Side quest triggered: Eliminate the vampire population of New Orleans Quest objective: Eliminate all vampires in New Orleans and the vampire progenitor, Drake Quest rewards: 2,000 energy points, 3 random draws, 1 designated draw

Looking at the newly appeared side quest, Xiahou accepted it, then said to Abigail, "Let's go. This time, we'll kill them all! Then I'll show you what a master angler looks like!"

The two of them then went to summon everyone else in the base to the hall.

Once everyone had arrived, Blade spoke first. "I apologize for what I said earlier! I didn't mean to look down on you. I just thought this was my responsibility. If you can't accept that, I can deal with them myself..."

But before he could finish, Abigail rushed up and punched him hard, cutting off the rest of his words.

"What did you say? Stop being so full of yourself, Blade! Aren't we all here to fight vampires? Even without you, we'd still do it! How can you say that to my father?" Abigail shouted at Blade, worked up.

The others also looked at Blade angrily, but he said nothing more and simply stood there in silence.

Unlike the others, Xiahou simply said, "Maybe you just don't want these people to get hurt, but please respect their choice too. This isn't your responsibility alone. There's no need for you to be a tragic lone hero."

While telling Abigail Siegfried's story just now, Xiahou had once again found a different meaning in it, one unlike that of his own homeland. Maybe even if he didn't agree with these people's ideals, this was still meaningful, wasn't it? At least when people faced tragedy, they would hope for a hero to step forward and bring them light!

Xiahou extended his right hand toward Blade, who was standing alone, and held his fist out in front of him.

"Maybe you're strong, but we won't hold you back either. This time we're a team, and you're not alone anymore! Let's face the battle ahead together! Entrust your back to us! Then we'll kill them all! Afterward, we'll come back, sit down with some beer, and talk about our plans for the future!" After saying that, he looked at Blade seriously and waited for his response.

Looking at the fist in front of him, Blade felt a stirring he hadn't felt in a long time. Then he slowly raised his right hand and placed it over Xiahou's fist.

Seeing this, Abigail slowly put her hand on top as well.

Hannibal followed close behind, then Little Black, Little Fatty, Zoe, and Field, whom she was supporting.

As the leader of the Nightcrawler Squad, Abigail spoke up. "Nightcrawler Squad! Move out! Kill them all!"

She raised their stacked hands high.

The others shouted in unison, "Kill them all!"

Together, they brought their hands down hard. At that moment, everyone's hearts were united behind a single goal.

When they went to Little Fatty's equipment room to gather the gear they each needed,

Field said, "Oh, right, I forgot to mention it earlier. I found the vampires' headquarters. I looked it up, and it's a pharmaceutical company! But it's not the same address we got before."

Xiahou said, "That should just be their decoy. I think I remember it being a blood bank! I think the address we got before is their real headquarters. We can deal with the pharmaceutical company later."

"Also, I suggest that while we attack them, Field, Little Fatty, and the others move somewhere else, in case they come after our base."

No one raised any objections, apparently agreeing with Xiahou.

After packing enough specially made silver bullets and various pieces of specialized equipment, Abigail handed Xiahou a Daystar.

She said, "Apart from Blade, you're the strongest among us physically. If I miss, you deliver the final blow!"

Xiahou took it and said, "Leave it to me! When the time comes, I'll do everything I can to hold Drake off. Blade, when you see us use Daystar, back off a little first!"

Blade didn't answer, only giving an almost imperceptible nod.

Xiahou got into the same car as Abigail, Hannibal, and Blade. The others got into another car, and the two vehicles left the base together.

When they reached an intersection, Little Black, who was driving, called out to Xiahou and the others, "Good luck! Stay safe!"

Abigail replied, "You be careful too. Go to the other safe house and wait to hear from us!"

The two cars then headed off in different directions, gradually growing farther apart. The setting sun gradually softened, becoming like a great red lantern with a gentle glow, hanging in the distance at the edge of the city and the sky.

Inside the car, Hannibal asked Blade, "Have you ever thought about what you're going to do after all the vampires are gone?"

Blade thought for a while before answering, "No! But maybe I'll become a priest?"

Hannibal immediately quipped, "Seriously? A priest? Are you going to teach the kids who come to you to pray how to kill vampires?"

Xiahou thrust his thumb between the front seats, giving Hannibal a thumbs-up for his spot-on comment!

Seeing Xiahou's approval, Hannibal immediately switched targets. "What about you, Xiahou? What are your plans for the future?"

Hearing Hannibal's question, Xiahou began thinking about his own plans.

Honestly, he really hadn't given the question much thought! First of all, this was a game, but there was no main quest! It was a sandbox game, and he didn't seem to have much to do, did he? Come to think of it, it had already been so many days. Why was there still no response? Had nobody noticed anything strange about him being trapped here?

After thinking carefully for quite a while, Xiahou said uncertainly, "Maybe I'll travel around, and meet the various superheroes as they appear. If I get the chance later, I might take a trip through space or something!"

Hannibal wasn't satisfied with the answer. Mainly wanting to help Abigail out, he continued, "You've never thought about getting a girlfriend or anything?"

Xiahou hurriedly rejected the idea. "Absolutely not! If I can't fool around, what would I get one for? I'd rather roam around and have fun! And nobody would be telling me what to do!"

Abigail's expression darkened again. It seemed she really didn't have a chance.

Xiahou looked at Hannibal and asked, "What about you, Hannibal? Have you thought about your life afterward?"

"Me? I want to be an actor! What do you think of Green Lantern? I feel like my whole vibe is perfect for playing him!" Hannibal said casually.

"Then you'd better be careful. If Deadpool finds out, he'll definitely kill you!" Xiahou replied in a comforting tone.

The car swerved for a moment, and Hannibal asked nervously, "Why? I've never even offended him!"

He was still thinking about what Xiahou had said before: Deadpool was a ruthless guy who could stroll around the multiverse as he pleased!

Xiahou laughed. "Who can you blame? He personally hates the actor who played Green Lantern. He keeps saying he's going to cross the fourth wall and kill him!"

Hannibal said, "...Is it too late to change my mind?"

"Too late! Just wait for death! Abigail, what about you? Have you thought about your life afterward?" After teasing Hannibal, Xiahou turned to Abigail.

Blade and Hannibal also looked at her. Both of them wanted to know what she had in mind for her future.

Seeing all three looking at her and waiting for her answer, Abigail thought for a while and said, "I think I'll become an archery coach? At least I'm really good at that!"

All three expressed their approval. They continued chatting and laughing for a while before Hannibal said, "Guys, we're almost there. Get ready to fight!"

By then, their car had reached the vicinity of the vampires' headquarters building.
