Even though you live in a magical world, sometimes you have to believe in the superstition.

This is a mysterious power that seems illogical, yet it truly exists.

So, William, who was forced to endure so many disasters along with Hermione, was truly suffering.

But what could he do?

As the saying goes, if life has violated you, you can't resist, so you might as well cooperate with its posture.

William quickly adjusted his mindset and accepted the fact that "the wind in Ilvermorny is quite noisy tonight."

Something bad is bound to happen on Halloween... it's not like it's William who's in trouble.

Moreover, he was more interested in Ilvermorny's "Guardian Array" than Tom's escape.

I wonder which is better, Hogwarts or Hogwarts.

He was about to follow the professors out to check out defensive magic, hoping to steal some spells from them, when he turned back halfway there.

Because William heard the call coming from the Safety Watch.

Nicolas invented the Sound Transmission Conch, which allows for remote communication; this feature was also incorporated into William's Safety Watch.

He quietly left the crowd and headed towards a corridor.

Following the directions, William finally arrived at the door of a washroom.

Looking at the sign for the women's restroom, he hesitated, struggling with both physical and psychological tension.

He looked around again to make sure he wouldn't be seen or mistaken for a pervert before cautiously walking inside.

In the women's restroom,

Babbling and Hermione were there, waiting for him.

William stared at the two of them speechlessly. These girls were really interesting; they always met in the women's restroom.

Is this the same as the undercover agent meeting on the rooftop?

Hermione quickly told William about what had happened that day.

It turned out that Babbling had taken her for a stroll around the area around Ilvermorny, but they hadn't done anything else.

After the two finished talking, Babbling quickly said:

"The situation is urgent; Tom escaped from prison not long ago."

William hummed in agreement... A prison break was inevitable, after all, Tom wasn't really caught.

But William certainly hadn't expected them to cause such a commotion and lead a group of prisoners on a prison break.

Tom seems to be getting better and better at talking; at least among that group of burly men in prison who like to pick up soap, he's developed quite a silver tongue.

"Hermione, you will take Polyjuice Potion in a moment, transform into William, and join the other professors in the defense," Babbling began to instruct.

Hermione nodded seriously; this was a difficult task.

Having her play William was almost indistinguishable from the real thing; even the smallest details were portrayed with remarkable realism.

However, even though Targaryen often role-plays with William in private, she has never actually tried this kind of role.

"And you, William..." Babbling looked at William again.

"Professor, are we going to Appalachian Prison to stop Tom?" William asked, rubbing his hands together eagerly.

"Or should we go and steal the Prehistoric Mysteries left behind by Slytherin?"

William knew that Tom's main purpose in going to prison was to find that power.

Intercepting someone halfway through is his favorite thing to do.

Babbling shook her head, a smile playing on her lips, and said, "No, we have more important things to do."

"Did you see those wooden statues of the different departments in the Great Hall?"

William nodded hesitantly.

Babbling hooked her arm around his shoulder and laughed, "Let's go steal it!"

"Uh-huh?!!"

William never dreamed that one day, on the eve of Halloween, he would sneak into a magic school and try to steal... artifacts.

Isn't this Professor Tywin's modus operandi? First, he infiltrates a school as a teacher, then he steals things behind the scenes?

He stole the Ravenclaw Bronze Ring, while William wanted to steal the Sorting House wood carvings.

This is a cycle!

After seeing Hermione off, William and Babbling secretly went to the Great Hall together.

It was said to be done secretly, but it was actually done openly and honestly. Because the Great Hall was now completely empty.

The deans led the students back to their dormitories, while the principal led the professors to activate the defensive magic.

William had no idea why Babbling wanted to steal the wood carvings.

It's like sneaking into Hogwarts, taking nothing but the Sorting Hat.

As he approached, he carefully observed the four wooden statues.

These wood carvings are early 17th-century artworks created by Isolt Søren.

Even after nearly four hundred years, they remain incredibly lifelike.

If the material wasn't actually made of wood, it would look almost alive.

This is definitely a great product!

But they were also filled with magic, bound to the Great Hall by magic. William didn't know how Babbling had stolen them.

Just as he was pondering, Babbling suddenly asked:

"William, when that old hat of yours sorted you into your colleges, how many houses did it send you to?"

"Except for Slytherin, I'm being considered for all other options," William said after a moment's thought.

"Then why don't you try this place?"

William paused for a few seconds before realizing that Babbling wanted him to be sorted into a different department.

Theoretically, it's possible, since William comes from Hogwarts and he never attended Ilvermorny.

He walked to the Gordian Knot in the very center and then released his magic.

After a short while, all four wooden carvings simultaneously exhibited strange behavior:

The crystal embedded in the forehead of the Horned Serpent gleamed; the Wampus Cat roared; the Thunderbird flapped its wings and took flight; Pukwudgie raised the bow and arrow in his hand.

This means that all the colleges want William.

Babbling raised her wand, began chanting a spell, and then quickly said, "William, choose the Horned Serpent House."

Following her instructions, William approached the Horned Serpent and touched the gem on its head.

Suddenly, Babbling hissed, and after she spoke in Parseltongue, the wooden snake seemed to come alive and suddenly opened its eyes.

At the castle gate, everyone looked into the distance, towards the Appalachian Prison.

Firefights have already begun.

Ilvermorny is located Mount Greylock.

And on this mountain, there is also the famous Appalachian Trail.

This trail is 3,200 kilometers long, stretching from Mount Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia, passing through 14 states and 8 national forests.

Therefore, Ilvermorny is actually not far from Appalachian Prison.

Just then, the cries of several Fantastic Beasts suddenly rang out from inside the castle.

Principal Eulalie Hicks's expression changed.

This is the voice of someone who received recognition from all four colleges when they were assigned to a college.

This also indicates the emergence of a young wizard with exceptional talent.

But the students... have all returned to their dorms, so who's in the college?

Eulalie Hicks, wand in hand, ran toward the castle.

Apart from the few wizards who remained, the rest of the professors also went back.

They were stunned by the scene before them when they entered the Great Hall.

Chaos erupted inside the Great Hall; three of the centuries-old wooden sculptures had fallen over.

There's another one.

The Horned Serpent... is lost!
