Make Ah Yin His Maid?

Two days later, the five of them were walking through the mixed zone of the Star Dou Great Forest.

The mixed zone was the domain of Thousand-Year Soul Beasts, though a large number of Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts also occupied it. To find the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, Qian Xunling had previously sent Golden Crocodile and the other offerings to comb through the area.

As soon as Qian Xunling's scent entered the area, any Soul Beasts with keen noses immediately slipped away. There was no need for Chen Jianjun or Chen Xin to lift a finger.

Chen Jianjun asked curiously, "Young Master Xunling, I'm curious what exactly you did in this area before. We've been walking for at least a day, yet we haven't seen a single Soul Beast. Even the few older Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts took one look at us and ran."

Qian Xunling smiled. "Perhaps they realized Little Spider was trouble and didn't dare show themselves."

"What does that have to do with me, Martial Uncle?" Little Spider tilted her head as she asked. Then she immediately realized what Qian Xunling meant: he was calling her a spider in a roundabout way. She huffed, "It's not because of Little Spider. Martial Uncle scared them away."

With that, Bibi Dong pursed her lips and gripped Qian Xunling's clothes tightly, as though she were pinching his flesh. But to Qian Xunling, it had no force at all.

Just then, however, Qian Xunling raised his hand and stopped.

Bibi Dong thought her martial uncle was angry. She immediately let go, held her head in her hands, and lowered it as she apologized softly. "Martial Uncle, Little Spider shouldn't have been mean to you. Little Spider won't dare do it again."

"Quiet, something's happening." Qian Xunling looked at Bibi Dong. She immediately covered her mouth, blinked, and nodded. At the same time, Qian Xunling threw out the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, covering all five of them.

Chen Jianjun and Chen Xin were a little slower to sense what lay ahead.

A woman and a girl were approaching, along with a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. Both the woman and the girl were Transformed Soul Beasts. One had cultivation at the Soul Emperor level, while the other was only at level twenty and appeared to have only just taken human form.

Chen Jianjun's expression turned solemn, and a trace of surprise flashed across his face. He then asked Qian Xunling, "Young Master Xunling, there are three Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts ahead, but two have already taken human form. Only one Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast can threaten us. Should we attack?"

The temptation of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast was immense to Soul Masters.

Even though both Chen Jianjun and Chen Xin already had a full complement of Soul Rings, they still wanted to capture these Soul Beasts, because their value was simply too great.

Just then, a gentle, black-haired woman in plain white robes and a blue-haired girl in a blue dress slowly came into the five people's view. A large pink rabbit hopped along behind them.

"How pretty." Bibi Dong smiled as she looked at the woman and the girl. When she saw the large pink-and-white rabbit, her eyes lit up even more. She cupped her cheeks, opened her mouth, and exclaimed excitedly, "What a cute bunny!"

"This is my first time seeing Transformed Soul Beasts. I didn't expect them to be so stunning," Chen Jianjun couldn't help remarking.

Chen Xin, on the other hand, looked utterly indifferent, his eyes full of killing intent, as though he were already prepared to capture the three Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts.

Qian Xunling, by contrast, let out a somewhat unsettling chuckle as he stared at Ah Yin. "Good, good. I wore out iron shoes searching for you in vain, only to find you without the slightest effort. I was just getting ready to look for you, and here you come right to me."

"Don't act rashly yet. That Hundred-Thousand-Year rabbit and the black-haired woman are both Soft Bone Rabbits. They have Void, Teleportation, Invincible Golden Body, and other extremely powerful abilities for escaping. We'll attack when they get closer. We must capture them."

"The other two can get away, but we absolutely cannot let that blue-haired girl escape. Understood?"

Chen Jianjun and Chen Xin wanted to ask why Qian Xunling was so fixated on the blue-haired girl, but they held their tongues and nodded instead. They were also surprised that the two Soft Bone Rabbits possessed such powerful means of survival.

That would make them difficult to capture.

