Traveling with Beauties

Seeing that Shui Bing'er had regained her confidence, Su Tianyu nodded. This was the side of Shui Bing'er he liked more.

"Let's go, ladies. We need to leave the Star Dou Great Forest first. We're not out of danger yet. It would be bad if a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beast showed up."

Su Tianyu walked at the front, clearing a path for the girls. Shui Bing'er followed behind him, holding her younger sister Shui Yue'er by the hand as they left with him.

The three older girls exchanged glances and opened their mouths, wanting to say that they should be careful when encountering unfamiliar Soul Masters in a Soul Beast Forest.

But seeing the Shui sisters leave with the man, the three of them could hardly say anything more. They silently followed them out of the Star Dou Great Forest.

After traveling cautiously through the Star Dou Great Forest, Su Tianyu and the girls from Skywater Academy reached its entrance five days later.

Looking at the golden afterglow of the setting sun on the horizon beyond the entrance, Su Tianyu felt his tense nerves relax. Traveling through the dim, dense woods of the Star Dou Great Forest these past few days, while keeping watch in every direction for the different kinds of Soul Beasts that could appear anywhere, had worn him out. Now that he had stopped, he felt utterly exhausted and in poor condition.

He turned to look at the Skywater Academy girls not far behind him. Their faces were pale and their lips were cracked.

Their light blue dresses, once fairly clean and neat, were now covered in thorn rips of varying sizes. Through the holes in their clothes, glimpses of the girls' fair, delicate skin could be seen.

At the sight, Su Tianyu hurriedly turned away. Raising his head to look at the sunset glow on the horizon, he spoke to Shui Bing'er and the others.

"We've made it out of the Star Dou Great Forest. Now we just need to pitch our tents and spend the night outdoors, and then you can return to Skywater Academy."

"Yue'er, are you all right? Are you worn out? We haven't stopped to rest these past few days and have been traveling the whole time. Everyone, let's rest and recover outdoors tonight. We can go home tomorrow."

Shui Bing'er went over to Shui Yue'er and supported her with one hand, asking her younger sister the questions with concern as she continued to pant for breath.

"I'm all right, Sister. I'm just tired from traveling without rest these past few days. Let me rest for a while first."

Shui Yue'er leaned against a small tree, drawing great breaths. Her straight bangs were damp with sweat, making her look like a delicate, sickly beauty.

By comparison, Shui Bing'er was in much better condition than the other four girls. Not only had her light blue dress escaped being torn by the thorny bushes, with only a few wrinkles, but her face was not as pale and wan as the others' either.

That was, of course, thanks to Su Tianyu. During the first day or two, the girls had barely managed to keep up with him.

But over the next three days of travel, the girls began to show signs of exhaustion, and even their pace gradually slowed. When Su Tianyu saw that Shui Bing'er was in poor spirits, he put her on his back right then and silently continued on his way.

At first, Shui Bing'er had been quite embarrassed, feeling that men and women should not touch. He had only carried her for a short while before she strongly insisted that he put her down so she could walk on her own.

After walking for less than another day, she settled down and obediently lay on Su Tianyu's back. Her face was bright red, and she kept her head down, not daring to meet the meaningful looks from her other good sisters. She could only bury her face deep against his back.

The three older girls sat on a dirt slope across from Shui Yue'er. When they heard Shui Bing'er's words, suggestive looks appeared on their faces as they teased her.

"Oh no, we can't. Men and women shouldn't touch. I don't want you to carry me. Put me down, quick! I can walk by myself. I'm not tired."

After saying that, the three girls looked across at Shui Bing'er beside Shui Yue'er, their lovely eyes brimming with laughter and mischievous grins on their faces.

Hearing her three older sisters tease her again, Shui Bing'er felt as though her face were on fire. Her slightly pale complexion immediately turned bright red, leaving her terribly bashful and dizzy with embarrassment. Startled, she hurriedly lowered her head and fell silent.

"Don't tease Bing'er, sisters. If you want to find a partner, I can introduce you to someone. He's a friend of mine, honest and witty."

Su Tianyu turned around and saw the three girls teasing Shui Bing'er. He hurried over and interrupted them.

"We're not looking for anyone. We're going to be good sisters for life."

Hearing Su Tianyu's words, the three girls across from him hurriedly waved their hands, indicating that they only wanted to be close friends and sisters for life.

Standing beside Shui Bing'er, Su Tianyu frowned at their words, a puzzled look on his face. Does this kind of trend exist in every world? He was shocked and could only marvel that in a world so vast, nothing was too strange to exist.

After the girls had rested for a while, they looked much better than before. Su Tianyu continued leading them away from the entrance to the Star Dou Great Forest.

Before long, Su Tianyu led the girls to a flower-filled valley with a flowing stream, arriving before nightfall.

"Bing'er, let's make camp and pitch the tents here. I've been to this flower valley before. No Soul Beasts will come in, so everyone can rest and recover here without worrying."

Su Tianyu turned to Shui Bing'er beside him and spoke gently.

Shui Bing'er nodded and looked around the beautiful flower valley with her lovely eyes.

She noticed that there were many different varieties of flowers in the valley. As far as she could see, dazzling purple, red, pink, blue, and many other flowers were in bloom.

Shui Bing'er stared at the flowers blooming in the valley without looking away, her eyes lighting up. The corners of her mouth lifted slightly, and a sweet, adorable smile appeared on her face, stirring the heart.

The group had just finished pitching their tents in the valley basin when the sky gradually began to darken.

Su Tianyu lit a campfire in the flower valley, with several fish sizzling and dripping oil on the grill.

A golden light shone in his eyes as he watched the fish on the grill. He continuously turned the iron skewers in his hands, heating each fish evenly, then quickly brushed a secret sauce over them.

Seeing that the fish were cooked just right, Su Tianyu lifted them off the grill and placed them on a makeshift table nearby. He called out to the girls playing in the flower valley.

"Bing'er, call your sister and the others over to eat the grilled fish."

Shui Bing'er was admiring the glowing flowers. When she heard Su Tianyu call, she hurriedly called to the older girls playing with her sister not far away.

"Sisters, let's hurry over and eat the grilled fish. Tianyu has finished cooking it and is just waiting for everyone to come eat. And you, Shui Yue'er, stop playing around. We're not at home."

Shui Bing'er stared at Shui Yue'er, but seeing her impatient expression, she could only let the matter drop and refrain from scolding her this time.
