A Three-Way Showdown
Kexi had been busy all morning, and her stomach was already growling with hunger.
To avoid being cornered in the reception room by the person carrying the letter again, and to avoid being caught red-handed by Carlotta, he deliberately avoided the front door and slipped out through the back door, taking a longer route towards the Margaret Restaurant.
He bumped into someone as soon as he turned the corner of the garden's low wall.
The newcomer was dressed in a cool outfit: a dark blue halter-neck dress with a moon-white top, a backless design, and a long, semi-transparent ice-blue gauze skirt that cascaded down her back, moving like flowing seawater with the subtle shimmer of swimming fish floating on the gauze.
A white iris was tucked behind her ear, aquamarine crystal pendants dangled from her ears, and delicate crystal chains wrapped around her calves. A pair of high heels accentuated the incredibly long length of her bare legs.
Her long, black hair was slightly tousled by the breeze, giving her a more relaxed look.
Kexi was stunned.
His eyes were fixed, his mouth was slightly open, and there was even a hint of suspicious moisture at the corner of his lips.
He'd seen plenty of beautiful women in his life, but this stunning beauty's outfit today truly hit the nail on the head, leaving his brain's processor completely fried.
The beautiful woman felt extremely uncomfortable under his gaze.
Her fingers unconsciously twisted the hem of her skirt, a faint blush appeared on the tips of her ears, and she smoothed the hair at her temples, her voice so soft it was almost blown away by the wind.
"What's wrong... why are you looking at me like that?"
Kexi snapped out of her daze, quickly swallowed back her saliva, and coughed lightly, "Oh, it's Selina. Sorry, you look really good today, I didn't recognize you at first."
Selina looked up, her gaze a mixture of trepidation and anticipation. "Then... did I not look good yesterday?"
"They're all beautiful."
Kexi quickly waved her hand, then looked her up and down, her tone full of sincerity.
You look better every day, especially today. You look absolutely stunning. You give me a completely new feeling, like I'm seeing you all over again.
Selina's face turned even redder.
She lowered her head, but the corners of her mouth involuntarily curved into a smile.
Two seconds later, she raised her head again, suddenly stepped forward, bent down gracefully, and extended a hand to him in an inviting gesture.
"Then let's get to know each other again."
"Perhaps we could greet you in a different way, like... welcoming the daylight with a dance, Conductor."
"Command?"
Kexi looked left and right, making sure no one else was around, before pointing at herself with a suspicious look. "Are you calling me?"
"What's wrong, young master? Isn't this the code name you gave yourself yesterday?"
"Oh, so you were calling me."
Kexi breathed a sigh of relief, and only then did she realize...
"I thought you were calling out to everyone watching on the screen."
Selina didn't understand what he was saying, but she didn't ask any questions. She simply maintained the inviting pose, her anticipation growing stronger.
As Kexi looked at the outstretched hand, the image of her being pulled into a duet dance last night flashed through her mind.
His old face started to heat up again.
"That's not necessary." He leaned back half an inch tactically.
Selina's eyes darkened for a moment, and she reluctantly prepared to withdraw her hand.
Her fingertips had barely drooped two inches when Kexi grabbed them mid-air.
Selina's heart skipped a beat, thinking he had changed his mind, and her eyes lit up again.
"Come on, let's go eat together." Kexi pulled her forward, taking big strides, as if afraid she would ask her to dance again.
Selina was led forward by him.
Her gaze fell on their clasped hands.
Young Master's hands... are so warm.
Her hands were completely enveloped, and the warmth traveled up from her palms, making her feel light and airy.
Kexi walked ahead, feeling no better herself.
These hands are really cold, both cool and soft, holding them feels like holding a piece of fine chilled rice cake.
He put on a serious face, but his mind was already wandering off somewhere else.
Taking such a beautiful woman out with me, I feel incredibly proud.
It's a pity she wasn't wearing black stockings and a bodycon skirt.
But it looks good too, and it's quite pretty.
This is how she was yesterday.

This is what she looks like today.

