Background / History

Transmigration and Conflicting Plot Knowledge

Su Ruanruan left her family in the modern world after a system brought her into the cultivation world with promises that she could live the life she wanted. She was assured that she would be the world’s only transmigrator. Her system supplies a plot in which Feng Zhuo is the protagonist, allowing her to target his treasures, allies, and opportunities 14 21 22 31.

Feng Zhuo possesses a different account: after dying in his previous life, he read Cultivation Group Favorite Little Junior Sister, which presented Su Ruanruan as the favored heroine and himself as a disposable source of a Divergent Flame. The accounts available to them therefore do not describe the same allocation of opportunities or narrative roles 1 14 21.

Feng Zhuo’s Previous Life

In Feng Zhuo’s previous life, Su Ruanruan was his junior sister under Chixiao. He regularly lent her his Glazed Purifying Fire for alchemy. She secretly nourished the flame with her heart’s blood for forty-nine days and repeatedly emphasized its importance to Chixiao, who weakened Feng Zhuo’s contract with it. After Feng Zhuo’s Golden Core lightning tribulation, the fire forcibly broke their bond and burned him to death 1.

She also discouraged Chixiao from giving Feng Zhuo Primordial Spirit Spring by complaining that her cultivation lagged behind his despite receiving it monthly. Her own long-term use of the spring strengthened her Divine Sense and accelerated her progress in alchemy 3.

In the storybook, she became the sect’s cherished junior sister and acquired six official dao companions. Carefree Peak’s members all died directly or indirectly through her or her associates: Yunxiaozi died defending the sect against her devil venerable companion; Ye Wuhen was exposed as a human-yao hybrid by her yao king companion and denounced as a traitor; Ling Shuanghua’s exposed Pure Yin Physique led to her suicide; and Cang Wuya was killed when her followers carved out his coveted Sword Bone 1 14 36.

Sect Entry and Early Reversals

After Feng Zhuo’s rebirth, Su Ruanruan offered him a Rejuvenation Pill, then accused him of humiliating her when he used his own supreme-grade pills instead. He publicly challenged her account. During the master-choosing ceremony, she implied that he had boasted of his superior alchemical aptitude, encouraging Chixiao’s hostility toward him. Chixiao accepted her, while Feng Zhuo ultimately joined Carefree Peak 1 2 3.

Her next attempts to secure opportunities also failed. Feng Zhuo exposed her false claim during a dispute with Yun Li over a disguised beast egg. At the Azure Cloud Pavilion auction, he countered her group’s attempts to inflate his bids. She then enlisted Chu Yunfei to seize the Dark Nether Sword Token from Feng Zhuo and Cang Wuya, but Xuanweizi’s protection prevented a forcible robbery 8 9 11 12 14.

Green Wood Illusion Forest

Su Ruanruan entered the secret realm intending to obtain Spirit-Cleansing Grass and recruit Xuanfeng before Feng Zhuo could. Finding the expected cave already collapsed, she panicked that another person knew the plot. Her system altered her memories and was replaced by System No. 007 21 22.

She later encountered a gravely injured Feng Zhuo, sent Chen Yuanshan away, and approached with a poisoned needle concealed in her sleeve. Before she could strike, the uncontrolled Nine Nether Soul-Devouring Vine released blood resentment Qi that entered her meridians and disfigured her face 27 28.

Su Ruanruan falsely accused Feng Zhuo and Nangong Tang of deliberately poisoning her. She used the accusation, together with information about an ancient cultivator’s cave abode, to enlist Shen Mingxiao and organize a hunt. Although she missed the ten-thousand-year-old Spirit-Cleansing Grass, she found a thousand-year-old stalk and had Bai Wuxia refine a pill for Xuanfeng, securing his support 31 32 33.

The hunt culminated in an ambush by roughly fifty disciples at the secret realm’s exit. Feng Zhuo trapped the attackers with Green Vine Heart Flame while Nangong Tang recorded their accusations and infighting. He also recovered the blood resentment Qi from Su Ruanruan’s body. Her life-bound White Tiger subsequently attacked him and was killed by Yanba 36 37 38.

Law Enforcement Hearing and Aftermath

At the Law Enforcement Hall, Su Ruanruan accused Feng Zhuo of poisoning her and stealing her ten-thousand-year-old Spirit-Cleansing Grass. He presented the recording of the ambush and swore a Heavenly Dao Oath denying both accusations. When his oath passed without punishment, she called unsuccessfully for her system and feigned unconsciousness rather than swear an equivalent oath 44 45 46.

Lingxiaozi sentenced her to ten years in the Nine Nether Blood Domain. Chixiao subsequently spared her that punishment by agreeing to refine sixth-tier pills for the sect without compensation for one hundred years. Back in her cave abode, she received System No. 008 and planned to win over the injured Devil Venerable Li Tianxing, intending to use his power against Feng Zhuo and Yunxiaozi 46 47.

Su Ruanruan deliberately cultivates a gentle, vulnerable public image. She uses tears, apparent modesty, flattery, and claims of mistreatment to turn disputes in her favor. Her private thoughts frequently contradict her affectionate words: she dismisses Bai Wuxia as useless after he spends his savings on her and calls Shen Mingxiao a fool while seeking his help 1 2 12 31.

She treats other people’s opportunities as prizes to appropriate and their loyalty as something to acquire. Her plans include taking Feng Zhuo’s destined resources, recruiting his future subordinate, and exploiting Li Tianxing’s emotional needs. When her predictions fail, she blames Feng Zhuo, the Heavenly Dao, or her systems 14 21 47.

Despite this confidence, the loss of her plot advantage frightens her. Suspecting another transmigrator, she demands to return home and accuses the systems of human trafficking. Her stated reason for transmigrating is to enjoy herself, not to endure danger or defend the cultivation world 22 47.
