In the blink of an eye, three days passed. Hardly a soul could be seen on the streets, in the restaurants, or anywhere else within Chiyan City's territory. Unless they had something tremendously important to attend to, nearly everyone in the Chiyan City area had headed to the eastern wilderness outside the city, waiting for the extraordinary showdown that was about to take place.

In this era, Saint Domain experts generally lived in seclusion or rarely came out to fight. It was a stroke of luck to be able to see a duel between two peak Warriors of the Ninth Rank, the strongest fighters below the Saint Domain.

The wilderness east of the city.

As its name suggested, the area was so desolate that not even weeds grew there. Only a few scattered rocks lay on the ground. Because it bordered the Magical Beast Forest, hardly anyone usually came here. Today, however, it was packed with people.

A sea of people filled the ground in the eastern wilderness, but in the air there was only one man and one beast. Standing high above the ground on the head of the Level Nine Magical Beast Winged Bird Dragon King, he stared sharply ahead, quietly awaiting Luo Feng's arrival!

Suddenly, Cass looked west.

A blurred, silvery-white phantom shot toward him from the distance at incredible speed. Even Cass felt his heart tremble. So fast! That flying speed alone is several times faster than mine at the very least, and that's not even his maximum combat speed.

The spectators who had been chattering among themselves fell quiet, as though the silence were passing from person to person. Within scarcely three seconds, the eastern wilderness, where more than a hundred thousand people had gathered, fell completely silent. Only the constant howling of the wind could be heard. Everyone looked up at the two figures in the sky.

Luo Feng and Cass.

"You came?"

"I came. Enough nonsense. Let's begin," Luo Feng's cool voice rang out across the sky. Whoosh! The blurred, silvery-white phantom abruptly stopped, revealing a Level Nine Magical Beast, a Silver Dragon, with Luo Feng on its back.

"The battle has begun!"

Everyone stared at the two figures above, silently wondering:

Will a genius fall, or will another genius rise in triumph?

"The sky isn't our battlefield. Let's go down and fight to our hearts' content, Cass," Luo Feng said with a faint smile.

With that, he sent a voice transmission to Wa'ersi. "Wa'ersi, I'll leave that Winged Bird Dragon King to you. Don't let him interfere with our fight." Then he jumped from Wa'ersi's back and landed steadily in the open space.

Seeing Luo Feng do this, Cass naturally would not remain in the air. He himself knew that if they fought in the sky, the Winged Bird Dragon King beneath him could not compare to Luo Feng's Silver Dragon. Whether in physique, bloodline, or speed, it was almost completely outmatched. And naturally, he could not understand what Luo Feng was thinking either.

Clang! Cass drew the golden greatsword from his back and looked solemnly at Luo Feng.

"Watch out!" Cass shouted coldly, then moved.

Luo Feng refused to be outdone. Fist shadows filled the sky, and a gale suddenly arose where a gentle breeze had been blowing, sweeping furiously across heaven and earth. Luo Feng's figure blurred into the gale. The howling wind swept over the mountains surrounding the eastern wilderness, and with a crack, a great tree snapped in two. The other trees were bent over as well. Leaves were blown wildly through the air, and countless fallen leaves and pieces of rock flew down from the mountains.

Their opening exchange ended in a draw.

The other spectators held their breath as they watched.

Cass stood in the open space, as steady as a mountain despite the howling gale. Luo Feng's blurred figure appeared here and there within the wind.

His long hair whipping wildly around his shoulders, Luo Feng stood quietly in place, a sharp light flickering in his eyes. His aura grew stronger and stronger, like a towering mountain radiating an overwhelmingly oppressive presence. A terrifying, heart-stopping aura like that of a magical beast burst from his slender frame.

Their gazes met again, striking sparks in the air, and a powerful will to fight began to spread between Cass and Luo Feng.

As the auras within the arena continued to rise, everyone watched without blinking. No one wanted to miss the thrilling contest.

The two figures, motionless until now, suddenly moved and charged at each other.

"Raging Waves Surge! Take this!" Cass roared. Gritting his teeth, he struck with all his might. It was his strongest blow, one approaching the Saint Domain, and he slashed fiercely at Luo Feng.

"Hmph." Luo Feng showed no fear. "Swift Wind, break it!"

Luo Feng stomped his right foot forward. With a sharp explosive crack, several fissures split the hard ground beneath him. His body shot upward as if propelled by a rocket, then suddenly sprang forward like a hunting leopard.

Moving at extreme speed, he reached Cass in an instant. His body dipped slightly, tracing a perfect, fleeting arc through the air. His legs had already turned into a blur, and surging force swept down toward Cass's head.

Cass instinctively raised his greatsword to block, only to fall right into Luo Feng's plan. Luo Feng changed direction with his footwork and slipped to Cass's side. Wielding Something Light as Though It Were Heavy, he unleashed Swift Wind. Fist shadows filled the sky, instantly tearing through Cass's attack, then continued toward him with force to spare.

Cass narrowed his eyes, clearly caught somewhat off guard by Luo Feng's lightning-fast speed. But he brandished his Battle-qi and slashed four times-slash, slash, slash, slash-neutralizing Luo Feng's attack as well.

"Hah!"

"Hah!"

"Ha! That felt good! Again!" Luo Feng shook out his numb arms. He felt that not having a weapon put him at a disadvantage. It seemed he would have to make himself a pair of gloves to wear later. Otherwise, he would have to use his fists in every duel. Although he had tempered his body since childhood, it still could not compare to a weapon, and the pain was intense.

Furious shouts rang out almost simultaneously. Accompanied by the roar of a gale and carrying boundless power and surging Battle-qi, the golden greatsword cleaved straight at Luo Feng. Luo Feng's fist, meanwhile, smashed toward Cass like a mountain.

The two collided head-on.

Boom!

It was as though two mountains had crashed together high in the air. The terrifying impact created a fearsome current visible to the naked eye. Like sharp blades, it snapped the great trees below, and some enormous boulders were blown to pieces. Countless clouds of dust and fragments of rock fell from above in every direction.

Cass felt waves of numbness and aching pain coming through the golden greatsword he had just infused with Battle-qi. He was utterly shocked. What kind of monster is this Luo Feng? Every fist shadow carries such astonishing power. Fist shadows filling the sky and moving impossibly fast would be one thing, but each one also carries astonishing power. Is Luo Feng's body really that tough?

In just a few simple exchanges, the fierce clash of absolute power and speed had brought the spectators' sight and hearing to a peak of astonishment! They looked at Luo Feng, standing defiantly at the center of the storm, his long hair flying, as mighty and formidable as a demon god. They looked at the ground beneath his feet, once hard and whole, now broken into a spiderweb of cracks. One word rose unbidden in everyone's mind: "Monster!"

"Ha! Cass, interesting. You're the strongest person I've ever met, and you're worth fighting with my full strength. Stop hiding your strength too. Use everything you've got and fight me to your heart's content!" A short distance away, Luo Feng felt the passion of battle and laughed.