Anyone who sees this will be confused.
In front of the main gate of the Montelli Manor.
Augusta straightened his collar and took a deep breath.
Having finally slipped away from under the noses of the Senate and then managed to get into Ragunna using Lupa's business visa, she was about to step through the gates of Montelli when, in the next second, a hand landed on her shoulder from behind.
Augusta's pupils contracted; his body reacted before his mind.
She grabbed that hand with her other hand, her whole body like a fully drawn bow, and suddenly turned around, slashing out with a hand chop that could be heard very briefly, but stopped abruptly in mid-air.
A hand firmly caught her hand chop.
"Augusta ~"
Juno stood behind her, her eyes crinkling with laughter.
"Weren't you going to visit your best friend? How did you end up visiting Montelli?"
Juno tilted her head, her tone sweet enough to melt hearts, but the teasing in her eyes was impossible to hide.
Augusta recognized the person who had approached, and her heart skipped a beat, but she quickly regained her composure.
She withdrew her hand and casually straightened her cuffs. "Oh, it's Juno. I have a close friend in Montelli, so it's only natural for me to visit. Isn't that a perfectly normal thing?"
"Really?" Juno drew out the last syllable, so long that Augusta's brow twitched.
"Yes," Augusta insisted expressionlessly.
"Then how do you explain this letter I have?"
Augusta's expression changed drastically.
She quickly touched herself.
No.
The letter is missing.
Her gaze fell on Juno, Juno was holding up a letter and waving it triumphantly in front of her.
When did you receive it?
"Hmph, guess."
Augusta gritted his teeth. "You didn't see it all, did you?"
"What do you think?" Juno smiled like a cat that had stolen a fish.
"Yo yo yo."
Juno put the letter away and slowly began to circle around Augusta.
"Our governor went to great lengths to sneak away from the Senate and come to Ragunna, keeping it a secret from his best friend, saying he was going to see some close friend. In reality, he came to secretly see his lover."
"Tsk tsk tsk." She deliberately clicked her tongue loudly.
Augusta's ears burned, but she maintained a righteous expression. "What lover? What nonsense are you spouting? I don't understand."
"Yo yo yo."
Juno mimicked her tone, his voice dripping with smugness.
"I don't understand~"
Augusta took a deep breath, about to retort, when Juno suddenly leaned closer, lowered his voice, as if sharing a huge secret. "Let me tell you a secret... I have his letter too."
As if by magic, she produced another letter from behind her back and held it up to Augusta.
The two envelopes were placed together; they were exactly the same.
Same material, same sealing wax, same creases.
Augusta's eyes widened. "How could you have that?!"
"Why can't I have it?" Juno tilted his head, his face full of smugness.
"I'll tell you another secret."
Juno extended a finger and touched Augusta's chest.
He wrote it for me when I was very young, hehe.
Augusta looked like she'd been punched. "Me too."
"You too?" Juno asked in surprise.
"Yes," Augusta said irritably, "I received it when I was very young too."
Juno's smile faded slightly, his eyes narrowed, and his tone became dangerous. "Fine, I knew this bastard had planned this."
The two were facing off when a series of light footsteps approached from afar.
Lupa turned the corner, holding a bottle of soda she had just bought.
She saw two familiar figures standing at the entrance of Montelli in the distance, paused for a moment, and then quickened her pace to run over.
"Hey, Governor, Lady Yu, what are you doing here?"
She ran up to the two of them, and before she could even exchange pleasantries, her gaze fell on the two letters in Juno's hand.
Lupa's expression changed slightly, and the soda almost slipped from her hand.
She glanced at the letter, then at Juno and Augusta, and then pulled out an envelope for herself.
The three envelopes were placed side by side. They were exactly the same. Even the emblems on the sealing wax were identical.
"Wait, how come you have the same letter as me?"
Lupa brought the letter closer to compare, her pupils filled with shock.
"Wasn't this letter... meant for me only?"
Juno and Augusta both turned to look at her.
"What?! You have one too?" Juno's voice rose eight octaves.
