After Nuwa spoke, a long silence fell once more over the Primordial World.

"Nuwa, you mean well, but this Human Emperor is truly detestable. He dared humiliate this Saint in public. Unless I punish him, the resentment in my heart will not be quelled."

A long while later, a voice edged with sharpness rang out again.

It was Sect Master Tongtian, who had not spoken for a long time:

"Yuanshi, aren't you being too hasty?"

"If everything proceeded step by step according to the rules, that would be one thing."

"But now, senior brother, you've acted rashly, intending to gravely wound the Human Emperor and start the great calamity early. Isn't that a little underhanded?"

"How could I, Tongtian, let you have your way?"

"If you withdraw now, then so be it. But if you still insist on using force, I'll have to sample your methods, senior brother!"

The moment he spoke, the entire Primordial World seemed to boil over.

There seemed to be more to Tongtian's words than met the ear.

Everyone had thought that the Human Emperor's abuse had driven Yuanshi Tianzun out of his senses, prompting him to attack so forcefully.

The speaker was none other than the current Human Emperor, Ye Xuan.

He stood ramrod straight, like an incomparably sharp, peerless javelin.

Deep within his pupils, two boundless forces were gathering.

They were the forces of yin and yang, the very foundations of the Primordial World.

They were powers bestowed by the Yin-Yang Corpse-Driving Art.

As the saying went, all things lay within yin and yang.

As the two forces gathered within him, his presence slowly grew stronger.

Deep within his left pupil, a mighty god-demon seemed to dwell. Wisps of black Qi spread out, making the eye even deeper.

Deep within his right pupil, there seemed to be a matchless sun god, radiating dazzling, brilliant white light that made his right eye incomparably bright.

His body still straight, he slowly took several steps forward and came to the Red Embroidered Ball's side.

His gaze burned as he stared at the Three Treasures Jade Ruyi in the sky.

His presence slowly rose, majestic and overbearing.

His words shocked the entire Primordial World!

What was wrong with this Human Emperor?

Did he truly have a death wish?

How could he be so arrogant?

Yuanshi Tianzun, the great master of the Chan Sect, had clearly been about to stop.

The purple and gold Qi surged upward, forming a pillar of energy and light above the Human Emperor that blotted out the sky and sun and shot straight into the heavens.

The mighty figures watching the affair were all astonished. None had imagined that the Human Emperor's presence would be so powerful. It was truly terrifying.

Everyone knew that the Human Emperor had used a special method to activate his fate as Human Emperor.

But none had expected him to wield his fate to such an extent.

Just as Nuwa had said, the current Human Emperor truly was somewhat beyond comprehension.

"Yuanshi, you brute, who do you take me for?"

"I am the current Human Emperor, with the fate of the human race at my left and the will of all living beings at my right. Above, I bear the mandate of the Great Dao; my person is shared by heaven and earth. What an exalted position is this? How could an old brute like you bully me at will?"

"You old brute, you attacked me by force. Do you truly regard the Great Dao as nothing? Do you really think you can take whatever you please from the entire Primordial World?"

Ye Xuan's voice rose from low to loud, and by the end, that incomparably majestic presence soaring into the heavens moved everyone.

The Human Emperor now stood tall between heaven and earth, a noble, righteous spirit bursting forth from his breast. Even the Three Treasures Jade Ruyi above his head could only retreat three leagues.
