
Anne kept chatting with Harry and Ron, not because she was bored and deliberately wasting time... but because she was waiting for someone.
The Order of the Phoenix will certainly come when facing the Death Eaters, but they will deliberately postpone it slightly.
I'll need to leave the Ministry of Magic for a while to do some things.
With only a few people in front of her, the chances of something going wrong are very high.
If you survived by sheer luck, it can only be attributed to good fortune.
Harry can disregard the consequences, but Anne cannot; she must ensure everyone survives.
That means we need other people to protect Harry and the others while she's away... at least so they don't get killed.
Of course, you have to be tactful and not too blunt; you need high Emotional Intelligence and an understanding of the art of language.
Anne glanced at Harry and Ron and said softly:
"You two are too weak. I've called in a few students to protect you; they can help fight the Death Eaters."
"..."
What does it mean to say the most hurtful things with the gentlest words? Anne probably embodies that perfectly.
Harry said, somewhat hurt, " With William and Hermione gone, Hogwarts still has students like this?"
"Of course." Anne nodded. "Cedric, the twins, and Cho."
Last year, my brother gave them special training to help them participate in the Triwizard Tournament; they were all very strong.
Cedric and the twins are both adult wizards.
They are among the best of their peers, especially Cedric, who is an absolute genius.
Their current strength is at least greater than that of Tonks when he was still a trainee Auror.
Facing Death Eaters, coupled with various alchemical weapons, we can definitely buy some time.
If all else fails, I still have other backup plans to ensure everyone's safety.
They went to great lengths to prepare for this trip to the Department of Mysteries.
"Ah, they're here." Anne looked up and said softly.
Then, the twins, Cedric and Cho, came walking from a distance.
"I think you already know what happened," Anne said.
"We need to get to the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic. We'll most likely encounter Death Eaters there, and we'll need your help."
"Great, I've always wanted to fight Death Eaters," George grinned.
"I certainly can't miss something this exciting," Fred continued.
"Indeed... we'll be joining the Order of the Phoenix after we graduate." Cedric was quite confident.
"This is a good opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the enemy beforehand."
"We still need to be careful; they can use all sorts of Dark Magic, including the Unforgivable Curses," Anne warned.
She took several rings out of her pocket and handed them to everyone.
"What is this?" Qiu asked, taking it and examining it curiously.
"This is something my brother made; it can save your life. Just wear it on your wrist," Anne said without going into details.
Since it was William who made it... everyone quickly put the rings on their fingers.
"Autumn, this is for you." Anne took out another pendant.
"If we're really forced into a corner, we'll just throw this out... There's a big treasure inside." Anne blinked.
Qiu nodded solemnly.
After explaining everything, the group headed to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Office.
Anne walked ahead, snapped her fingers, and the wooden door opened.
After Umbridge left, the office remained empty, and no wizard ever entered it again.
Of course, Umbridge took everything he could carry with him.
Standing by the fireplace, Anne sprinkled some Floo Powder and said, "Minister of Ministry of Magic's Minister's Office."
She stepped into the green flames, then stepped away from the fireplace and into the Minister's Office.
Umbridge took over here after Fudge was impeached and removed from office.
However, the decorations were very familiar, exactly the same as the old toad's office at Hogwarts:
Lace curtains, decorative cushions, and dried flowers covered every surface that could be decorated.
The same flower plates still hung on the wall, each with a brightly colored cat wearing a bow, frolicking and playing.
Umbridge isn't here; the room is empty.
They all went to the Merlin Memorial Hall to attend the trial, which provided them with considerable convenience.
Anne waved her wand, removing the alarm and defense charms from the door, while the group continued to use Floo Powder to enter the room.
Just a quick plug: I've recently been using a reading app that has a huge library of books, a wide selection, and fast updates!
They were also startled, thinking they had come to the wrong place.
"Let's go." Anne cast Disillusionment Charm on the group, gently pushed open the door, and headed towards the elevator.
There weren't many officials outside; they all seemed to have gone to attend the trial.
Anne pressed the button, and the elevator immediately appeared before her with a click.
The golden fence slid from the middle to both sides, making a deafening, echoing clang.
Harry rushed in and pressed button number nine with all his might.
The elevator made a jarring, clattering sound. When it stopped again, a cold, indifferent woman's voice announced:
"Department of Mysteries"
The fence opened, and they cautiously entered the corridor, wary of any potential enemies.
But apart from the torches flickering in the airflow, there was no other sound.
"It's this black door," Harry said nervously, pointing to it.
Anne put her hands in her pockets, calmly hummed in agreement, and then walked ahead, leisurely as if she were shopping.
Seeing her demeanor, everyone's tension eased somewhat.
The group stepped over the threshold and entered a huge circular room.
A faint blue candle flame adorned the wall, illuminating the room.
Everything here, including the ceiling and the floor, is black.
There was another identical black door, without any markings or handles.
These doors are separated from each other and are embedded in the surrounding black walls.
Harry was completely stunned.
In his dream, there was only one door, but there were twelve doors instead.
"Which way should we go, Harry?" Ron asked hastily. "What about the guidance from your dream?"
Harry shook his head, puzzled:
"In those dreams, there was only one door, but here there are so many, and I don't know which way to go."
"Then we should try a few doors," Qiu suggested. "If you see a familiar room from your dream, maybe you'll know how to get there."
Harry glanced gratefully at Cho, then led the group toward a door.
But they didn't notice that Anne, who was walking at the very back... hadn't followed.
She quietly walked slowly towards another room.
She opened the door with ease.
Anne went inside, squinting slightly to adjust to the bright light.
The room was very large and had a rather peculiar layout.
The dials, adorned with countless clocks, shimmered faintly.
They come in all shapes and sizes, from grandfather clocks to travel clocks, some hanging between bookshelves, others standing on tables as long as the entire room.
There was also a rapid, endless ticking sound that filled the entire room, like thousands of tiny footsteps.
The Time-Turner is right here!
It was also a long and arduous wait for the power to repair Ravenclaw's Diadem.
She had been waiting for this day for a long time.
Just then, a clear, ethereal voice suddenly appeared behind Anne.
"Who are you?"
