The Fire Scene
If you were to ask which three cards are the worst in Tarot, the answer would undoubtedly be The Tower, The Hanged Man, and... Death.
The card depicts a towering structure that is struck by lightning and destroyed, with people falling from the collapsing tower.
In tarot Divination, the Tower symbolizes inevitable changes in life.
This change came suddenly, was incredibly intense, and was irresistible.
In other words, don't try to escape your fate; it's useless.
Of course, returning to the card itself, it depicts a person falling to their death from a high tower.
The Hanged Man's card is:
A person was hanging upside down from a tree trunk. His hands were tied behind his back, and his feet were tied to the trunk.
The Hanged Man is a card that represents surrender. It suggests that during this period, one can benefit greatly by submitting to life.
This is a card from the heart.
Death, the most enigmatic tarot card, ranks 13th.
Its location alone is enough to demonstrate how terrible it is.
Furthermore, according to the ancient calendar, the thirteenth month is also a month of death and rebirth.
The Death card is quite complex:
The skeleton man wore a hood and rode Thestral.
There was a flag nearby, with a black background and blurry patterns on it.
There were broken trees nearby, and a river flowed not far away...
The Death card is full of various symbols, but no matter how it is interpreted, its most important meaning is "the end".
Among these, death represents the end of everything, the cycle of all things in the world, which cannot be escaped.
At least, that's how Trelawney interpreted the Death Card when she did a tarot Divination for Dumbledore.
Good heavens... Cho couldn't help but glance at Trelawney.
This year's deaths, and Dumbledore's turn?
Trelawney predicts one death every year; perhaps she's tired of predicting students and is getting ready to practice on the professors.
William also looked at Trelawney with suspicion.
Her entry into "Great Seer Mode" is quite obvious; it's basically "Kogoro Mouri Mode."
He exuded an aura of a charlatan, and afterwards, he had absolutely no memory of it.
But that's definitely not the model now.
It seems like a completely different way of "threatening" Professor Dumbledore to drive Firenze out.
Otherwise... why would she suddenly perform Divination for Dumbledore?
The three entered the North Tower, and as they approached the Divination Classroom, the smell of alcohol became even stronger.
The fumes were so strong that even Sir Cadogan, who was not far away, felt dizzy and disoriented.
Drunk, he wanted to develop a relationship beyond friendship with the little pony he usually rode.
Upon seeing William, whom he hadn't seen in a long time, he disregarded his pony and, with his armor jingling, galloped towards them.
"Stark, you promised to introduce me to a lady from the Black family!!" he yelled. "Give it to me now!"
"I'll definitely do it next time!" William replied dismissively.
"I'll definitely do it next time," he always says.
Laozi want a lady from the Black family, and I want sweet love.
Laozi 'll kill you!
Sir Cadogan angrily drew their swords from their sheaths and began to swing them wildly, leaping up and down in their rage.
But the sword was too long for him, and the extremely wide-ranging attack caused him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.
"You despicable braggart! I will never tell you anything about Merlin again!" Sir Cadogan roared.
Sir Cadogan were Merlin's best buddies, and Kado got into Order of Merlin through his connections.
William often sought his advice about Merlin and even promised to find him a lady from the Black family.
He had obtained the intelligence, but the pimping job hadn't materialized, so it's no wonder he was so angry.
Qiu squinted, her expression strange, and said:
"Isn't Sirius the only member of the Black family? You're not planning to introduce him to... wait!!"
"What are you thinking?" William glanced around and whispered, "It's a portrait, not a person."
"Portrait..." Qiu squinted.
The Black House only has one female portrait, doesn't it?
A portrait of Sirius's mother!
Hmm... Qiu suddenly became excited.
She spent the last summer at Black's old house. That old woman was the most annoying one, always spewing profanities.
That time, she and the old woman argued for half an hour, but the other woman was still more skilled and almost made her explode with anger.
Now the chance for revenge has arrived.
"William, that's where you're wrong," Qiu said righteously. "How can you not keep your promise to Sir Cadogan?!"
Let's arrange for the two portraits to meet this Christmas; I'll take care of it.
"..."
Well... since Qiu said so, we can indeed put the framed picture of Sir Cadogan in Black's old house.
Although she's a bit older, she's still a lady.
Besides, if we're really talking about age, Cadogan is a thousand years older than him.
Upon entering the Divination Classroom, the smell of alcohol became even stronger.
It felt like stepping into a winery.
Trelawney settled lightly into an armchair, picked up a bottle of liquor, and gulped it down.
William drinks alcohol like water, and he is very worried that Professor Trelawney might suddenly die one day.
After all, according to the rule of deskmates, neither William nor Qiu can escape it.
"Darling, today we're going to study Fire Divination," Trelawney said, hiccuping.
"The color, size, shape of the flames, and the mysterious signs they display—only those who understand mystery can decipher their secrets."
Human destiny can be deciphered through the radiant light of flames, these lights intertwining...
The room was filled with a strange fragrance, mixed with the smell of alcohol, and Professor Trelawney's soul-summoning voice...
Two minutes later, Qiu was already dozing off.
William took out his notebook and wrote down Professor Trelawney's Prophecy.
He has written down many of Trelawney's Prophecy, and regardless of whether they are true or false, he will ponder them repeatedly.
"Come, let's make a fire." Professor Trelawney shakily pulled out her wand, intending to tap the pot.
Seeing her actions, William was afraid she would set her classroom on fire, so he took matters into his own hands.
Orange-red flames quickly ignited in the basin.
Trelawney suddenly widened her eyes, grabbed the bottle, and cried out in terror:
"I saw it, I saw it... a terrible disaster..."
"What did you see?" William quickly pulled out his notebook again.
The pine needles on the high mountain howl in the wind, and the night wind groans with despair.
The red fire burns in all directions.
The blooming tree was cremated.
The scorching lava... is about to destroy the entire school...
Trelawney started gulping down the Gulugulu again, but her hand slipped, and the bottle fell into the brazier, spilling wine all over the floor.
The high concentration of sherry acted as a flammable agent, and the flames shot up to the roof with a whoosh, then spread along the alcohol to the shelves.
A case of sherry on the shelf exploded with a bang under the high temperature.
Trelawney screamed in pain, reaching for water. She grabbed another bottle of wine from the chair and poured it into the fire.
William: "..."
He raised his wand, preparing to use "Aguamenti".
But the air was thick with the smell of alcohol, combined with the ubiquitous sherry and the "fueling" effect of Trelawney...
The fire quickly spiraled out of control, engulfing the office's cluttered spaces.
Well, Trelawney's Prophecy was spot on... it came true in just two seconds.
Autumn woke up groggily and saw a raging fire.
She suddenly remembered that today was supposed to be the day to teach Fire Divination.
But the teaching costs are just too high, aren't they?
(Okay, I can't finish writing the third update. The Third Crow failed its tribulation and regressed into an Explosive Crow.)
