"Both sides were badly hurt?" Luo Feng looked at the silver dragon, its tail covered in blood and its body swaying unsteadily, then at the Warrior of the Ninth Rank, who had been sent flying and was now leaning against a tree, gasping for breath. He was a little surprised by the outcome.

"No, that's not right. There's still that old man. He's preparing to cast the Vacuum Annihilation Art, but the silver dragon has completely lost its fighting strength. I suppose they've won this battle." Luo Feng felt somewhat helpless. He greatly admired the silver dragon, both for its strength and its conviction in battle.

Then something suddenly occurred to Luo Feng. The Level 9 Great Mage Master-I can't beat him, but he's preparing a spell right now. He has no way to deal with me, so couldn't I kill him? Once a warrior gets close to a mage, there's only one road left for the mage: death.

But he's in the sky. How... how can I help?

Luo Feng looked around, and an idea suddenly struck him. He quickly climbed a tree. He could use the towering trees around him and jump from their branches to get close to the Level 9 Great Mage Master.

"Hah!" Die! The Level 9 Great Mage Master could be said to have no fighting strength at all right now, and Luo Feng wasn't about to pass up the chance. He raised his greatsword high and leaped from the treetop, lifting the sword over his head. Battle qi erupted from his entire body as he slashed at the Level 9 Great Mage Master.

Just as Luo Feng exhausted all his battle qi and slashed at him, the Level 9 Great Mage Master opened his eyes, his heart filled with boundless joy. He was about to capture this Level Nine Magical Beast, the silver dragon. For all these years, he had never sought a magical pet for no other reason than that none had caught his eye. Now he had found this silver dragon, one of the very finest Level Nine Magical Beasts. How could he not be happy?

The old man had now completed the ninth-level Wind Element magic spell Vacuum Annihilation Art, a single-target spell said to be capable of killing even someone in the Saint Domain, provided the caster had enough magic power.

The moment he cast the spell, Luo Feng's sword qi arrived and struck the Level 9 Great Mage Master squarely. But Luo Feng's sword failed to strike the Great Mage Master himself as intended. While gathering his battle qi, he had cast a Wind Element magic shield on himself, and the sword struck the shield instead.

"Bang!" The impact was powerful, and the old man had failed to notice Luo Feng beside him. The blow sent him flying several meters. The ninth-level Wind Element magic spell in his hands, Vacuum Annihilation Art, had already taken shape, and caught off guard, he accidentally had his spell, which had been aimed at the silver dragon, knocked off course by Luo Feng.

A piercing shriek rang out as an enormous vacuum blade swept toward the silver dragon. It was so fast there was simply no time to react. But because of Luo Feng's interference, its aim had shifted, so it missed and struck not far from the silver dragon instead.

"Bang!" "Boom!" "Boom!"

"Damn you, boy! I'll kill you! Do you have any idea how much effort I put into this? You actually ruined my plan! I'll cut you into a thousand pieces!" The old man, who had been sent flying, was overcome with rage.

He had gone to so much trouble, and all the elites of his mercenary group had died. He could have subdued the silver dragon, only for this boy to ruin everything when it had all been going so well. Spitting out a mouthful of blood, the old man roared at Luo Feng.

Wind Blades flew down from the sky toward Luo Feng. It wasn't that the old man didn't want to use stronger magic, but a single Vacuum Annihilation Art had drained most of his magic power.

But Luo Feng wasn't foolish enough to take on such a dense barrage of Wind Blades. I'll run first. He's in the sky, and I'm on the ground. However I fight, I'll be at a disadvantage. He doesn't have much magic power left, but who knows whether he has a potion to restore it?

He rushed over to the silver dragon and saw it lying at death's door, with none of the nobility it had shown when he first saw it. Streaks of vividly beautiful blood stained the ground: the silver dragon's blood.

Luo Feng was somewhat shocked. Didn't the old man's spell miss it? Why is it at death's door? He looked around and saw an enormous crater beside the silver dragon. The Vacuum Annihilation Art had indeed missed, but its aftershock had inflicted considerable damage on the dragon.

The Warrior of the Ninth Rank, who had been recovering his battle qi nearby, no longer cared how much he had recovered. He drew on the battle qi he had just regained and charged at Luo Feng.

"I know you can understand me. Hurry and shrink yourself. I'll take you out of here," Luo Feng said to the dying silver dragon when he saw the Warrior of the Ninth Rank approaching. Although the warrior had not recovered much battle qi, Luo Feng had used all of his in that last strike. How could he be a match for the two of them? In their fury, they wanted nothing more than to tear him apart alive.

The silver dragon's faint breath seemed to give Luo Feng a hint. A moment later, a shrunken silver dragon about two meters long lay there.

Without another word, Luo Feng dropped his greatsword, hoisted the silver dragon onto his back, and fled at breakneck speed.

Although he had no battle qi left, Luo Feng was at least in excellent physical condition and ran with great agility.

"Boy, you still think you can escape? I'll tear you apart to vent the hatred in my heart!" The Warrior of the Ninth Rank was chasing him from behind. He was much faster than Luo Feng and soon caught up to him.

"Die, boy!" He threw a punch at Luo Feng, who had the silver dragon on his back. If the blow landed, the dragon probably wouldn't survive. With no other choice, Luo Feng tossed the silver dragon aside and took the Warrior of the Ninth Rank's punch himself.

"Pfft!" Luo Feng spat out a large mouthful of blood. Most of his bones were shattered, and the punch to his chest had shaken his internal organs. Blood continued to seep from a wound so deep that bone was visible.

The blood from his back flowed over Luo Feng's body. His skin hurt all over, as though boiling water had been poured on it. Forcing himself to endure the pain, he kicked the Warrior of the Ninth Rank. Neither of them had any battle qi left, so they were fighting purely with physical strength. Fortunately, Luo Feng had trained his body since childhood, and in terms of physique alone, he was not necessarily inferior to the Warrior of the Ninth Rank.

Luo Feng's kick sent the Warrior of the Ninth Rank flying a long way. Swaying unsteadily, Luo Feng picked up the silver dragon again and continued to flee.

There was pain, but at this moment Luo Feng had forgotten it.

The old man in the sky seemed to see Luo Feng, but he had little magic power left. Even if he saw him, there was nothing he could do but watch the big man and Luo Feng fight hand to hand. He couldn't be of much help.

Scenes kept surfacing in Luo Feng's mind, from his childhood training to his younger brother's adorable face. His unwillingness to give up kept him going. His eyes were already beginning to lose focus, but he held on with determination. He didn't know how far he had run when he saw a large lake ahead.

He staggered and fell into the lake, drifting downstream with the water. After swallowing several mouthfuls of water, Luo Feng coughed, then lost consciousness completely.
