The Contest Between Four Factions
It's still the story of the legendary witch Isolt Iser.
Before she dreamed of snakes, after arriving in North America aboard the Mayflower, she had saved a Pukwudgie.
The Pukwudgie was nearly killed by the Demiguise, Isolt chased Demiguise away.
Pukwudgie hated wizards, but he still formed a deep friendship with Isolt and stayed by her side until her death.
Isolt even nicknamed the Pukwudgie "William," after her father.
He even established an academy, the Pukwudgie House, based on his species.
After Isolt's death, the Pukwudgie named "William" disappeared, and no wizard ever saw him again.
Many people thought he was long dead, but today William and Babbling confirmed that he is still alive.
This is actually quite normal.
Pukwudgie are distant relatives of Goblin and also related to House-elf. They generally have a longer lifespan than wizards.
The most powerful magic abilities of the Pukwudgie, these Fantastic Beasts, are concealment and transformation into other animals.
It's possible that the school's wizards can't find him.
And he has probably been secretly protecting the school for Isolt all along.
When William followed Babbling to steal the Sorting Hall wood carving, he immediately tracked them down and successfully found the cave.
This cannot be blamed on Professor Babbling's lack of information.
No plan is perfect; unexpected events are the most normal thing.
The only problem is that, because of the arrival of this "William," forces from all sides have gathered around this Snakewood.
The first to arrive was undoubtedly the Horned Serpent.
It even began its planning three hundred years ago.
Not only did they appear in my dream, but they also gave me snake horns and painstakingly dug a hidden passage.
I wonder how many years they've been digging; their dedication is comparable to the Shawshank Redemption.
But it was also a classic case of starting early but finishing late.
The tunnels alone benefited the three factions behind them.
How pitiful!
I wonder if it Prophecy this day three hundred years ago.
The second largest force is Tom.
He must have been to this cave, but he kept it a secret from William and Babbling.
William was certain he had been there for a very simple reason: Snakewood trees do not flower, and have been for centuries.
Tom came to Ilvermorny, and the tree blossomed.
Only he, a descendant of Slytherin, could awaken this Snakewood.
According to Professor Babbling's investigation, Isolt buried Slytherin's Wand out of necessity.
Years ago, she stole her aunt's wand, and her aunt, naturally, was furious and chased after her.
Finally, Auntie died, and before she died, she used Parseltongue to command Slytherin's Wand to go into hibernation.
Although Isolt is a descendant of Slytherin, he did not inherit Parseltongue.
Like Dumbledore, she could only hear Parseltongue, but could not speak it.
When Tom arrived, he used Parseltongue to wake the snake, which then allowed the Snakewood to bloom.
Therefore, William concluded that he must have found the cave long ago.
Tom's influence was much greater.
Now that he's escaped from prison, he'll likely be able to smoothly enter the upper echelons of the Scourers.
With his abilities, it's only a matter of time before he takes control of this force.
Plus, he had the help of the little spy "Targaryen"...
Tom thought it was a stroke of genius that he discovered the Targaryen, immediately made contact with them, and tricked them into working for him.
Tom was full of confidence...
It was truly a stroke of genius; both William and Babbling were planning to use this identity to frame him.
It would be best to screw him over!
The two of them constitute this third-party force.
The last remaining force was Pukwudgie's side.
He may seem as weak and alone as the Horned Serpent, but he actually has Ilvermorny backing him.
The Snakewood is school property, Ilvermorny certainly can't let William and his gang take it away.
It's still too early to say who will emerge victorious; anything is possible, it all depends on who can hide their true strength the best.
After William and Babbling returned to Ilvermorny, Babbling casually tossed the wooden carving into a corner of the castle.
Now that the cave has been found, the wooden carving is no longer of any use.
It's fine to return it, but littering like this shows a complete lack of public morality.
William held it in utter contempt.
However, upon hearing that the Auror had already arrived and were waiting in the Great Hall, William decisively approved of Babbling's actions.
He suddenly realized that his moral standards easily dropped when he was working with Babbling.
This is bad!
William was determined to become a noble person, free from vulgar tastes.
So when he heard that the Auror and Mera Picquery were coming, he immediately kept his distance.
It's best not to get involved with this kind of "Targaryen" girlfriend developed by Babbling.
Now that the Auror had arrived, the matter of Tom leading a group of criminals to attack Ilvermorny was naturally dropped.
Why did he attack Ilvermorny?
Tom never does anything without a purpose; everything he does is meaningful.
He did this simply to boost his reputation, his reputation among the Scourers.
Secondly, it's likely that this is a rehearsal for future preparations.
We must obtain the Snakewood; if we can't get it, we'll have to steal it.
But it's not so easy to steal, especially from a magic school.
Tom needs to test Ilvermorny's magical defenses and the speed at which the Auror from the Magical Congress can provide support.
As it turns out, Ilvermorny is not Hogwarts, and the United States Auror is not the Great Auror.
Although both are fangs of the capitalist magical world, the Americans are still more powerful than the British.
Before leaving, William met with Tom, posing as a "Targaryen".
Professor Babbling was right; Tom indeed failed to find that Prehistoric Mysteries power.
He's in the wrong place!
But why did Tom initially assume it was Appalachia Prison?
Or perhaps the place that holds Prehistoric Mysteries power and this prison must have something in common, which is why Tom went to the wrong place.
What exactly is the most unique aspect of Appalachia Prison?
William didn't get much out of him; sixteen-year-old Tom was much more cautious than Voldemort.
With Tom gone, the Halloween commotion came to an end.
William still had some doubts, namely about the Slytherin statue he saw next to the Snakewood root.
Why would something like this appear in a cave?
William couldn't figure it out and needed to go back to Hogwarts to confirm.
After spending the night with Hermione in Ilvermorny, he returned to Hogwarts the next day using the Vanishing Cabinet.
There's no need to stay in Ilvermorny any longer; we can just wait for the Snakewood to wither away.
When William returned to Hogwarts, he found that the school he and Hermione attended was gone, and something had still happened.
As expected, the "Halloween curse" is an inevitable event that cannot be avoided.
William learned upon inquiring that it was a three-striped tiger that had broken into Hogwarts during the Halloween Feast.
It also smashed an Great Hall window with one paw, injuring a student.
It took several professors and several Stunning Spell to finally knock the Magical Creatures unconscious.
William was speechless.
What happened to the promised slide tackle that would kill the tiger?
Why wasn't anyone sliding in at that crucial moment?!
