The Great Gold Heist
Estimate scores is a technical skill.
In his previous life, when William took the college entrance exam, his roommate checked the standard answers, estimated his score to be over 600, and was excited for several weeks.
He doesn't like living in dormitories, and he even rented a house near Wudaokou Vocational and Technical College in advance, just waiting to move in.
When his final score came out, it was 450.
Goodness, a full two hundred points short.
The house wasn't wasted, though, because he went to the neighboring Imperial Capital City College.
This is truly a sad story.
Ron made this serious left-leaning mistake, overestimating his own abilities.
However, Mrs. Weasley did not reprimand her excessively.
When you have five outstanding sons in a row, and then a fool finally comes along, from a probability perspective, you'll feel really lost.
Anyway, there's also a smaller version of Ginny, who is visibly excellent.
Losing a secondary account isn't a big deal.
However, Mrs. Weasley also bought several of Akali's latest magical item procrastination stickers.
This is specifically designed to help with procrastination.
That's right, it's the little curse created by Hermione, which has recently been released and is being snapped up by parents everywhere.
Mrs. Weasley was going to give Ron something in order to try and save her youngest son.
At the very least, we can't let him corrupt Harry, right?
Harry did better than Ron; he only failed Divination and History of Magic, but earned seven certificates.
His Defence Against Dark Magic was rated O, the only Excellent out of the nine subjects.
Harry felt a little disappointed... his dream of becoming an Auror was shattered because his Potions grades didn't meet the requirements.
But it didn't matter; Harry knew William was already buying up the Quidditch club.
After he graduates, he can join William's team and become a Quidditch player.
In the future, I can play Brothers Quidditch with Wood and win more club championships.
He and Krum also have a good relationship.
If all else fails, the three of them can band together and form the "Three Musketeers of the Wind and Dust." Not only could they establish a dynasty, they could become the Lord of the Rings!
He might even be able to join the national team and win glory for the country.
Hopefully, he'll have the courage to confess his feelings to Qiu then.
"Qiu, I want to drink your bathwater!"
Hermione's OWL results, like William's last year, earned her the utmost admiration from everyone.
She gave up one Divination but took eleven others, and then got eleven O's.
Another academic genius with all "O"s.
This put a lot of pressure on Anne.
Since 1995, the Stark family's OWL record has been entirely O.
This is also her OWL year, she can't possibly break this record, right?
Everyone was talking about grades when Harry walked over.
"William, can I talk to you alone?"
"No problem." William was a little surprised, but he still followed Harry to a place where no one could hear him.
Is there something you need?
William thought Harry wanted to ask Sirius, but he instead whispered about what had just happened.
"Ron and I ran into Draco Malfoy in Diagon Alley."
He deliberately shook off his mother and headed towards the Knockturn Alley, looking rather furtive.
Ron and I secretly followed him.
Seeing William's look, Harry quickly explained, "We wore Invisibility Cloak and weren't detected."
"The Invisibility Cloak isn't absolutely safe, Harry," William warned.
"This is wartime now, unlike before. You must be careful in everything you do, instead of secretly leaving the Order of the Order of the Phoenix to protect you."
He said in a somewhat stern tone:
"Not to mention, there are many dark wizards in Knockturn Alley, all of whom are Voldemort's followers."
It's Draco. His father was arrested by the Department of Mysteries, and now he hates us terribly.
"He knows you so well, what if he's deliberately trying to seduce you?"
Harry quickly apologized; he hadn't thought that far ahead, he just wanted to see what Malfoy was doing.
William was speechless.
I never expected Harry to be so reckless even after Department of Mysteries.
"So, what exactly did you discover that made you come all the way to see me?"
"I saw Malfoy go into Borgin and Burkes's," Harry said. "He was glaringly ordering that guy in the shop Borgin, to buy him something."
But Borgin said that everything was sold out and they couldn't find anything to buy recently.
"That doesn't prove anything," William shook his head. "Sea transport is blocked, shops are closed, and supplies are already scarce."
"There's more." Harry took a deep breath.
"At Madam Malkin's shop, when Madam Malkin was taking Malfoy's measurements and tried to touch his left arm, he jumped several meters away."
"You believe he was branded with the Dark Mark and took his father's place as Death Eaters?" William asked.
"Yes," Harry said cautiously.
"Malfoy also showed Borgin something that Ron and I didn't see, but it terrified Borgin."
Aside from the Dark Mark, I really can't think of anything that could scare Borgin.
"That's quite possible." William glanced at Harry and said, "After Lucius goes to prison, Voldemort might become a younger Malfoy and turn into Death Eaters."
"You think so too?" Harry perked up immediately.
He had just told Ron this, but Ron dismissed it, thinking it impossible.
"I was just saying maybe," William said calmly. "But there's never been a sixteen-year-old Death Eaters before."
"But Malfoy definitely has something in mind, and I think we should take it seriously," Harry insisted.
"Malfoy threatening Borgin to buy him things is likely related to Dark Magic, which is dangerous, isn't it?"
"So you shouldn't get any closer," William said.
"What you need to do is protect yourself and learn more magic, instead of getting distracted by worrying about Malfoy."
"But I need to investigate this thoroughly; I can't let him..."
"Professor Snape will investigate this matter," William interrupted.
"As long as Malfoy is at Hogwarts, he will be in no danger, whether he is Death Eaters or not."
Your attention shouldn't be on this.
"But..."
"You don't believe in Professor Snape or Dumbledore?" William asked sharply.
"Okay." Harry nodded.
He suddenly remembered that it was because of his curiosity that he had been lured by Voldemort, leading to the ambush of the Department of Mysteries.
Ron and his men almost died because of his stupidity.
As it turned out, Snape was right; if they had listened to him, none of that mess would have happened.
Harry decided to listen to William and study magic diligently.
He left quickly, and William didn't pay much attention.
As he said, whatever problems Malfoy has, the little spy Snape and the little bird Rita will find out.
Back then, Quirrell, Little Tom, and even Barty Crouch Jr.. didn't cause much of a stir at Hogwarts, so what use was Draco?
After inspecting Akali's Mystery Shop, William took Hermione and Anne to Gringotts.
Since the Death Eaters attacked Diagon Alley, the Goblin have increased security and are on high alert.
It takes an average person about five hours to withdraw money.
However, as a major customer, William naturally didn't need to wait that long.
The Goblin appeared respectful, but her attitude was actually incredibly ambiguous.
Neither siding with the Ministry of Magic nor with the Death Eaters, he wants to have his cake and eat it too—the ultimate swing.
Therefore, William had already withdrawn his millions of Galleon and did not keep them here.
Otherwise, what will happen if Galleon is gone?
However, he still left behind a considerable amount of gold... just to preserve the treasury.
One of Voldemort's Horcrux is in Bellatrix's vault.
The Goblin are still neutral and won't let William into Bellatrix's vault, so we'll have to force our way in.
However, forcing their way in would inevitably alert Voldemort.
William did not intend to alert the enemy before determining how many Horcrux he still possessed, or even before the final battle.
But that didn't stop William from taking some precautions beforehand.
For example... leaving a Vanishing Cabinet in your own vault, so you can sneak in at any time.
This is the real gold heist.
