Realm Mechanics
Breakthrough Conditions
Cultivators at the peak of the Yin Messenger Realm suffer severe mental imbalance when approaching the Yang God Realm. Most require more than a decade to regain composure before attempting the breakthrough, and ordinarily have only one viable chance to succeed 346.
At the Releasing Yin God level, a cultivator gains complete control over their Eerie Objects. The Mutation Trees of primary and secondary spells then bear anomalous fruits, establishing the basis for the Yang God Realm's future fusion 305.
Eerie Object Fusion
The Yang God Realm is defined by the fusion of Eerie Objects with both each other and the cultivator's body. In Ren Qing's breakthrough, his ghost shadow entered his flesh, bones, and organs, transforming his cells toward a shadow-like state 346.
This fusion requires cultivators to establish a clear relationship between primary and secondary spells. Ren Qing feared that an improperly positioned Taotie Method could be erased entirely during his eventual advancement 280.
Ascension Method
At the later stages of the realm, the cultivator's individual spells and Eerie Objects cease to exist as separate systems. Their complete fusion produces a unique Ascension Method, which is used to approach the Heavenly Eerie Realm 346.
Ren Qing's Dreaming Command Ascension Method was created to accommodate other spells; its upper limit was explicitly the Yang God Realm 464.
Capabilities
Nascent Divine Abilities
Yang God Realm advancement touches upon nascent divine abilities. Their forms differ even between cultivators with identical spells, as mutation paths, anomalous branches, and physiques affect the result 305.
- Dragon's Roar in the Scabbard — Ren Qing's nascent divine ability enlightens living things into subordinate pseudo-dragons; its initial form requires time to complete the transformation 329.
- Lightning Manifestation — Ren Qing employed this ability against Xuan Gongyue after revealing his Yang God Realm cultivation 362.
- Buddha Kingdom in Palm — The Physical Tathagata's later divine ability allowed cultivators to possess its Buddha statues and exert strength beyond their original realms 573.
Physical Transformation
Advancement alters the cultivator's body as well as their Eerie Objects.
- Ren Qing's body blackened during his fusion with the Shadowless Yin Demon, while his ghost shadow became dragon-shaped 346.
- He could transform into a hundred-meter black dragon after entering the realm 346.
- Song Zongwu became a Six-armed Asura upon breaking through 338.
- The Physical Tathagata's breakthrough produced a vast, self-proclaimed “Spirit Mountain Tathagata” formed from corrupted yet orthodox Buddha energy 565.
Large-Scale Influence
The residual power of a Yang God Realm cultivator can devastate their surroundings.
- Ren Qing's newly expanded ghost shadow covered thousands of meters and reduced a courtyard to ruins; he believed uncontrolled disturbances could destroy half of Wuwei City 346.
- His aura alone cracked the ground bricks beneath him 346.
- More than a dozen Yang God Realm cultivators releasing their power together pulverized nearby white bones and caused buildings to collapse 448.
- Yang God Realm cultivators possess organs and blood fundamentally unlike those of ordinary humans 606.
Limitations and Risks
- Mental instability — The approach to the realm causes mental imbalance and can force cultivators into lengthy recovery periods before a breakthrough attempt 346.
- Spell-system complexity — Every secondary spell must be promoted for the Myriad Yang Immortal stage; complex systems make further progress exceptionally difficult 346.
- Resource scarcity — Resources beyond the Yang God Realm are scarce, often forcing cultivators into centuries-long efforts to reach the Heavenly Eerie Realm 612.
- Incomplete methods — A crude Yang God Realm technique may still be weaker than an ordinary Yin Messenger Realm cultivator's spell 591.
- Artifact ceiling — Eerie Fetus Artifacts such as the ghost ship and South Mountain are limited to the Yang God Realm unless they consume suitable Eerie Objects 389.

Forbidden Zones and Artifacts
A Forbidden Zone in the Ten Thousand Mountains was suspected to involve a Yang God Realm cultivator, possibly one who died deliberately to seal the north–south passage 69.
Yang God Realm Forbidden Zones are considered particularly significant. The Dead Man Forbidden Zone was described as possessing unusual qualities simply by being able to persist in the world at that level 389.
