It's Great to Have a Brother
The book, once thrown, flew precisely in the direction of Shisui, Shisui reacted quickly and caught it steadily.
However, when he opened the book out of curiosity, his face instantly turned bright red, as if he were being burned by a raging fire, and his body trembled involuntarily.
He threw the book in his hands away as if it were a red-hot iron, as if it were something that terrified him.
At the same time, Koki's expression turned serious. He stared intently at Itachi and asked sternly, "Where did this book come from?"
Itachi replied innocently, "Jiraiya brought it over last time. He said it was his latest book and asked if it could be sold in our bookstore!"
It comes naturally!
Koki gritted her teeth in anger, cursing inwardly, "Fine, Jiraiya dared to give my brother a book like that! Next time I see him, I'll teach him a lesson he won't forget, and I'll never let him set foot in this house again!"
Itachi blinked his clear eyes and innocently asked Koki, "Brother, why did you throw the book away?"
Looking at her younger brother's innocent face, Koki's lips twitched slightly as she struggled to control her emotions. "In short, you can't read this book! And from now on, you must stay away from Jiraiya, understand?"
Itachi nodded obediently. Although he didn't know why his brother looked so angry, in his heart, his brother was always right, and he would listen to his brother in everything.
Koki shifted her gaze to the books on the ground and called out, "Shisui."
However, all around was silent, and there was no response.
He looked up and saw Shisui staring at him blankly, her ears bright red, seemingly lost in her own thoughts, and he didn't know what she was thinking.
"Shisui!" Koki called out again, exasperated.
This time, Shisui finally realized what was happening. He blinked nervously, his voice tinged with confusion, "Wh... what's wrong?"
Koki frowned and said, "Put the book away, and give it to Kakashi when we get back."
Shisui nodded repeatedly and quickly bent down to pick up the book from the ground.
But he was filled with doubt: why would Koki give this kind of book to Kakashi?
"Why give it to Kakashi?" Shisui finally couldn't suppress his curiosity and asked again.
Koki's lips curled into a mischievous smile as he replied, "Why? Because he likes to watch it, of course!"
This is Kakashi's favorite!
Koki chuckled to herself, imagining how Kakashi couldn't live without this book even when he was sick.
"All right!"
Wait a minute! How did Koki know Kakashi liked this kind of book?
Seeing Koki happily playing with Itachi again, Shisui was bewildered.
As night fell, Koki dragged her slightly heavy steps back to her room after taking a shower.
He gently pushed open the door, and a warm breeze from the air conditioner blew in, instantly making him feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed.
Koki couldn't wait to throw off the covers, quickly burrow into the warm bed, and then let out a deep breath, a satisfied expression on her face.
It turned out that Itachi had already thoughtfully warmed the bed for him, Koki felt all the fatigue of the day disappear at that moment.
Itachi sat quietly on the edge of the bed, watching his brother's satisfied expression, and couldn't help but whisper, "Brother, go dry your hair."
Koki shook her head like a child, stubbornly indicating that she didn't want to leave her warm bed.
"Dry your hair." But Itachi insisted, his tone firm and unwavering, his eyes revealing his concern for his brother.
In the end, Koki couldn't resist Itachi's persistence and reluctantly crawled out of bed, muttering to herself, "Itachi, you're really too strict!"
As Itachi grew up, he became more and more like Shisui, always trying to control him. Koki couldn't help but wonder, who really is the older brother?
Itachi smiled slightly and gently comforted her, "Brother, it'll be quick, otherwise you'll feel uncomfortable."
After saying that, he picked up the hairdryer and carefully began to dry Koki's hair.
The warm breeze gently caressed Koki's hair, and Itachi's movements were as tender as if he were handling an extremely precious treasure.
Under her younger brother's loving care, Koki silently sighed, "Having a younger brother is so wonderful..."
Itachi, meanwhile, gazed at Koki's hair, thinking to himself, "It's so nice to have an older brother..."
Moonlight streamed in through the gaps in the curtains, adding a soft glow to the entire room.
Itachi focused intently on drying his hair, Koki closed her eyes slightly, fully enjoying this moment of tranquility.
After a while, his hair was finally dried, Koki lay back down in bed. Itachi carefully tucked him in to make sure he wouldn't catch a cold.
Itachi blinked his bright, lively eyes, clung tightly to Koki, and said expectantly, "Brother, tell me what happened at school today!"
Koki smiled and patted Itachi's head, saying softly, "At school, it's the same old classes today, really boring, but the classmates are all quite interesting."
Itachi snuggled up to Koki, pouting, "I really want to go to school with you, brother, so I can stay with you forever."
Koki looked at Itachi with affection. "You're still too young, there's no need to rush. Going to school isn't really that great."
Itachi, however, looked serious and said firmly, "Brother, I don't want to wait any longer. I want to grow up quickly, protect you, and make things easier for you."
Koki gently pinched Itachi's cheek. "Itachi is so sensible, I'm so proud of him, but don't work so hard, getting up so early every day, it hurts me to see him like that."
Itachi gripped Koki's sleeve tightly and said, "Brother, I'm not afraid of hardship."
"Brother, I will always be with you."
"Okay, we'll never be apart."
"Brother, get some sleep," Itachi said softly.
"Yes, you too," Koki replied.
Goodnight~
Goodnight~
The morning sunlight peeked into the room through the gaps in the curtains.
In the kitchen, Mikoto had been busy for a long time, carefully preparing a sumptuous breakfast.
After a moment, she gently pushed open Koki's door and called softly, "Koki, get up and have breakfast!"
However, the room was completely silent; there was no response.
Mikoto frowned and raised her voice, calling again, "Koki, wake up!"
However, Koki remained sound asleep, showing no reaction.
Mikoto shook her head helplessly and said somewhat angrily, "I don't know who made such grand pronouncements last night, but is now sleeping in again!"
After saying that, she took off her apron, looking as if she was about to rush into the room and drag Koki away.
At that moment, Shisui quickly came out of the kitchen and stopped Mikoto. He smiled and said, "Don't be angry, let me think of a way."
As he spoke, he gave Itachi, who had just returned from training, a knowing look. Itachi understood and quickly ran towards Koki's room.
Upon entering the room, Itachi saw that Koki was sleeping soundly. He couldn't help but smile. He glanced at the clock in the room and decided to let his brother sleep a little longer.
So he sat quietly by the bed and waited patiently.
Time ticked by, and it seemed like they were running out of time. Itachi gently nudged Koki, saying, "Brother, it's time to get up, or breakfast will get cold."
Koki gently called her name, Mitsuki slowly opened her sleepy eyes, her consciousness gradually awakening from her slumber.
Goodness, why am I so sleepy? Winter is for hibernation!
"Brother, get up quickly, Mom's angry." Itachi said as he helped Koki get her clothes.
Koki looked at Itachi with sleepy eyes, and couldn't help but sigh once again at how considerate her younger brother was.
He groggily sat up, stretched, and then started getting dressed.