Ah Yin's pretty face was troubled. She looked at Ah Rou, who was watching with relish, and gave her an annoyed push.

Ah Rou laughed. "I told you long ago to take human form with me. Now look at you: your cultivation is weaker than mine, and you've run into something like that."

"How was I supposed to know?" Ah Yin said resentfully. Then she took Ah Rou's hand and shook it. "Ah Rou, stop teasing me."

"All right, all right," Ah Rou replied indulgently.

The two women strolled leisurely through the forest while the pink rabbit played by herself behind them. Just as they completely let down their guard!

Qian Xunling spoke. "Go."

Chen Jianjun and Chen Xin charged forward. Ah Rou, Ah Yin, and Xiao Wu stared at them in terror, but in an instant, Soul Rings appeared beneath their feet.

Just as they were about to flee, however, Qian Xunling withdrew the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and called out, targeting Ah Yin alone: "Vast Sea Immobilization Shroud!"

A pale blue mist of light burst from the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and enveloped Ah Yin in an instant. Her entire body was unable to move; only her breathing and her eyes still functioned.

It was then that Ah Yin saw the hateful human who kept her awake at night!

Qian Xunling!

"Ah Yin!" Realizing Ah Yin had been immobilized, Ah Rou immediately cried out in alarm. But Chen Xin had already reached her and unleashed his First Soul Skill: "Seven Kill Sword Emerges!"

"Invincible Golden Body!" Ah Rou shouted at the same time. Golden light covered her entire body, blocking Chen Xin's sword strike.

"So hard. So this is Invincible Golden Body," Chen Xin said in surprise.

But just then, Ah Rou immediately unleashed her Third Soul Skill: "Teleportation!"

Qian Xunling saw through Ah Rou's intention to take Ah Yin with her. Chen Jianjun couldn't possibly kill Xiao Wu in a short time.

Xiao Wu had just as many means of escape as Ah Rou, as well as the cultivation of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. The only person in immediate danger now was Ah Yin.

Qian Xunling would not let Ah Rou succeed, however. He said coldly, "Sixth Soul Skill, Time Stop."

The Divine Aspect Martial Soul appeared behind Qian Xunling. At the same time, black and white light burst forth, enveloping Ah Rou and Ah Yin, along with Xiao Wu.

"What Soul Skill is this? Time stopped? How can there be such a terrifying Soul Skill?" At that moment, both Ah Rou and Ah Yin were dumbfounded.

Qian Xunling paid no attention to their astonished looks. Instead, he chuckled as he walked toward Ah Yin and said coldly, "Long time no see, Miss Blue Silver Emperor. Judging by how surprised you were when you saw me just now, it seems you've missed me quite a bit during this time. What a coincidence. I've missed you too."

"Ha." Qian Xunling released the Vast Sea Immobilization Shroud's hold on Ah Yin and freed her from the effects of Time Stop as well. Her eyes red, she looked at Qian Xunling. As though she had forgotten her current cultivation, she immediately unleashed Blue Silver Grass to stab at him. Qian Xunling raised a hand and waved, shattering the Blue Silver Grass. "It's useless.

"I already told you before: if you fell into my hands, I'd make you wish you were dead."

At the same time, Qian Xunling came before Ah Yin and looked at her coldly. Then he sneered. "Did you think that just because you became a Transformed Soul Beast and turned into a little girl, I'd go soft on you?"

"Hateful human, kill me or cut me to pieces as you please, but don't you dare humiliate me," Ah Yin said, her voice choked with tears.

"Kill you? Why would I kill you? When you were still Blue Silver Grass, I had countless ways to torment you. Now that you've become human, I don't have quite so many, but it's much the same." Qian Xunling smiled, looked at Ah Rou and Xiao Wu, then turned back to Ah Yin and continued, "I want you to become my maid, for the rest of your life."

"A maid!?"

Aside from Ah Yin, Bibi Dong was the most surprised. Didn't that mean this girl, who was about as pretty as she was, would be living with them from now on?

Bibi Dong felt a vague sense of displeasure.
