Forward, into the Necropolis
Luo Feng took a deep breath. Even he had to admit that one person's strength was not enough. When Linley and the others went to explore the Necropolis of the Gods, there were so many powerful Saint Domain at the Peak Saint Domain who could cooperate with each other, but he was alone.
"If the opening of the Necropolis of the Gods this time follows the original story, then the first level will not encounter that terrifying Deity level magical beast, the Ba-Serpent. Instead, it will be a desert world full of illusions, and all I need to do is fly around to find the entrance to the second level." Luo Feng looked at the end of the passage that was glowing with black light and stepped directly into it. Immediately, the world spun around him and the surrounding environment changed drastically.
"Whoosh!" A fierce wind howled, and yellow sand filled the sky.
This is a desolate desert world, where the yellow sand whipped up by the gale blurs the sky and the earth, and the heatwave distorts the air itself.
"There's a monster there." Luo Feng could clearly see in the distance a ferocious monster, hundreds of meters tall, with triangular markings on its head, roaring. Its scales gleamed with a metallic sheen, and its sharp fangs were coated with slime. "This monster looks very powerful."
Luo Feng frowned. Regardless of anything else, these illusions were no match for Luo Feng. Luo Feng naturally knew that the first level of the desert world was full of mirages.
Sure enough, Luo Feng soon saw that a lot of the swirling yellow sand actually passed through the body of the ferocious beast, and after a short while, the ferocious beast simply disappeared.
Now Luo Feng was completely certain that he had entered the same Necropolis of the Gods that Linley and the others had entered. With this hint, Luo Feng felt much more at ease. Although he was alone, he had their experience. Although the original work did not describe in detail where the entrance to the second level was, he had a general idea of it.
Luo Feng muttered to himself, "This godforsaken place, with its endless yellow sand, distorted space, and frequent phantoms, makes it impossible to even see people clearly. It seems I can only rely on luck. I still have to see when I can find the entrance to the second level. There are absolutely no shortcuts in this level."
Luo Feng stopped thinking about it and flew straight ahead.
After flying for a long time, Luo Feng still hadn't found the entrance to the second level. Flying aimlessly for so long, like a headless fly, was incredibly frustrating. "This damned place is full of illusions, hard to distinguish from the real thing, it's so annoying. I can't keep flying in one place. I should explore everywhere and find a passage to enter the second level immediately. If I stay on this level for too long, it'll be a huge waste of time, and I might even run into more trouble."
After Luo Feng finished speaking, he flew away at top speed, increasing his speed as he flew towards the northwest corner.
Half a month later, Luo Feng was a little helpless. He had flown almost all the way there, but he still couldn't find the entrance to the second level. There was only this last corner left. If he didn't go in now, wouldn't he have to start all over again? His luck was really bad.
The scorching heatwave distorted space as Luo Feng flew through the air, carefully observing his surroundings and searching for a passage.
"Whoosh!" A beam of light suddenly shot out from the yellow sand below, heading straight for Luo Feng. Luo Feng immediately kicked out, his massive leg, seemingly forged from steel, striking out with Lightning. With a crack, the beam of light was shattered by the impact.
Immediately afterwards, three skeletons with diamond-like surfaces burst out of the yellow sand at lightning speed.
"Human, you'd better hand over your corpse obediently, and we'll give you a quick death." One of the three Saint Domain undead spoke, a lively fire still burning in his eyes. The three Saint Domain skeletons surrounded Luo Feng, each holding a weapon.
Far from being alarmed, Luo Feng was secretly delighted. After searching for so long, he had finally found these remaining skeletons. If they had appeared half a month ago, he might have already reached the second level. Luo Feng glanced at the three Saint Domain undead and smiled, "Then you can take them yourself."
Upon hearing Luo Feng's words, the three undead from the Saint Domain simultaneously thrust their bone scimitars and bone long swords at him. Luo Feng Luo Feng at them and realized their strength was at most comparable to Mackenzie's; how could they be a match for him?
However, a shriek echoed through the air. The combined attack of these three Saint Domain undead was not to be underestimated. If one of them was the strength of Mackenzie, then the three of them were the strength of Haydson. To Luo Feng, they were utterly insignificant.
Suddenly, countless purple palm shadows soared into the air. A metallic clang rang out, and the three Saint Domain undead were sent flying back. Luo Feng Luo Feng had done this intentionally; he hadn't killed them. This was merely the Profound Mysteries of Speed Swift Wind Element, a profound and mysterious wind-elemental attack. While Swift Wind was extremely fast and launched in numerous attacks, its pure offensive power was weak, at least not against the remaining skeletons. So it only repelled them.
Seeing Luo Feng's formidable strength, the three Saint Domain skeletons didn't hesitate at all, roaring as they surged directly towards the yellow sand below. Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!
The profound mystery of Luo Feng's Laws of Wind ' Profound Mysteries ' relies on speed, so naturally he couldn't let them fly away. If they did, where would he find the entrance to the second level? Their aimless flight over the past half month had given Luo Feng a major headache, so naturally he wouldn't let them go.
With a whoosh, Luo Feng flew rapidly to the three skeletons, who tried to hide deep in the yellow sand. But Luo Feng wasn't about to let them get away with it. With a punch to the ground, the three skeletons were thrown out of the sand by the force of Luo Feng's fist. Luo Feng killed two of the Saint Domain skeletons with a palm strike, and then grabbed the last one.
"Take me to the entrance to the second level, and I might spare your life. Otherwise, you'll die. I'm sure I can find plenty of Saint Domain skeletons if I keep looking. I don't care about your life. How about it? Think it over carefully," Luo Feng said with a faint smile.
The Saint Domain Skeleton saw a slight smile on Luo Feng's lips. In his eyes, Luo Feng was more terrifying than a demon. How could he dare to refuse? He nodded directly and said, "Alright, as long as you promise to let me go, I'll take you there."
"You're smart enough to know what's good for you. Don't worry, I keep my word. Alright, let's go." Seeing that the Saint Domain Skeleton was being so lenient, Luo Feng felt incredibly stifled for the past two weeks. Without any battles, he had just been flying around like a headless fly.
Luo Feng grabbed the Saint Domain Skull in his hand and flew away at top speed, rushing off in the direction Saint Domain had given him.
Once Luo Feng Luo Feng had truly left, the two Saint Domain skeletons, who had been broken in two by him, immediately grabbed their severed halves. For the undead, as long as their soul fire remained intact, they wouldn't die. They could easily reconnect their broken bodies. Luo Feng, however, forgot to extinguish their soul fire, but that didn't matter anymore.
With a hiss, several Saint Domain skeletons sprang out, surrounding and killing the two heavily wounded Saint Domain skeletons, and finally devouring the soul fire of the two Saint Domain undead.
"That human is terrifying. He killed several of my companions with a wave of his hand. It seems he's not far from becoming a Deity level expert." One of the Saint Domain skeletons looked up into the distance. "I wonder when we'll be able to collect enough corpses." The Saint Domain skeletons then darted into the yellow sand.
