The Three Essentials for Traveling Abroad
Chu Tianshu did not refuse.
Having someone with a reliable identity who is also familiar with the area is certainly a good thing.
Since he saw Principal Feng, Chu Tianshu asked him a question.
"Did the principal break the Taboo?"
[I have repeatedly used one-tenth of my power to test the breakthrough techniques within the Sky-Spanning Divine Art, practicing them to the point of mastery.]
Feng Jianhua said, "[However, in order to improve the purity of my cultivation, I often used my soul to carry most of my cultivation to the Spirit Realm. This part of my cultivation still needs to be harmonized with my physical body, and I plan to formally break through within this month.]"
"Alright, alright, then I won't bother the principal any longer."
Chu Tianshu originally wanted to talk about the crude breakthrough method he had figured out.
However, although the principal had trained his physical body in his youth, he later devoted decades of energy to internal energy cultivation. Now that he is old, even when using normal internal energy cultivation techniques to break through, he still needs to harmonize his physical body.
He definitely can't use that brutal method of breakthrough, so it's best not to discuss it in detail and distract him.
After putting down his phone, Chu Tianshu thought of Principal Feng's lotus flower image and suddenly made a decision about today's menu.
I'd like some pig's trotter soup!
An hour later, two clay pots were placed on the gas stove in the kitchen.
Chu Tianshu lifted the lid of one of the pots; the pig's trotter soup had already turned whitish and was bubbling with aroma and steam.
After buying the pig's trotters, he first used his internal energy to singe them, then wiped off the charred ash from the surface with his hand, and cut the trotters open, shaping them into an approximately fan shape.
However, he did not use his internal energy to heat the food while it was stewing.
After all, the perception of internal energy can only sense the heat and degree of damage of an object, but it cannot directly perceive the texture and taste of a pig's trotter.
If you overuse your internal energy, you'll have to make a whole new pot of soup, which is too much trouble.
The tendons in the soup are now crystal clear, trembling slightly with the hot broth.
If you ignore the aroma of meat filling the room and only look at the scene, it does indeed have a beauty reminiscent of a lotus flower.
"Hmm, you can add some MSG now."
Chu Tianshu first made a large bowl of soup, then sat at the kitchen doorway, watching the sunset outside, and slowly drank the soup.
In another earthenware pot, there was black rice cooked from the Spirit Realm.
Having already drunk the soup, Chu Tianshu ate half a bowl of rice and then stopped drinking the soup, opting instead to eat the pig's trotters with the rice. The savory, tender meat and the glistening, slightly chewy rice made him feel more and more energetic as he ate.
Given his current physical condition, if he doesn't eat in moderation, these meals won't even fill him up to five-tenths full.
However, the delicious food I prepared myself gave me a feeling of fullness that was enough to make me feel seven-tenths full.
After finishing his meal, Chu Tianshu walked around in the courtyard in front of the gate for a while.
As the last rays of the setting sun faded, streetlights illuminated the village paths.
The village was nearly deserted, a gentle breeze rippled across the fields, and as far as the ear could hear, every household was gathered at home, eating and watching television.
Chu Tianshu stood on the cement ground, silently lowered his eyes, and began to practice his internal energy.
A dozen seconds later, his figure slowly rose up, seemingly close to but not quite touching the ground.
In the open space, the presence of his entire human figure seemed to grow larger and larger, expanding layer by layer, but then quickly shrinking layer by layer.
The process of shrinking and absorbing is much longer than the previous expansion process.
The invisible essence of heaven and earth was continuously drawn into his body.
The "Drifting Tumbleweed Sun-Chasing True Art" can only be entered by Taboo martial artists.
The first step in practicing this technique is to ingest an excessive amount of the essence of heaven and earth, following the method of true cultivation and contemplation.
Although Taboo martial artists can absorb the essence of heaven and earth, there is a balance limit between absorption and consumption.
In a life-or-death battle, the limits of large-scale intake and output are even higher; one might instinctively ingest a slightly excessive amount of vital energy.
However, under normal circumstances, Taboo martial artists cannot instinctively allow excessive amounts of essence to enter their bodies.
The true method of meditation, if it can achieve this, is already enough to demonstrate its profound mystery.
But this is only the first step.
Excessive essence in the body cannot be digested, but it can be slightly guided.
The "Sun-Chasing True Art" contains a set of Tianshan True Form Diagram and Distant Sun True Form Diagram.
The true form of the distant past is still somewhat blurry and simplified.
The Tianshan True Form Diagram is depicted using over 100,000 details to create the majestic mountain range and artistic conception.
In the initial stages of cultivation, it is impossible to guide one through all 100,000 details, but by focusing on the general outline, there are still more than 800 key points.
Chu Tianshu closed his eyes and visualized, guiding the excess essence to gather in various parts of his body, forming mountain-shaped patterns.
Some of these patterns overlap with acupoints and meridians, while others are completely different from the meridians one is born with.
Tianshan has been established, the true form in the dantian will transform into countless floating flowers, gracefully flying along the mountain's path.
Once you've mastered martial arts to this level, you no longer need to be meticulous and rigidly adhere to your innate meridians.
During the process of mutual tempering between True Qi and excess essence, they will combine and change, eventually forming a new type of internal energy.
Therefore, regardless of what attribute of the cultivation technique one learned before breaking the Taboo, as long as one cultivates the "Drifting Tumbleweed Sun-Chasing True Art," the attribute of one's internal energy will be transformed and renewed.
