Nine as One, Each with a Role!

Provoked by Gogeta, Beerus smiled without a word. The next second, he waved one hand swiftly.

His God of Destruction Power transformed into an unstoppable slashing wave that sped toward Gogeta.

Gogeta had been prepared and remained perfectly calm. He raised a hand and fired a blast of power, shattering the God of Destruction's slashing wave.

"Cheap tricks like that are useless against me, God of Destruction," Gogeta said with a scornful smile, his fighting spirit soaring.

"You sharp-tongued brat...!!" A low growl of fury escaped Beerus.

Planting his feet in the void, he gathered and unleashed his power in an instant. His extreme speed broke through space, and he charged in front of Gogeta in less than 0.0001 seconds.

Just as his fist was about to strike Gogeta, Gogeta's attack landed on Beerus's abdomen even faster.

Boom!!! A muffled bang rang out.

The heavy blow sent Beerus recoiling rapidly, and hot white smoke rose from the massive fist print on his abdomen.

He flared his aura to stop himself, then looked down at his smoking abdomen. Shaken, he stared at Gogeta in shock.

What had happened in that instant? Even he, a God of Destruction, hadn't seen Gogeta move.

Noticing the confusion on Beerus's face, Gogeta's smile widened.

"Wondering why I didn't move, yet you were still knocked back by me?" As Gogeta finished speaking, an energy avatar identical to him appeared at his left with a single thought.

It was also in the Super Saiyan 4 God Blue State, and its energy was only slightly weaker than the original's.

"Hmph! A mere energy avatar, a cheap trick. I only need to lift a finger to destroy them completely."

"As for you, once your energy avatars are destroyed, you'll surely have used up a great deal of energy and stamina, won't you?"

Beerus paid it no mind. In his eyes, the energy avatars might be troublesome, but they were also Gogeta's greatest mistake.

As long as he destroyed these energy avatars, he would have a chance to defeat Gogeta once and for all.

"Hm? Are you really sure you can destroy my energy avatars that easily?" Gogeta looked Beerus the God of Destruction straight in the eye, his sharp gaze fixed on him as his smile widened.

"No matter how many energy avatars you create, I'll take them all on!" Beerus sneered, his voice full of contempt.

Clones were still clones. No matter how strong their energy was, the original still had to control them. Dividing his attention would weaken these energy avatars, making them very easy to deal with.

"Fine! You said it!"

"Let's see if you can destroy all my avatars!"

Gogeta's expression suddenly sharpened. He swept his hands through the space before him, forming a pattern that radiated a peculiar power.

The next second, blue light burst forth around him.

Eight Gogetas appeared, all in the Super Saiyan 4 God Blue State. They moved so fast that they surrounded Beerus the God of Destruction in the blink of an eye.

Including the energy avatar he had separated earlier, there were nine energy avatars in all.

Looking at the energy avatars surrounding him, Beerus felt a drop of cold sweat roll down his forehead.

This didn't look good. He had thought Gogeta could create at most one to three energy avatars, but he hadn't expected so many-nine in all!

Though he wasn't afraid of these energy avatars, he would have to pay a considerable price to deal with them all.

"Nine against one. Don't call me despicable. After all, you're the supreme Lord God of Destruction, while I'm just a mortal," Gogeta said with a chuckle, looking down at Beerus the God of Destruction from above.

"Hmph! If I can defeat your original body, why would I fear nine mere energy avatars?!" Beerus took a fighting stance. His battle instincts awakened, every cell in his body ready to be activated at any moment.

He didn't fear these nine energy avatars in the least.

"How arrogant, Beerus!" Gogeta murmured. With a single thought, he directed all nine energy avatars to attack Beerus at once.

Facing their simultaneous assault, Beerus the God of Destruction showed no fear. His movements became unpredictable.

The angels' secret art of letting the body move on its own, Ultra Instinct, activated!

Beerus perfectly dodged and blocked every attack from the nine energy avatars. His speed and evasive movements improved by leaps and bounds, letting him weave freely through the gaps between their punches and kicks and launch counterattacks.

Gogeta watched it all, his gaze gradually sharpening as he observed Beerus's near-perfect evasive movements.

This guy seems to have mastered something incredible. Judging by his movements and speed, he seems able to dodge without thinking about it.

As expected of a God of Destruction. In that case, my energy avatars really can't do much to him.

Gogeta considered his next move, but then an energy avatar suddenly landed a hit on Beerus during the fight, and Gogeta's eyes lit up.

"So that's it!! His evasive movements aren't perfect. He can't dodge every attack!!" Gogeta grew excited.

He held his hands before his chest in a stance to release energy. His God Ki and bloodline power merged, and a very special, terrifyingly powerful force began to take shape little by little.

This was neither God Ki nor mortal power. This was... God-Slaying Power!

Meanwhile, on Beerus's side,

Beerus had entered the Ultra Instinct state, but he was at a disadvantage against the nine energy avatars and could only defend himself.

Though there were only nine energy avatars, and they were weaker than Gogeta's original body, it was only when Beerus actually fought them that he realized how formidable they were.

Nine as one, they attacked and defended with ease, each performing its own role.

Each energy avatar had an entirely different fighting style. When they attacked together, they made up for every shortcoming.
