Before the heavenly screen appeared, Qian Daoliu stood at the pinnacle of Douluo cultivation as a Level 99 Peerless Douluo. As the Great Enshrined entrusted with the Angel God's legacy, he regarded gods as the highest existences. His status as a Divine Servant had nevertheless left his cultivation stagnant for decades 2 12 25.

His strength was a major deterrent to Spirit Hall's rivals. Ning Fengzhi described him as an insurmountable obstacle for the great sects, while Chen Xin later revealed that his father had died at Qian Daoliu's hands 3 33.

Qian Renxue's Disappearance

When Snake Lance Douluo and Porcupinefish Douluo reported Qian Renxue's disappearance, Qian Daoliu's anger unleashed pressure across Spirit City. The heavenly screen subsequently revealed that his granddaughter had been transported to the Dou Qi Continent 1 2.

Fearing that she might never return, he nearly collapsed and had to be steadied by Golden Crocodile and Azure Luan. Upon seeing her unconscious beside Xiao Yan, he repeatedly attempted to reach her through the screen, but could not cross it 2.

His despair turned to celebration when Hun Tiandi accepted Qian Renxue as a disciple. He anticipated that her eventual return could allow Spirit Hall to dominate the continent 3.

The Original Future

When Qian Renxue's first reincarnation appeared to place her back in the Heaven Dou crown prince's palace, Qian Daoliu rushed to protect her. He stopped after realizing that the broadcast did not depict a physical return 13.

He correctly inferred that the Samsara Scripture was replaying her original life. That sequence included his sacrifice during the Angel God Trial, Qian Renxue's ascension, and Spirit Hall's eventual destruction. His death belonged to the replayed original future, not the current timeline 14.

Spiritual Energy and the Struggle with Bibi Dong

After a Conversion Spirit Array appeared above Spirit Hall, the other enshrined nominated Qian Daoliu to absorb its initially limited Spiritual Energy first. Bibi Dong challenged his access, but he suppressed her pressure despite her Level 98 cultivation and Rakshasa power 24 25.

He accepted her proposal to secure the continent's other arrays rather than continue fighting internally, while warning that he could replace the Pope. He explained that he refrained from killing her because she was Qian Renxue's mother and because her entrenched support could plunge Spirit Hall into upheaval 25.

Pursuit of Tang San

After Snake Lance reported Tang San's hiding place, Qian Daoliu personally entered the Star Dou Great Forest to eliminate him. His divine sense located Tang Hao and Tang San, but the forest's powerful Soul Beasts intervened 31 32.

He defeated Xiong Jun in one move and gained the advantage against Di Tian's Dragon God Claw. However, he then sensed a stronger hidden presence. With Tang Hao and Tang San already beyond his detection range, he withdrew rather than escalate the conflict 32 33.

Qian Daoliu is intensely protective of Qian Renxue. Her disappearance drives him to threats, tears, and futile attempts to breach the heavenly screen. Her successful cultivation brings equally open joy, while danger from the Great Thousand World renews his concern that even Hun Tiandi and Xiao Yan might be unable to protect her 1 2 8 22.

Although devoted to the Angel legacy, he prioritizes his granddaughter's prospects over rigid adherence to tradition. His support for the Samsara Scripture—and his criticism of her refusal to exchange bloodlines—shows how quickly he will reconsider a position when offered a credible path to greater strength 10 34.