However, some of the advantages of previous understanding of internal energy can still be inherited if one is persistent enough.
The reason why even those who practice the same Sun-Chasing True Art can achieve different levels of internal energy is due to this.
"The vast Tianshan have eight hundred peaks; like a drifting tumbleweed, I aspire to climb the highest heavens..."
Chu Tianshu calmed his mind and focused his thoughts, illuminating his inner self. In his visualization, he felt as if he had become a transparent vessel, with no of his original organs showing.
Only mountain-shaped patterns gradually took shape on this transparent substrate, winding like dragons and flowing like a river, eventually covering the entire surface.
However, when he visualized six hundred miniature patterns, his face turned red and beads of sweat uncontrollably appeared on his forehead.
Since it is called an excess, such essence entering the body will naturally bring an extraordinary burden, and this burden becomes more obvious during the process of guiding and settling.
Cultivators will inevitably feel a strong urge to release and expel excess essence through all the acupoints in their body.
If you can't endure it, this training will be wasted, and you'll have to start all over again next time.
You must at least endure until you have completed the visualization of the eight hundred nodes. Then, within the "Sun-Chasing True Art," there is a set of guiding fist techniques to assist in stretching your breath.
Chu Tianshu, on his first time cultivating, stubbornly endured it and finished visualizing more than 800 nodes. Suddenly, he opened his eyes, touched the ground with both feet, and took three steps in quick succession, throwing punches.
This set of boxing techniques is ancient and powerful, and practicing it evokes the spirit of savage ancestors who braved wind and snow and slew snow beasts.
Many of these postures are pictographic, with transitions between beginning, development, climax, dormancy, and awakening, and shifts between movement and stillness, much like the Five-Animal Frolics.
Chu Tianshu applied the medicine once, his face still flushed, and he couldn't help but look slightly suspicious.
But he played it again, carefully studying it.
By the third time he started practicing, he finally couldn't resist anymore and stopped paying attention to the guiding exercises.
They immediately began practicing the Falai according to the Palm Thunder and Shaolin Fist Manual.
He had mastered these boxing techniques as if they were second nature, and his expression became quite relaxed after each round of practice.
After several rounds of beating, the cement field, once filled with people of varying heights and shapes, suddenly became unified.
Chu Tianshu stood in the center of the arena, his palms clasped together. The charcoal redness on his face had completely faded, leaving him with a fair and rosy complexion, and his overall appearance was excellent.
The effect of this guiding boxing technique is too... crude!
The chapters in "The Drifting Tumbleweed Sun-Chasing True Art" that focus on cultivating internal energy and essence are indeed profound, mysterious, and extraordinary, far surpassing any other martial arts technique Chu Tianshu had ever seen before.
However, this additional guiding boxing technique is really not as good as the "Palm Thunder" and "Storming Shaolin" boxing manuals, which have been optimized many times, and are so careful and perfect in their treatment of the physical body.
Chu Tianshu stood still for a moment, feeling the True Qi and essence within his body combine more deeply, the pressure accumulating, and he was about to lose control, so he started punching again.
The highest level of mastering the Shaolin Fist manual is called Samadhi Power Hand Seal, also known as Vajra Samadhi Palm.
Originally, it was merely a cultivation method, without any intention of killing.
Chu Tianshu naturally incorporated some of the essence and habits of Palm Thunder and Vertical and Horizontal Seal into his practice. When he practiced it deeply, four-leaf windmill-shaped blood and qi patterns would appear on his palms.
However, most of the time, this method is only used for self-practice, because its meaning is too subtle and there is no time to use it in actual combat.
Now that he has cultivated the Sun-Chasing True Art, his internal energy has become increasingly profound and extensive. With a single breath, his physical body and spirit are all enhanced, gaining even more radiance.
As he continued playing, he had a premonition that he could effortlessly create subtle artistic conceptions without having to consciously control the movements.
Chu Tianshu roused himself and practiced until 11:30 p. m., after the streetlights had already been turned off.
Unfortunately, the premonition was just a premonition.
But the change in his skill and characteristics was already beginning to show, and he was quite satisfied. He went home, took a shower, and went to bed.
A few days later, he received a package delivered by Helai.
After signing for the package, Chu Tianshu kept his phone on the call and heard Helai rambling on the other end.
"Besides all the certificates and licenses we've provided, there's also a crucial set of equipment."
Helai laughed, "You can't speak a foreign language, right?"
Chu Tianshu, who was driving a delivery truck, said, "I know a little English."
"English is not enough. Besides the differences between languages in different countries, there are also differences in regional dialects. Some dialects are just as difficult to understand as foreign languages."
Helai, "The equipment I gave you includes 67 different languages from around the world. For each language, there are different translation modes, both written and colloquial. It's extremely efficient and semantically accurate."
Chu Tianshu had already taken out the equipment.
It looks like just three small items: a watch, earphones, and a semi-transparent patch.
"I don't need to say anything about the headphones."
Helai continued, "The patch is placed on your throat, so when you speak, the watch translates your words into the local language and relays them."
Chu Tianshu exclaimed in surprise, "There are such wonderful things? Does that mean we won't have to attend English classes anymore?"
"Education isn't my responsibility, how would I know?"
Helai laughed on the spot, "It seems your English grades must be bad, that's why you're so resentful. Actually, learning more languages can help your child develop their brain in the future."
Chu Tianshu chuckled and put on his watch.
Translation, documents, knife.
Okay, the three-piece set is complete.
